More bad luck for Hillary
American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

If she weren’t such a ruthless and pathological power-hungry phony, I would almost feel sorry for Hillary Rodham Clinton. It’s starting to look as though 2016 may be another election like 2008, in which the presumptive nominee runs into sheer bad luck that ends up derailing her plans. She never anticipated in 2008 that a young, untested, almost unknown freshman senator would trump her “historic first” woman president candidacy with the “historic first” black president strategy. This time around, the problem is slightly different, although a freshman senator who can meet (but not trump) the “historic first” appeal exists in the

Whether Hillary will or will not run is based on ONLY one thing: Whether or not the Demos continue to control the Senate.
She absolutely, positively cannot afford to have her agenda blocked at every turn because then Bill would be viewed as a stronger president. After all, this is all about revenge & power or she would be practicing law.
Years ago, Carville said that Hillary would only run if she was assured she would win. Obama blindsided her. If you think she was in uber-control mode then, just imagine what it´s like now. She needs the Senate. Period.

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people.

Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck.”

Like Obama, Hillary has little interest in doing the work of POTUS. She would love the legacy, prestige, glory and celebrity. If the job looks too risky for her real motive she won´t run. A second place holder in a row would have the mess created by the first along with that which will accumulate on their watch.

I doubt that any combination of incompetence, narcissism, arrogance, or elitism can overcome the sheer numbers of government-dependent low-info voters + vote fraud. Two things might allow us to avoid Hillary Doom. One is apathy among the low-infos. The other is open borders/amnesty. But the GOP establishment seems determined to squander its advantage on amnesty in order to pander to people who will never vote for a Republican.

Nations are much like living organisms. One fundamental function of life is to tell the difference between friends and foes. When a nation fails to do that it will soon die. For more than two centuries the United States has known how to tell friend from foe, because we’ve had a robust sense of identity -- we understood how “a nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal” would be tested over and over again, by enemies foreign and domestic, to see “whether any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure.” The West

The Ivanpah solar generating plant is located in California about 50 miles from Las Vegas near the California-Nevada border. 173,000 mirrors are used to concentrate the sun on 3 boiler-towers where water is turned into steam to drive turbines and generate electricity. Back then before he had a presidential track record, he was frequently pictured in the media with a halo. How times (and staff work) have changed! The Democratic Party and the mainstream media joined to run interference for Barack Obama when he became a national figure. Obama was painted as a charismatic, competent, new kind of politician. The passage of time destroyed this image. Now, the public increasingly sees Obama as incompetent, untrustworthy and unmotivated. Supporters are now in an awkward position. Do they continue to support what is increasingly seen as an inept president or do they turn against him? Continuing the subterfuge is dangerous. Lending credibility to an incredible man is a certain way to destroy one’s own validity. Obama, once considered a savior and asset

If we should be attacked by terrorists who come across our unprotected, undefended southern border, and should Americans die in any such attack, we would do well to understand for what those lives were lost. They would have been spent for the ability of illegal aliens to cast illegal votes for politicians doing illegal things. While both parties are to some degree to blame for the porousness of our southern border, the party that has the singular ability to solve the problem via the levers of government, the Democrats, is ensuring that the problem becomes so pervasive and vast that

Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. Check your hygiene privilege. Cabbies who smell badly are probably just oppressed folks who came directly from their terrorist training camp to the airport and didn’t have time to change. Body odour is among 52 criteria that officials at San Diego International Airport use to judge taxi drivers. Cabbies say that smacks of prejudice and discrimination. It does discriminate between cabbies who smell like an open sewer and those who don’t. It further prejudges what a good smell is.
