The presidents of Liberia and Sierra Leone plan to skip President Barack Obama’s U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit next week to deal with the deadly Ebola virus in their countries, as a White House spokesman said the outbreak won’t affect the conference. “At this point, there are no plans in place to alter the schedule in any way,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said today of the three days of meetings planned in Washington.(Snip)The president of Guinea is still debating whether to attend the Washington conference, according to a State Department official who wasn’t authorized to comment publicly. This does not seem to be an optimum time for air travel from Africa to the United States. These heads of state may not be there but their high-level delegations and their entourages will be.

These presidents need some lessons in "cool" from the best president in recorded history; when the going gets tough, the tough hit the links, or the fundraising circuit, or the bathhouse.

Øvomit is so incredibly impotent that even leaders from third-world African countries find excuses not to meet with him.

Can you imagine any leader passing up a chance to talk to any of the previous US presidents for any reason? Seriously? They would meet with the president out of respect, fear, and knowing the US had the resources to help like no other country.

But now they know that Øvomit is so useless that they would rather deal with their problems alone and not waste the time with President Impotent. Wow, does that speak volumes or what?????

It appears the fulcrum of Turkish sensitivity and support for ISIS has been identified. The tipping point reached. As we previously outlined, the action of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan reflected a tacit alliance with the overall goals of ISIS. However, also as previously discussed, we anticipated a forced political shift as the Kurdish populations continued to be driven in greater numbers toward the Turkish borders. Our educated hunch was the quid-pro-quo (which led to the quiet release of the 49 Turkish hostages) included an acceptance by Erdogan to allow the Sunni jihadists, ISIS, a certain amount of, well, ‘Islamic

It’s a story nearly every grade-schooler knows: Every year, millions of monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalises in the northern United States and southern Canada. Past financial deals of Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and Obama trade czar Michael Froman could be dragged into the administration’s bid to jam retroactive taxes on corporations that set up tax-avoiding operations overseas. Critics of the administration’s plan to end so-called corporate “inversions” are looking at the investments that both Obama officials had in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven, before joining Team Obama. If corporations are going to lose their tax advantages retroactively under a plan hatched by Lew and top officials, they said, then maybe there is a way to also target them through legislative amendments. ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,
