ObamaCare Disaster
in California

Canada Free Press, by Arnold Ahlert

Original Article

California’s experience with ObamaCare portends a dubious future for the nation. “The rate increase from 2013 to 2014, on average, was significantly higher than rate increases in the past,” said Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones at a news conference Tuesday. Jones admitted that Californians endured premium rate increases ranging from 22 percent to 88 percent from last year to this year. “The rate increase from 2013 to 2014, on average, was significantly higher than rate increases in the past,” Jones added. Unsurprisingly, younger Californians bore the brunt. Jones cites one region of Los Angeles County, where people age 25 paid 52

All that Mr. Ahlert stated in the article was predicted and scoffed at by the dems.

Yeah - - that´s the answer!

Let the gummamint tell the greedy insurance companies what they can charge. Make them charge $2,500 less than before. Make them live up to the hope and change of 0bamacare.

Put them all out of business! Let the gummamint give free healthcare to the people! Socialism rules!

Small practitioners are on the way out. Hoepfully, hospitals will employ them, or other large organizations.

Interestingly, Congress only has the power to regulate intERstate commerce. Health insurance and medical practitioners are intRAstate.

FTA: "That would be the same Mary Landrieu who cast the deciding vote for ObamaCare and claimed that predictions of higher costs were a “pathetic lie” in a 2009 speech on the Senate floor prior to the bill’s passage." When next she runs, play video of that speech, and overlay with: It´s time to retire this pathetic liar!

Karl Rove and his Crossroads GPS PAC are about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the senate -- by campaigning to the left of incumbents Mark Pryor and Kay Hagan on behalf of Republican challengers Tom Cotton and Thom Tills. So blatant is this attempt in the latest round of TV ads that the Washington Post teased Rove with a headline that taunted him as a "bleeding heart liberal." Reporter/blogger Greg Sargent said in the story that the two ad campaigns "show Republicans once again hitting Dems from the left on entitlements." Salon ridiculed the North Carolina ad as the "dumbest of the season" so far, and it was almost

One of the most important tools humanity needs right now is frank speech about Islam. Unfortunately, in journalism, on campuses, and in politics, politically-correct speech codes demonize any analysis of Islam as "Islamophobia." Speech taboos are obeyed across a wide spectrum. In September, 2001, after the 9-11 attacks, President George Bush stated, "Islam is peace." In 2007, his fellow officers declined to take effective action against U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan, even after he exhibited to them a PowerPoint presentation that cited the Koran to predict and support his subsequent, 2009 shooting of soldiers at Fort Hood. As the Christian

Every day, more damning evidence oozes out of the festering carbuncle of the persecution by the Obama IRS of conservatives. The latest two fetid secretions are these: (1) Lois Lerner’s lost e-mails were never “lost” at all, but have been archived, and (2) Lois Lerner’s BlackBerry, which also contained all the lost e-mails, was scrubbed and destroyed one year after her hard drive crashed. Judge Sullivan shows no intention of letting Obama’s underlings off the hook, and at this point a full-scale judicially ordered independent prosecution of the crimes committed seems to be in the works. In a story initially and doggedly pursued by former Breitbart News reporter Lee Stranahan, Jesse Benton has resigned as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign manager, "citing potential distractions over renewed attention to a scandal from the Iowa 2012 caucuses." At issue is Benton´s possible involvement in a vote buying scandal dating back to the 2012 Iowa Caucus during which Benton, a long-time Paul family associate, ran Ron Paul´s campaign. Days ago, former Iowa GOP state lawmaker Kent Sorenson "pleaded guilty to charges of accepting money to change his endorsement in 2012 from Michele Bachmann to Ron Paul."

Though the document focuses on the Texas-Mexico border, Breitbart Texas has confirmed that federal agents across the entire US-Mexico border have received the ISIS terror warning. The document was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety and warned that ISIS was actively promoting and encouraging supporters to take advantage of the porous Texas-Mexico border to carry out terrorist attacks against US citizens. We still don’t have all the facts about happened in Ferguson, but we can already draw one big lesson. Clearly, something tragic happened during the confrontation on the street that day that left a young man dead and a community in chaos. Certainly, our hearts go out to the family and we can all hope that the investigation into what happened will be swift, thorough and fair to all parties. Already, of course, the shooting of Michael Brown has sparked a much bigger debate on a range of topics, from the state of civil rights in America and community policing methods to the growing militarization of local police forces.

However, the origins of the group and hence the threats are not to be believed “as advertised.” We are being subjected to more lies from the White House to Foggy Bottom, along with many elected leaders who know the real story but insist upon pushing a false narrative. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

In August 2012, James Foley retweeted a link to a CNN story asking “Right-wing extremist terrorism as deadly a threat as al Qaeda?” The article concluded that indeed it was. Three months later, Foley had been kidnapped. Two years later, on another August, a former branch of Al Qaeda chopped off his head. In a New Yorker interview this year, which seemed to focus on the Lakers more than anything else, Obama wrote off ISIS as what happens when a “jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms”. He suggested that the answer lay in training the Iraqi police forces better.

In his comments on the jihad being waged by the Islamic State in northern Iraq (ISIL), President Obama recycled yet again the shopworn false knowledge about Islam that continues to compromise our response to Muslim violence: “So ISIL speaks for no religion. Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just God would stand for what they did yesterday, and for what they do every single day.” Over at the New York Post, a columnist rightly took the president to task by saying, “You can’t divorce the Islamic State from religion.” Unfortunately, the column is

Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

ISIS is a cancer that must be stamped out, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry wrote Saturday in an opinion piece for The New York Times. Kerry called the Islamist extremist group, known for beheadings, crucifixions and terror campaigns against religious and ethnic minorities, a "unifying threat to a broad array of countries" that needs to be confronted. It will take two decades to rebuild the thousands of houses destroyed during Israel’s assault on Gaza, according to a recent NGO report. At least 17,000 homes were obliterated or severely damaged during the conflict, with thousands more needing substantial repairs, according to an assessment by Shelter Cluster. More than 2,100 Palestinians, most of them civilians, were killed during the conflict. In addition 71 Israelis were killed – all but six of them soldiers. But the report on Gaza’s housing stock indicates inhabitants of the densely populated strip will face a severe infrastructural burden over the coming years.
