The Republican head of the Benghazi Select Committee warned Tuesday that no witnesses would be off limits in its upcoming probe and that he would consider going to court, if necessary, to compel testimony. "I can´t skip over a witness that I think we ought to talk to simply because there is an assertion of either privilege or immunity,"Chairman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina told Fox News in an exclusive interview. He said that while he has received good cooperation to date, and the issue had not yet arisen, "if you mean to say that ´not only can they not talk, they

Below is a link to a video interview of Andrew McCarthy done on Fox. He had an interesting comment I had not heard him say before. He said to expand the jurisdiction of this special committee to include the IRS scandal. Now that would be a beautiful thing!!

Call Hillary first. Get her to answer ´under oath´ everything you need to know. If she goes last she´ll have plenty of time to talk her way around everyone else´s testimony.

If and when called, Hillary will fake illness, fall down again and have a concussion and wear beer-goggle glasses. Or more likely use her proverbial ploy: release a welter of I don´t recall, I have no specific recollection of that, I don´t know, I´ll have to get back to you on that, I can´t recall etc., etc. After that appearance, her lack of responsibility for the Benghazi debacle will become "settled science" and "old news" and we can just "move on".

While I would love to see every person have to speak to the panel under oath on TV, I agree that so much more information can be distracted from those not wanting to make a mistake like hillary did. Trey is doing this right. And the dems are cooperating, because they know the TVs arent there to make it a show. Getting the facts is the purpose, not getting political points. The facts are going to place the blame right where we all knew it to be 12 hrs after it happened. Then in September there will be an all out showdown for us all to see. Go Gowdy!

The biggest foe Mr. Gowdy will face is the media. I have no doubt he can handle any witness that comes before him. It will be the snake in the grass media who will spin every word in the democrat´s favor. Look for nightly parodies from Stewart and Kimmel. Ridicule is a powerful weapon and libs are masters at it. They can´t allow the truth to gain a foothold.

How to assess Eric Holder’s record and legacy as attorney general? Let’s start with what should be an obvious proposition: Holder’s policies and approach to the job were consistent with the person who appointed him — Barack Obama. Lest Republicans forget, Obama was elected and reelected to the presidency by large margins in 2008 and 2012. First, congressional accusations against Holder on the controversial “Fast and Furious” “gun walking” program have been proven factually wrong. According to a thorough review by the independent inspector general of the Department of Justice, Holder did not know about this program until Jan. 31,

Instead, he funneled portions of the proceeds into bank accounts he controlled, netting himself $843,000 in the process.
