the United States? Yes and no.

A man boards a plane in Liberia with a slight fever. As the jet nears an airport in New York, his temperature rises; his throat grows sore. It´s the flu, he thinks after he lands, but he´s wrong. He´s caught the deadly Ebola virus. He soon dies of hemorrhagic fever while surrounded by family. Some of them catch it, and it´s like a flame hitting a fuse. The United States erupts in its first ever Ebola pandemic, as healthcare workers fight an uphill battle to contain it.Could what sounds like the plot of a Hollywood pestilence thriller really happen here? Well, yes and

I heard Fauci speak yesterday. He´s lying just like the rest of the 0bama crowd. Gupta is just reinforcing the lie because he´s one of them. The bottom line is we are not doing anything to prevent it from coming here. That Sawyer died in Africa before coming to the US was just dumb luck and timing. We will not be so lucky in the future.

Of course it could. Heck I bet it´s here already. No telling what has wandered in across the border.

I do feel empathy for these people, especially the children. And I honestly do not mind them coming, but I would insist they do it legally. How hard would it be to set up some sort of office or intake mechanism to identify everyone coming in and keep track of them. Those that break the law are out of here. The rest will immediately become tax payers, learn to speak English and support themselves. Probably cost less than the untold millions the current procedure is.

Obamacare´s Next Open Enrollment Starts
In Two Months - And It Will Be Awful
Forbes, by John R. Graham    Original Article

If there is one thing that the Administration and Democratic candidates have in their favor going into the mid-term elections, it is that election day is November 4, and Obamacare’s second open enrollment begins on November 15. If the dates were flipped, there is little doubt that voters affected by Obamacare would wreak havoc on the politicians who imposed the Rube Goldberg contraption of exchanges on them. Despite having just tossed another $60 million out the window “to help consumers navigate their health care coverage options in the Health Insurance Marketplace,” the Administration will likely face an even more bemused and

It’s official. Jimmy Carter is no longer the worst president in American history. The crown of shame has been passed from the former peanut farmer to our weak, lead-from-behind community organizer, whose lack of foreign policy experience and gravitas has come into full embarrassing display. And with ISIS on the march — and now threatening to assassinate Pope Francis — President Obama’s abysmal approval ratings have Democrats ducking for cover. A CBS News/New York Times poll released yesterday — which shows approval ratings for Obama’s foreign policy at a record low 34 percent, with a whopping 58 percent disapproving — delivered a

Giants quarterback Eli Manning mixed disgust Wednesday with a plea for NFL players to put an end to domestic violence for the good of children like Adrian Peterson’s beaten son and the league as a whole. “You hate to see a child being hurt. . . . You don’t like seeing those things or hearing about ’em,” Manning said to reporters. “Try to go home and hug your own children. It makes you want to hopefully not put them in harm’s way,” said Manning, who has two small girls, ages 1 and 3, with his wife, Abby. “We can’t accept that as players.

One of the first major scandals of the Obama administration may not get resolved until after Barack Obama leaves office — at least, if Eric Holder has anything to say about it. Politico’s Josh Gerstein reported last night on an effort by the Attorney General to keep the issue of executive privilege and Congressional subpoenas from resolution, even after a federal judge ordered Holder and the Department of Justice to submit documents to the House Oversight Committee. If successful, it might push the appeals process so far out that Obama will leave office before Congress can exercise its oversight responsibilities

The United States military is responding to yet another disaster. This time, it’s the deadly Ebola virus outbreak. In addition to fighting terrorists in North Africa and running a drone airport in the Horn of Africa, American soldiers, sailors and Marines will be deploying to the hard-hit countries of West Africa starting with a command-and-control center in Senegal, according to President Barack Obama. “The scenes we are witnessing are gut wrenching,” the president said Tuesday during remarks at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. “These men, women and children are just sitting, waiting to die. Australian counterterrorism forces detained 15 people Thursday in a series of suburban raids after receiving intelligence that the Islamic State movement was planning public beheadings in two Australian cities to demonstrate its reach. About 800 federal and state police officers raided more than a dozen properties across 12 Sydney suburbs as part of the operation -- the largest in Australian history, Australian Federal Police Deputy Commissioner Andrew Colvin told the Associated Press. Separate raids in the eastern cities of Brisbane and Logan were also conducted. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that the plan involved kidnapping randomly selected members of the public off

CAMP ZIOUANI, Golan Heights -- For four decades, a multinational United Nations mission has quietly monitored the sleepy Golan Heights - providing a symbol of stability between bitter enemies as it enforced a truce between Israel and Syria. But as Syria has plunged into civil war and the peacekeepers themselves have become targets of al-Qaida-linked rebels, the U.N. observer force has begun to fall apart, leaving its future - and the prospects for ever establishing peace in this rugged area of the Middle East - in doubt. Since Israel seized the Golan Heights from Syria in the 1967 Mideast war, a withdrawal

Hillary Clinton’s creepy “I’m baack" announcement in Iowa this weekend should be enough to scare any good Republican. Not only did it unwittingly recall the tagline from an actual horror movie — “Poltergeist II: The Other Side” — it was also a warning to anyone who thought the 90s were safely behind us. But for all the oxygen devoted to a potential Clinton run, and as inevitable as some Democrats think she is, all the wind is behind Republicans right now, not Democrats. And certainly not Democrats associated in any way with the Obama administration. Yes, it’s going to require some smart

The fireworks come in the last minute although I’ll be candid and confess I don’t really understand what the point of disagreement is. Hannity says we should secure the border; Gutierrez replies that securing the border won’t stop ISIS operatives, who are more likely to enter the U.S. through airports than by sneaking across from Mexico. Last week, two aircraft took off from an air base in western Russia, just east of the Russian city of Saratov. The aircraft, Tu-95 strategic bombers code-named Bear by NATO, flew northwest, skirting Iceland, Greenland, and Canada. Once beyond Canada, the two lumbering, propeller-driven bombers settled on a heading straight toward the United States. Their goal was a "launch box" off the coast of the U.S. from which, during wartime, they would fire nuclear-tipped cruise missiles towards American cities and military bases. The provocative flights were timed to a NATO summit, attended by President Obama, then taking place in Wales. On the

Many are recruited from the area´s large Somali population, but the recruits are not confined to Somalis. Douglas McCain, the first American killed fighting for ISIS, was also a Minnesota native. Election Lab puts Democrats´ chances of retaining their majority at 51 percent -- a huge change from even a few months ago when the model predicted that Republicans had a better than 80 percent chance of winning the six seats they need to take control. A village of just 1,000 residents in Switzerland has been forced to raise taxes because an African refugee and her seven children cost the local authority £40,000 in benefits every month. Hagenbuch, in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is understood to be spending close to a third of its total annual budget on the family after they arrived from Eritrea in East Africa three years ago. The massive benefits bill covers day-to-day living expenses such as groceries and cleaning costs, as well as paying for four of the woman´s children to be housed in an orphanage and even bills for
