Obama blasts GOP on immigration
Politico, by Josh Gerstein

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 8/1/2014 3:45:01 PM

President Barack Obama blasted congressional Republicans Friday for failing to craft a workable response to the border crisis before leaving Washington for their summer recess, setting the stage for executive actions to address the surge in child migrants from central America. “House Republicans as we speak are trying to pass the most extreme and unworkable version of a bill that they already know is going nowhere, that can’t pass the Senate,” Obama said in a hastily-announced afternoon appearance in the White House press briefing room. “They´re not even trying to to solve the problem,” the president complained.

0bama created this immediate problem, as well as ignoring every other one facing US, and then blames his herd of RINOS for not getting the votes he needs to continue the extortion. The next five weeks are going to definitely heat up as 0bama may go the threatened way of issuing illegal executive orders that countermand his office as president.

I´ve never seen a more disinterested performance than this "news" conference. Obama was totally detached, and actually may have been on something. He was almost incoherent.

When he started whining about the Republicans and nothing getting done, I screamed at my TV...HARRY REID you ignorant dolt! Then my wife changed the channel and made me go read a book. OK, I didn´t really call him a dolt, but the word would never make it past MS Lucianne´s gate keeper....

Time to be blunt: OBAMA is the problem. The proper, Constitutional remedy for the problem is expedited Impeachment and removal. In his case, immediate deportation back to Kenya.

The so-called "comprehensive" immigration reform bill that Obama has been hawking would legalize most mass uncontrolled illegal immigration on into the future. If passed it will ensure that there are double or triple the number of poor and uneducated aliens who will be here in about 10 years. Then it will become politically impossible for politicians to enforce the borderline and the immigration laws even if they wanted to, because of the massive foreign born liberal Democrat voter bloc that will then exist in this country. After that happens the liberal Democrats will counsel that the only answer to mass uncontrolled illegal immigration is another big amnesty before every future presidential election.

Al-Jazeera has retracted a controversial story it published last week that questioned the authenticity of the videos that showed the execution of James Foley and Steven Sotloff, chalking it up to a “Hollywood” fabrication to provoke war. When accessing the link to the story, deemed by many online commentators as offensive and insensitive, an error page now appears, Al Arabiya News reported. Al-Jazeera English later posted a retraction on its website that called the post “inaccurate.” The story had suggested that Foley likely fabricated the execution video, despite confirmations from the U.S. government that the video was real,

As Congress returns to Washington Monday after a monthlong break, lawmakers are divided on whether or not the president needs to come to Congress for a new authorization of force against Islamic State — also known as ISIS or ISIL — forces in Syria. Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican, said Sunday it would benefit President Obama to get Congress onboard with strikes against the Islamic State but that he shouldn’t waste time doing so if he wants to take immediate action. “If that’s going to delay what he wants to do, he should go ahead and take action without waiting for Congress,” Mr. King said on

To try to see good news in Middle Eastern developments, one has to be an eternal optimist and one´s mind has to be wired for reverse logic. Consider the following: the situation in the Middle East is so unsustainably bad, that there cannot not be a change, and it cannot change to the better; or, the threat of the Islamic State group can even generate a positive outcome if it compels old antagonists to rally around a common cause. The Islamic State group poses such a massive threat to those in the Middle East and beyond, that other real or perceived threats - such as the Iranian nuclear arms issue, Bashar al-Assad's dictatorial rule,

Cairo - Egyptian authorities have ordered the arrest of nine men who appeared in a video purporting to show the country´s first gay marriage, accusing them of inciting debauchery and undermining public morals. Gay marriage is not legal in Egypt, a conservative Muslim society where the footage, which went viral on social media sites last month, has caused a stir online. Though homosexuality is not specifically outlawed in Egypt, discrimination is rife. Arrests of gay men occasionally make headlines and the accused are typically charged with debauchery, immorality or blasphemy, drawing criticism from rights groups.

My guess is no... because Americans seem to have developed an infinite capacity for patience with a federal government that is increasingly mettlesome, mendacious and menacing.[SNIP] This last Friday night, an interview was aired which should convince American citizens once and for all that their government is not telling the truth about what happened in Libya two years ago. That’s been obvious to many of us for months, but despite the naming of a select committee by the U.S. House of Representatives to investigate what could have happened, what should have happened,
