Obama demands that Netanyahu
agree to cease-fire: Israeli TV

New York Post, by Bob Fredericks

President Obama demanded that Israel agree to a one-sided cease-fire during a heated phone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a report aired on Israeli TV Tuesday. Both leaders quickly denounced the purported transcript of their private discussion as fake. But the TV channel that obtained it, state-run Channel 1, stood by its account. In one bitter exchange, Obama declared that Qatar and Turkey — Hamas’ biggest international supporters — would mediate with the terrorists on Israel’s behalf, according to the TV channel. “I trust Qatar and Turkey. Israel is not in the position that it can choose its mediators,” the president

A bit of advice to the world: Never listen to anything Obama has to say. He is a complete and utter failure. Everything he touches results in chaos. He has an agenda that is destroying this country at an alarming rate and he is not finished with us by a long shot. He is not a friend to the West and or Israel and just may be its greatest enemy because he coddles and enables the barbarians at everyone´s gates. He can´t be trusted and don´t be fooled by the media, most Americans despise what he has done to this country and the world. He is not one of us.

More amateur diplomacy maladroitly displayed by the NIC. I can well imagine Bibi´s eyes rolling many times during this phone call, and much hilarity ensuing among him and his cabinet at its conclusion.

FTA: ´´The journalist who broadcast the report, Oren Nahari, is a Channel 1 veteran who said he got the transcript from a “senior” US official and insisted it was authentic.´´

and ´´“I demand that Israel agrees to an immediate, unilateral cease-fire and halt all offensive activities, in particular airstrikes,” Obama reportedly said...´´

Trust me, I´m NO fan of the Community Organizer in Chief, but I don´t believe any of this article. The obama minions trying to make him look tough? Don´t know, but I do believe this article is bull.

Dov Hykind, also from NYC, was on t.v. the other day, furious and truth telling. Bloomberg took a flight to Israel and came right back to prove a point. Others have spoken up. But where the H--- is Schumer?

Both Obama and Netanyahu claim the other is lying about the exchange between the two men. Which man, do you think, is more likely to lie?
Which man has a history of lying and getting caught in those lies?
Which man demands things of other people but never takes responsibility for what comes out of those demands?
Which man has Muslim sympathies? Which man has a reputation for Statesmanship?
Which man loves his own country?

I for one believe the Israeli TV account. Obama´s denials mean nothing and the Israeli denials are probably done for the sake of diplomacy. It sounds just like what Obama would do, expect Israel to sacrifice itself to Hamas so he could claim a diplomatic prize. He was given a peace prize for being an evident pacifist before he did anything and now we are all paying the price. Peace through surrender does not work anytime least of all with Hamas!

Don´t the Palestinians realize they may get some "collateral damage" in the course of an Iranian attach upon Israel? With Ebola making its way to the United States, people are rushing to find more information on the deadly disease. The Centers for Disease Control released a new chart on how contagious Ebola is compared to other diseases. The results may surprise you, according to IJReview. What you’re seeing is an evaluation of how contagious the Ebola virus actually is compared to previous epidemics, namely: Hepatitis C, HIV, SARS, Mumps, and Measles. As Michaeleen Doucleff reported, these little icons of pink and red people reflect the disease’s relative R0 or R(nought) scores. The red person is the disease carrier, and the pink people

Should we be worried about Ebola? That’s the question on the minds of many Americans given the first documented case on U.S. soil this week. And now there is a second possible case, someone having contact with Thomas Duncan, the first U.S. case of Ebola. Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reassures us, “I have no doubt that we’ll stop this in its tracks in the U.S.” President Obama also told us two weeks ago that “the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low.” Tell that to the 100 Texans who

Commencement speeches can be amusing, inspiring or, in the worst (some would say even the best) case, a bit dull. Schools tend to choose corporate CEOs, politicians and celebrities to send off the graduating class with a speech meant to give graduates a glimpse of what they can achieve if they work hard in the years that lie before them. Goddard College, a small liberal arts school in Plainfield, Vt., wanted a different kind of speaker. The graduating class chose a cop killer. A video recording was arranged so that Mumia Abu-Jamal could speak to the students from Mahanoy State Correctional

The U.S. economy added 248,000 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate dropped to 5.9 percent. But the labor force participation rate continued to fall, average hourly earnings seem frozen, and over 13 percent of workers are either out of work, involuntarily working part time or too discouraged to keep hunting for jobs, and 20 percent of teenagers are out of work. In short, two cheers for the latest report, but hold the champagne. Sales of new homes rose 18 percent in August from July, but sales of previously owned homes, 90 percent of all sales, fell 1.8 percent, and

It’s called dereliction of duty when one knowingly dismisses the faithful execution of his or her prescribed duties in fulfilling their responsibility. I said so Monday evening with Greta von Susteren, and will continue to do so. And if anything represents “high crimes and misdemeanors” it’s the dereliction of duty that has resulted in the deaths of Americans – by beheadings. Furthermore, it is a dereliction of duty that has placed the national security of the United States of America at risk. Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good
