Penelope Cruz Backpedals, Admits
Not an ´Expert´ on Middle East

Breitbart´s Big Hollywood, by Breitbart News

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/31/2014 11:05:28 AM

Penelope Cruz is worried her recent comments on the Israeli/Hamas conflict might be "misunderstood." So the Oscar winner issued an updated statement, according to Deadline.com, further explaining why she thought the Israeli government was committing "genocide" against the Palestinians. The actress admits she isn´t an expert on Middle Eastern affairs. I don’t want to be misunderstood on this important subject,” she said. “I’m not an expert on the situation and I’m aware of the complexity of it. My only wish and intention in signing that group letter is the hope that there will be peace in both Israel and Gaza.

Comments:
The backlash must have been severe. She´s not an "expert?" Who knew? They never learn when to keep their mouths shut and further confirm their absolute ignorance.

In Hollyweird, if a conservative said something even remotely controversial, their career would be over forever.

But she is a brain dead lie-beral. So all she has to do is feign a little faux apology and all will be forgotten by the powers that be in a few days.

So no story here...

Problem is, their gestures are meaningful but not in the way they intend -- only as a glimpse of their true character.

You were nice to look at and Javier is a great actor, but I can´t abide bigots. So I won´t be going to any of your movies in the future.
The only reason you are clarifying your "intention" is because you realize there will be consequences. Sometimes its better to engage your brain before you pop the clutch on your mouth.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election.
