Rogin: Rejection of Ceasefire ‘Nail in the

Washington Free Beacon, by Staff

The Daily Beast‘s national security reporter Josh Rogin said Tuesday that Israel’s overwhelming rejection of Secretary of State John Kerry’s ceasefire proposal was the “nail in the coffin” in his crumbling relationship with the Israeli government.Kerry angered Israelis even before this latest crisis by first telling a closed-door meeting of world leaders in April that Israel could potentially turn into an “apartheid” state if a two-state solution wasn’t reached, a story Rogin broke. Just last week, Kerry was caught on a hot mic mocking Israel’s claim to be conducting a “pinpoint operation” in Gaza. Now, as reported by Rogin and

Dumb as a post and pompous - and desperate and stubborn - a recipe for disaster. Poor Jean Fraud. No Nobel Peace Prize for him. And forget about 2016 or any other year.

Now there´s word he´s off to India to "reset" our relationship with them. Oh, boy...

UPDATE: Hamas just rejected Israel´s cease fire 4-hour offer, too.

As for Kerry´s relationship with Israel, Jews, Christians and conservatives everywhere, never did one man do so much to so many for so little bang for his alleged buck.

Can you imagine Bibi´s laughter at Kerry´s and Obama´s demands on the only nation in the world whose enemies have sworn to "wipe them off the map"? Is Bibi going to simply say, "Give it your best shot. Whatever...."? Or is he going in it to win it?

Kerry, like so many liberals, are dumber than dirt but really believe they´re brilliant.

John Kerry´s relations with everyone are in the coffin. Neither Kerry or Obama are the U.S., so Israel can be reassured on that score.

This looks like a job for a former Obama appointee, Kathleen Sibelius. She´s had 5 months to recuperate from her HHS job and more than enough time to learn where the countries are, which is more than most of Obama´s ambassadorial nominees can claim. Sibelius could launch a Web site so that Palestinians and Israelis could sign up for ObamaPeace, the service that falsely promises to reduce costs and improve diplomacy while deceiving the warring factions into thinking that they could keep their territories if they liked them.

Would be a win-win for Obama: SoS Sibelius would take the focus off of the ObamaCare disaster while forcing the Palestinians and Israelis to negotiate just to be rid of her.

Furthermore, Obama´s continued support of this guy bleeds the Kerry failure over onto the Administration, and thus America as a whole.

No one has considered Apple a serious data company, until now. For years, Apple has offered Internet services like email and online calendars. But Tuesday, with the introduction of health-monitoring technology and a new service that will allow people to buy things wirelessly with some Apple devices, the Cupertino, Calif., company positioned itself as a caretaker of valuable personal information, like credit card numbers and heart rates. (Snip)Against that background, Apple faces two threats to its new services: one from hackers always looking for clever ways to steal financial information, and another from regulators increasingly interested in ensuring that information gleaned

It really is quite amazing to watch how easily the people around Ferguson Missouri are manipulated by local members of the professional grievance community, and peer pressure. Dozens of residents proud to be arrested including some younger people. Yesterday they tried to block the Interstate (I-70) but were stopped by police and law enforcement. Of course the Saint Louis media is giddy with the confrontation(s) helping to sell newspapers and generate viewership. However, a review of the people at the center of the protests and you find they are almost the exact same people from the prior evening’s City Council Meeting

A former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Robert Mueller III, will lead a probe into the National Football League´s handling of former Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice´s domestic violence case, the league said on Wednesday. The announcement comes within hours of a report by the Associated Press that a law enforcement official sent a video to the league in April that showed Rice knocking out his then-fiancee in an elevator. The official wanted the NFL to have the video before deciding how to punish Rice, the agency said, adding that the official spoke on condition of anonymity.

The St. Louis County prosecutor’s office is taking an unusual approach with grand jury members who are weighing evidence against the police officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown last month, experts and county officials said. Instead of telling grand jury members what charges they believe police officer Darren Wilson should face, they are leaving it open-ended for now and involving the grand jury as co-investigators. The prosecutor’s office is also presenting evidence to the grand jury as soon as it receives it, rather than waiting until the St. Louis County Police Department and the FBI have completed their investigations.

As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. Rarely has a president faced a greater challenge in establishing his credibility for a new foreign-policy move than Barack Obama did in his nationally televised speech tonight. A CNN poll earlier this week found that just 30 percent of voters thought Obama had presented a clear plan for fighting the Islamic State.
