´She´s a wonderful person!´:
American President Barack
Obama hails Katy Perry
as she performs at The White House

In what might be the ultimate seal of approval, Barack Obama hailed Katy Perry as a ´wonderful person´ last night. The U.S. President hosted the ´Dark Horse´ hit-maker at a White House dinner to honour the 46th anniversary of the Special Olympics and admitted he felt ´grateful´ she´d taken time out of her busy schedule to be there. Introducing her on stage, Obama said: ´We have just one of my favorite people performing tonight -- Katy Perry. We are so grateful to her."

Comments:
Hang in there, Iraqi Christians being slaughtered, refugee kids huddled at our border, Israelis being bombed by Hamas - Obama has other important demands on his time than you.

"...ultimate seal of approval..."

Really? I´d say the Lord is the owner of that, and I doubt He loaned it out to our President.

How patronizing!

She is a mindless ninny who, like, you know, is sloppy over Obie. Will show up at the drop of an invitation to wrap herself in a tiny revealing American flag or whatever... All for The Cause.

They are few and far between these days.

The White House has become Celebrity-Central. Actual work at the desk of the most powerful man in the world would be welcome. A few less food-ops and a lot more seriousness coming from this White House would be helpful to Americans, especially those Americans who are getting screwed by the IRS, the VA, the Defense Department, the Justice Department, and the EPA.

But our POTUS needs his celebrity fix. What is his IQ anyway?

A Comment from her clearly tells the story: "She said in the past: ´My parents are Republicans and I´m not. They didn´t vote for Obama, but when I was asked to sing at the inauguration, they were like, ´We can come.´ And I was like, ´No, you can´t. I love you so much, but that--on principle.´"

Thus, she values Zippy more than her parents.

There are two big reasons I like Katy Perry -- and her voice isn´t one of them.

I´m surprised Nobama didn´t pick up a fiddle, just like that other great leader, Nero.

For those that don´t know who she is, Katy Perry is a singer that is ditzy, cute, has huge boobs, and likes to wear skimpy outfits to show off her assets.

She is a very mediocre singer at best. But most guys are too busy staring at her to care how she sings.

As soon as her looks start to fade and her boobs start to sag, her career is done.

She won´t be missed...

A couple of months back, I read an article in a major magazine about Katy Perry. In it she stated that President Obama had called her on the phone three times. I find that peculiar. What´s the President doing calling bubble gum singer Katy Perry? Yep, "She´s a wonderful person."

Obama blasts terrorists, returns to golf

President Obama lashed out on Wednesday at the terrorists who beheaded a US journalist and pledged to stop the militants — and then he darted off to a Martha’a Vineyard golf course with some of his buddies. "A group like ISIL has no place in the 21st century,” Obama said, using the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He added that the international community should work together to “extract this cancer so that it does not spread.”

But this virulent display of hatred and bigotry was remarkable, and considerably different from anything I’ve previously encountered,” Cruz said, just a few hours after his pro-Israel speech to the In Defense of Christians conference was drowned

WASHINGTON--US President Barack Obama will tell the American people on Wednesday night that he plans to order strikes against Islamic State forces in both Syria and Iraq until the group is ultimately destroyed. The president´s plan includes additional support for opposition militias in Syria vetted by the United States, which will serve as a ground force complementing America´s air campaign. [Snip] The "comprehensive strategy," as described by one White House official, will involve "US military action and support for the forces combating ISIL [Islamic State] on the ground–both the opposition in Syria and a new, inclusive Iraqi government."

As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. For starters, the president doesn’t believe the Islamic State is a current threat to the U.S.: “So ISIL poses a threat to the people of Iraq

Rarely has a president faced a greater challenge in establishing his credibility for a new foreign-policy move than Barack Obama did in his nationally televised speech tonight. A CNN poll earlier this week found that just 30 percent of voters thought Obama had presented a clear plan for fighting the Islamic State. While Obama now pledges to ask Congress to train and aid Syrian rebels who would fight the group, voters remember that he backed similar plans in Syria in 2013, when his advisers saw Syrian president Bashar Assad as the major threat. The new Fox News poll out today has more

A new report from NBC claims that President Obama couldn´t get a tee time during a recent visit to New York. So he packed up and went home (before returning to New York the next night for a private wedding). "President Obama was turned down at several top golf courses in Westchester while he was visiting the area over Labor Day weekend, sources tell NBC 4 New York," the report states. President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.” Neither of those sentences, unfortunately, is true. ISIL is an insurgent group that controls enormous territory in Iraq and Syria that it governs. It maneuvers conventional light

Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. He took that a step further Wednesday night. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic." He didn´t say they are perverting their religion; he said they´re not even part of that religion. Tonight, exactly one year after Barack Obama strode to a microphone in the East Room of the White House to make a prime-time televised address to the nation on "what to do about Syria", the US president is preparing once again to do…just that. Even by the tortured standards of Mr Obama, the 2013 address was a truly dismal affair in which the President could be heard arguing with himself over his own non-response to the Assad regime´s use of chemical weapons. Nearly six years into a presidency devoted to ending U.S. wars in the Muslim world, President Obama faced the nation Wednesday night to explain why he has decided to engage in a new one. Obama did not describe his authorization of direct military action to defeat the Islamic State terror group as a conventional war. To the contrary, in a prime-time address from the White House, he sharply contrasted his use of targeted but limited American force with the large-scale air-and-ground invasions launched by his predecessor, George W. Bush. “This effort will be different from the wars in Iraq and
