Former CIA Officer Battles
‘Dummy,’ ‘Clown’ Geraldo over
New Clinton bin Laden Tapes

Mediaite, by Eddie Scarry

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/1/2014 9:12:57 AM

On Fox News Friday, Geraldo Rivera got into it with former CIA official Michael Scheuer over newly surfaced recordings of former president Bill Clinton, in which he claims the day before 9/11 that he could have killed Osama bin Laden. In the tapes, Clinton says the reason he didn’t go in for the kill is that he would have had to “destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him (bin Laden).” Scheuer, identified as head of CIA’s bin Laden unit 1995-1999, disputed Clinton’s

Comments:
We have yet another example of the idiot Geraldo showing his backside and doing his usual obnoxious, useless filibustering. He just loves to hear himself talk. It was delightful seeing Scheuer take him down. I wish they would have let them continue because Geraldo would have been left in shreds. Lost in the discussion was the fact that Scheuer said Clinton lied about this because Scheuer was there.

What Bill is saying is that FDR and Truman are no better than Hitler. For example. Dresden was firebombed and Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked, killing thousands of "innocent civilians". This "innocent civilian" crap has made it impossible to win wars. In time Israel will be defeated by the media. You know, like Vietnam.

I saw this segment, and Scheuer said that the opportunity for Clinton to kill bin Laden came on December 20, 1998; that there were no women and children nearby; that a nearby mosque would have been empty at 30 a.m. Additionally, Clinton referred to Khandahar as "a small town in Afghanistan" when in fact, it is a city of more than 400,000. Clinton and Geraldo have a lot in common. Why did Geraldo melt down defending Clinton?

Scheuer´s comments were fascinating and then FOX brought Geraldo on. Note to FOX, get rid of Geraldo, no one likes him, he´s an egotistical joke. Replace him with Scheuer, he was interesting and has insightful knowledge.
I always thought it was convenient that Bill was out of the country and Hillary might have been too, on 9-11. And now it comes out that Bill mentions on 9-10 how he could have eliminated Bin Laden. Not too many were familiar with the name Bin Laden on 9-10. What a coincidence.

It is appalling that liberals like Geraldo insist on a delivering a monolog instead of participating in a dialog.
Geraldo must be frightened that he will be exposed as the ignorant fool that he is.

He insists on talking over people and continues his rant after the hosts have asked for him to give others a chance to talk.

Juan Williams and Kirsten Powers do the same thing, likely because they have no intellectual argument to offer, backed with facts and logic.

Scheuer told the facts as he knew them. After all, he was there and Geraldo wasn´t, so why have Rivers on other than to stir up controversy? It seems Fox was more interested in showing a screaming match than getting out the truth.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller.
