Gaza Continued: What Do
We Do About the UN?

PJ Media, by Roger L. Simon

Word came Tuesday that now a third UNRWA school in Gaza was housing rockets for Hamas. (How the missiles were never noticed before was unclear — maybe they were stacked beneath the erasers and paper clips or hidden under student spitballs.) From the Jerusalem Post: Christopher Gunness, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, did not name who was responsible for putting weapons in the school, but quickly criticized whoever was at fault. “We condemn the group or groups who endangered civilians by placing these munitions in our school. This is yet another flagrant violation of the neutrality of our

Israel probably knew (or at least suspected) the existence of the weaponry all along.

Another thought: why can´t our president step in and broker a peace agreement? After all, he´s a Nobel Laureate, having been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Fresh from his outstanding success of winning a Nobel Pease Prize for doing nothing, Emperor Zippy has continued that tradition with other aspects of his work. Like doing nothing about the border crisis and doing nothing about Syria and doing nothing about Russia (Itself of by its puppets) shooting down a civilian plan. And lets not forget doing nothing about Benghazi and doing nothing about Fast and Furious. Then there is always doing nothing about the Keystone pipeline. In fact, about the only thing he has had an active "hands on" part in doing was the laughably etitled "Afordable Care Act". And we all know how well that turned out!

Sorry for the rant. I got so carried away, I forgot to addess the article.

The UN is worse than useless. It is a toxic waste dump for our enemies to scheme together and plan the destruction of the United States. Worse, we pay for it! Think about all the little Central American children we could support with the money from the 25% funding we give to the UN.

Oh yeah, that was supposed to be the "Nobel Peace Prize" not the "Pease Prize".

I tell you what to do with the UN. Close it and kick them all out escorting them to the airport with only whatever they have on. Since New Yorkers are die hard rats, then turn the UN building into housing for "the children escaping prosecution" in Central America. Send the bill to De Blasio.

The most the UN should be empowered to do is act as a medium for nations to meet and discuss their problems. The UN should essentially be janitors in the building, because that is probably more than they are qualified for. They should never be permitted to manage money or ´programs´ where they field personnel. Every time they do, the worst characteristics of humanity emerge.

We have seen them refuse to protect people in danger, run prostitution rings, run drugs and now act as cover for terrorists.

Tell me: Really is there anything GOOD the UN does?

Obama´s enforcer resigns: Attorney
General Holder one of worst officials

Attorney General Eric Holder’s announcement Thursday that he is resigning, effective when his successor is confirmed, is welcome news. As John Fund and I outline in our recent book, “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department,” every time President Obama has broken, bent, ignored or changed the law, the person at his side advising him how to do it has been Eric Holder. Mr. Holder is also responsible for spearheading an unprecedented politicization of the Justice Department, which should be of great concern to anyone who cares about the rule of law and the impartial administration of justice.

Sarah Palin urges conservatives

When Pat Roberts faced a conservative primary challenge this summer, he did what most Republican senators have learned to do: turn hard right. Now, facing an unexpectedly strong independent challenge, Roberts is doubling down. On Thursday, the three-term Kansas senator turned to tea party darling Sarah Palin to rally voters behind his flagging campaign. The former Alaska governor praised Roberts for standing with Sen. Ted Cruz a year ago during his marathon floor speech against President Obama´s healthcare law, which preceded a strategy that resulted in a government shutdown. "He [was] one of the few senators fulfilling campaign promises, doing what

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, having decided for some inexplicable reason to do a long interview with a fashion magazine (maybe it is her celebrated collection of lace collars), reaffirmed the most important things we know about her: her partisanship, her elevation of politics over law, and her desire to see as many poor children killed as is feasibly possible. Speaking about such modest restrictions on abortion as have been enacted over the past several years, Justice Ginsburg lamented that “the impact of all these restrictions is on poor women.” Then she added: “It makes no sense as a national policy to promote

President Obama has put America at the center of a widening war by expanding into Syria airstrikes against the Islamic State, the Sunni extremist group known as ISIS and ISIL. He has done this without allowing the public debate that needs to take place before this nation enters another costly and potentially lengthy conflict in the Middle East. He says he has justification for taking military action against the Islamic State and Khorasan, another militant group. But his assertions have not been tested or examined by the people’s representatives in Congress. How are Americans to know whether they have the information

Scientists now report that 70 percent of infected patients are dying, up from 50 percent in previous reports. President Obama spoke very well, as he often does, when he went before the United Nations to address the slaughter by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. “No God condones this terror. No grievance justifies these actions. There can be no reasoning — no negotiation — with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force.” The president is right as rain about that, but am I the only one who thinks the president made a mistake by going to the United Nations before going to the US Congress? The only outlier according to RCP’s poll averaging is that open Michigan race between Democratic Congressman Gary Peters and former Republican Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land. Eric Holder Jr., the nation´s first black U.S. attorney general, is preparing to announce his resignation Thursday after a tumultuous tenure marked by civil rights advances, national security threats, reforms to the criminal justice system and five and a half years of fights with Republicans in Congress. Two sources familiar with the decision tell NPR that Holder, 63, intends to leave the Justice Department as soon as his successor is confirmed, a process that could run through 2014 and even into next year. A former U.S. government official says Holder has been increasingly "adamant" about his desire to leave soon
