U.N. condemns Israel, U.S. for
not sharing Iron Dome with Hamas

Washington Times, by Cheryl K. Chumley

The United Nations slammed Israel for possibly committing war crimes in its fight against Hamas — and then backed that accusation by suggesting the Jewish nation ought to be sharing its Iron Dome defensive technology with the very terror group it’s fighting. U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said to members of the media at an “emergency” meeting of the U.N. Human Rights Council that Israel was falling short in its duty to protect citizens in the Gaza Strip from getting killed by its rockets. “There is a strong possibility that international law has been violated, in a

Just when you thought you heard everything ... share your technology and weapons with your enemy???? Don´t they understand the concept of war? One side beats the other. This is not a grade school t-ball game.

Good grief, you obviously can´t fix stupid. The UN needs to go somewhere else, why do they get to live the high life in America. Their headquarters should be set up where they are needed most, Africa comes to mind.

The U.S. sHould stop all payments to the U.N. and get out of the U.N., which would be then be free to move its headquarters to Gaza or some hell-hole in Africa.

There are credible reports that the IDF has uncovered at least 2 tunnels from Gaza into Israel that originate in UN buildings.
How about reporting THAT?
The UN has lost what little moral authority it had and is now a sponsor for terrorists

With all due respect (zero) to the clueless Ms. Pillay, Israel *asks* for such a stupid accusation every time they try to *avoid* collateral damage, by careful targetting, by using expensive precision munitions, by using the smallest possible bombs, and of course most of all, by WARNING that they are about to bomb something.

In a war, these are all horrible mistakes.

Israel is trying to fight a war and not fight a war, and it invites the Pillays of the world to stick their stupidity (even if, heaven forfend, it is well-meaning stupidity) into the mix with these kinds of comments.

Israel gives Iron Dome to Hamas... and peace will break out all over....
Now, why didn´t anyone think of that before??

Oh, I think the UN moron forgot to mention there is a second step needed to achieve lasting peace: After Israel gives Hamas the Iron Dome, they should give Iran their entire nucler arsenal and open all the checkpoints to allow arabs free range anywhere within Israel they want to go.

THEN, we will have peace in the Mideast.

Actually, this is genius. She is trying to help Israel. How simple, IDF would simply program all the missiles to go to targets within Gaza and blow them up. IDF could then go into the business of resupply and make a profit. Hamas would never catch on and if they did , they would be too embarrassed to tell.

There is gross stupidity here but I noticed a great irony as well. The Iron Dome is an outgrowth of the Reagan Defence initiative which was ridiculed by the left as "Star Wars" It was a difficult engineering problem but after years of work it is becoming a reality. What is wrong with having defensive weapons when the offensive weapons ( Nuclear Missiles ) have left everyone defenceless? It is a good thing. Reagan was told it was impossible. That was not true. Reagan had confidence in the inventiveness of people and worked with them on a difficult problem. He has been proved a visionary years after his death! Now the left which first ridiculed this idea calls it a war crime if it is not shared with the enemy! Let us all hear it from the left - you were wrong and Reagan was right. There should be no objection to defensive weapons especially when the offensive weapons have been developed to a much greater extent. Give Reagan the credit he deserves but stop expecting anyone to surrender to people who are determined to kill them!

Just hours after apologizing for using what was perceived as an anti-Semitic slur, Vice President Joe Biden deployed another term Wednesday that some might consider ethnically offensive. Speaking at a campaign finance reform rally in Iowa, Biden recalled a meeting he had with Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore. Biden described Yew as “the wisest man in the Orient.” The terms “orient” and “oriental” are considered widely outdated and offensive to Asians. Earlier in the day, Biden apologized for having recently described opportunistic bankers as “Shylocks,” a reference to a greedy Jewish money loaner in an Shakespearean play.

GENEVA — The Ebola virus outbreak in West Africa risks ballooning into a humanitarian catastrophe without a major surge in international efforts to contain it, senior United Nations officials said Tuesday, estimating the cost of this effort at $1 billion. He said the number of reported cases had climbed to 4,985, including 2,461 deaths. Half of the infections and deaths occurred in the past 21 days,

I’m old enough to remember when worrying about the ebola outbreak was said to be the business of paranoid hysterics. It’s not that bad of an outbreak, ebola’s not terribly contagious, it’ll never come to the United States, and if it does we’re totally ready to kick its microscopic ass with containment teams ready to swoop in as soon as highly-trained TSA agents notice air passengers with any of the symptoms. It’s not even worth talking about. Just ignore ebola and it will go away. That was then, and this is now. The Washington Post reports that President Obama has

WASHINGTON — A nonpartisan congressional agency is raising new questions about compliance with a key compromise on abortion that allowed the federal health care law to pass in 2010. The Government Accountability Office said in a report released late Monday that only 1 of 18 insurers it reviewed was separately itemizing a charge for coverage of elective abortions on enrollees’ bills. That detail is important because the original compromise that President Barack Obama sealed with anti-abortion Democrats stipulated that no federal funds would be used to pay for elective abortions. The Obama administration is preparing to introduce major steps to phase out production of a popular chemical coolant used in refrigerators and air conditioners, citing growing evidence that the substance is contributing to the warming of the planet. The White House will announce on Tuesday a series of voluntary commitments by some of the country’s largest chemical firms and retailers to move rapidly away from R-134a and similar compounds used in nearly every office, home and automobile in the country, according to current and former U.S. officials familiar with the effort. The administration is simultaneously stepping up diplomatic efforts to

Hundreds of Ferguson protesters and local far left activists packed the St. Louis County Council meeting last night in Clayton, demanding action in the Michael Brown shooting case. Brown was shot dead in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014 after he robbed a local Ferguson convenience store. Brown reportedly smashed police officer Darren Wilson in the face, severely injuring Wilson, before he was shot dead. Protesters threatened continued rioting and violence if Officer Wilson is let off. (Tweet) The mob told Councilman Steve Stenger that he has until noon on Wednesday to denounce County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch, who endorsed Stenger’s

Just call her a pit bull without lipstick! Sarah Palin is proving she has a sense of humor about the makeup-free photos that surfaced this week. On Monday, the 50-year-old politician was photographed by paparazzi looking fresh-faced without any cosmetics on. But instead of getting mad about the slyly snapped no-makeup shots, the former Alaska governor took to Facebook to joke about the incident. "Feel bad for the poor paparazzi hounding outside my truck this morning hoping to capture a tabloid ‘exclusive´ of me coming out of Bikram Hot Yoga. How about we take away their ‘exclusive´ and I´ll give

A village of just 1,000 residents in Switzerland has been forced to raise taxes because an African refugee and her seven children cost the local authority £40,000 in benefits every month. Hagenbuch, in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is understood to be spending close to a third of its total annual budget on the family after they arrived from Eritrea in East Africa three years ago. The massive benefits bill covers day-to-day living expenses such as groceries and cleaning costs, as well as paying for four of the woman´s children to be housed in an orphanage and even bills for

Bill Cosby played the devoted father and loving family man on television for years, but off camera, Mr. Nice Guy had a volatile temper, played the Hollywood big shot and was a hard-partying philanderer. With riches and success, Cosby indulged himself in illicit affairs in Las Vegas and partied with abandon in Los Angeles with celebrity swingers and Playboy bunnies at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion, while his wife Camille was ensconced in their home. Cosby´s world came crashing down when an old lover from the summer of 1975, Shawn Berkes, approached him with a child she claimed was his and
