Jeff Sessions Takes Down GOP
Border Bill by Lobbying House

Breitbart Big Government, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 8/1/2014 8:43:30 AM

House Republican leaders are frustrated that they had to pull their $659 million border bill on Thursday, after Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) convinced enough Republicans to stand up for American workers and vote against a bill that did not explicitly prevent President Barack Obama from unilaterally granting work permits to millions of illegal immigrants. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), who will become the new House Majority Whip on Friday, saw this vote as his first test. Acccording to National Journal, "Scalise´s new whip team was privately blaming" Sessions´ opposition for "causing last-second problems leading up the planned vote."

Comments:
Another hard hitting article from Mr Lee. What disturbs me are the actions of Steve Scalise who was described as a Tea Party conservative before becoming House Majority Whip. Does a Rep. have to forsake those who voted for them to rise to leadership in the House?

To answer the question. Yes, you must toe the establishment line to succeed in a leadership position. Thank God for men like Jeff Sessions. He is actually doing the will of the people. The establishment ignores us in most every decision they make. Their arrogance in knowing what is best for the rest of us is highly insulting. They live in a bubble and have no idea what it is to live the life of an American citizen who is taxed beyond belief and has very limited representation. Most of all, they have no contact with the illegals they foist off on us. They are protected from the crime, rape, DUI caused accidents, lost jobs and lower wages that effect the working poor. None of that touches these pampered princes and yet they feel it is fine for us to have to deal with. I hope that the town hall meetings (if our dear leaders are brave enough to have them) are filled with irate citizens who vent their frustration at them. It is time they understand how angry we are.

Pericles (/´p?r?kli?z/; Greek: ?e?????? [perikl?^?s], Perikles, "surrounded by glory"; c. 495 – 429 BC) was arguably the most prominent and influential Greek statesman, orator and general of Athens during the Golden Age— specifically the time between the Persian and Peloponnesian wars. He was descended, through his mother, from the powerful and historically influential Alcmaeonid family.

Pericles had such a profound influence on Athenian society that Thucydides, a contemporary historian, acclaimed him as "the first citizen of Athens".[1] Pericles turned the Delian League into an Athenian empire, and led his countrymen during the first two years of the Peloponnesian War. The period during which he led Athens, roughly from 461 to 429 BC, is sometimes known as the "Age of Pericles", though the period thus denoted can include times as early as the Persian Wars, or as late as the next century.

Sessions has earned the right to lobby both houses. The man has been a member of the subcommittee on immigration reform and border security for years. Still leadership has kept him out of the debate. He should have been part of the gang of 8 negotiations. He might have stopped the Senate´s foolishness.

Every day, more damning evidence oozes out of the festering carbuncle of the persecution by the Obama IRS of conservatives. The latest two fetid secretions are these: (1) Lois Lerner’s lost e-mails were never “lost” at all, but have been archived, and (2) Lois Lerner’s BlackBerry, which also contained all the lost e-mails, was scrubbed and destroyed one year after her hard drive crashed. Judge Sullivan shows no intention of letting Obama’s underlings off the hook, and at this point a full-scale judicially ordered independent prosecution of the crimes committed seems to be in the works. This prosecution may not even

In a story initially and doggedly pursued by former Breitbart News reporter Lee Stranahan, Jesse Benton has resigned as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign manager, "citing potential distractions over renewed attention to a scandal from the Iowa 2012 caucuses." At issue is Benton´s possible involvement in a vote buying scandal dating back to the 2012 Iowa Caucus during which Benton, a long-time Paul family associate, ran Ron Paul´s campaign. Days ago, former Iowa GOP state lawmaker Kent Sorenson "pleaded guilty to charges of accepting money to change his endorsement in 2012 from Michele Bachmann to Ron Paul."

Though the document focuses on the Texas-Mexico border, Breitbart Texas has confirmed that federal agents across the entire US-Mexico border have received the ISIS terror warning. The document was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety and warned that ISIS was actively promoting and encouraging supporters to take advantage of the porous Texas-Mexico border to carry out terrorist attacks against US citizens. The document attributed the increased interest by ISIS to a report done by journalist James

We still don’t have all the facts about happened in Ferguson, but we can already draw one big lesson. Clearly, something tragic happened during the confrontation on the street that day that left a young man dead and a community in chaos. Certainly, our hearts go out to the family and we can all hope that the investigation into what happened will be swift, thorough and fair to all parties. Already, of course, the shooting of Michael Brown has sparked a much bigger debate on a range of topics, from the state of civil rights in America and community policing methods to the growing militarization of local police forces.

Democrat Michelle Nunn is running ahead of David Perdue in the race for the U.S. Senate in Georgia. The WSB-TV poll found that Mrs. Nunn has 47 percent to 40 percent edge over Mr. Perdue. The libertarian candidate, Amanda Swafford, received 3 percent, and 10 percent of the respondents were undecided. The winner of the race will replace retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss. Mrs. Nunn, the daughter of former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, is seen as one of Democrats best bets to flip control of a GOP-held seat. Republicans need to flip six seats to win back the Senate.

In August 2012, James Foley retweeted a link to a CNN story asking “Right-wing extremist terrorism as deadly a threat as al Qaeda?” The article concluded that indeed it was. Three months later, Foley had been kidnapped. Two years later, on another August, a former branch of Al Qaeda chopped off his head. In a New Yorker interview this year, which seemed to focus on the Lakers more than anything else, Obama wrote off ISIS as what happens when a “jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms”. He suggested that the answer lay in training the Iraqi police forces better.

Their victims are overwhelmingly Muslim, and no faith teaches people to massacre innocents. No just God would stand for what they did yesterday, and for what they do every single day.” Over at the New York Post, a columnist rightly took the president to task by saying, “You can’t divorce the Islamic State from religion.” Unfortunately, the column is
