Krauthammer: Impending White
House Amnesty Order ‘Would Be
An Impeachable Offense’

Daily Caller, by Brendan Bordelon

Original Article

Like many on the right, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer is politically opposed to impeaching President Barack Obama. But on Tuesday, he declared that legally, the rumored White House order granting amnesty to as many as 6 million illegal immigrants “would be an impeachable offense” — and Obama’s talk of impeachment may be a way to preempt that pushback. Krauthammer spoke with Fox News’s Bret Baier on a panel with The Hill’s A.B. Stoddard and Fox News contributor Juan Williams. The group discussed the impeachment buzz swirling around Washington, which most observers agree is being ginned up by Democrats eager for

Every single Un-Constituional act that Obama performs is an impeachable offense. The problem is virtually no ones understands this is the case. That is exactly what high crimes and misdemeanors represents on a Presidential level.

Somebody give me a reason why we should vote for Boehner, McConnell and the rest of the RINOs.

The Karl gang of ugly will tell us that if Republicans win the Senate then Obama will be impeached. Sorry, no sale!

Guess we now know where Dr. K stands. BFF,Georgie, must not have given him the memo.

Would something such as this force John B to change his mind about impeachment?

Impeachment=one thing. The hurdle, is getting the jug-ears out of the office. November is due months after summer ends and there may not be much time, even if the Senate were taken by the Dem-lites (elite GOPE)

Once those barn doors are open there will be no getting the animals back in. Much like toothpaste and the dilemma of getting it back in the tube.

To think these men (a term broadly used)would consider this a reasonable act is nothing more than amazing. The fact that those voters are still out there and will vote in countless elections gives headaches, heart burn and high blood pressure.

Now, where is our restitution? We´ll not sit idly by; or will we?

JUst think...if they could get impeachment proceedings completed before the November election, that would give Biden the jolly roger seat, and the bully pulpit for two years. He would likely take office just after the start of Øbama´s expected last 24 months, giving him the right to hold office for two full terms plus the 23.9 months. He would be a sitting President with fully election campaigning privileges of the office and a war chest of, quite probably, billions. So, if Øbama really is sick and tired of it all (which I seriously doubt...he has no conscience!)the correct move for the Dems is to quickly complete the impeachment conviction ,or more likely, the "preemptive resignation al la Nixon so that Uncle Joe can be in office at exactly the right time...what if he picked Hitlery for the Veep? Then he resigns (though he would not)...a sure way to keep the activist liberals in office and give them plenty of time to utterly achieve their final solution for the people of the U.S. Before they were through, they would have a Constitution burning ceremony on the steps of the Capitol Building.

Impeachment would be a Pyrrhic victory. Cut funding, get both Houses back, do anything but impeach. Not since Joan of Arc would there be such a martyr as Obama!

Sorry to continue but tie Obama up in the courts. Can’t the states refuse to acknowledge the DACA law and not provide the illegal alien children with schooling, benefits, etc? Protest, civil disobedience, states’ rights, anything but impeachment. Don’t give the Democrats the biggest favor ever.

Washington is just creating another crisis it can exploit, to the detriment of the rest of us. Rahm Emmanuel´s dictum.
The leadership R´s support amnesty too, so all this impeachment talk is just a further ruse, more of the circuses.
How the African-American leadership still goes along with all this President and his administration does, just goes to show how bought and paid for they are. Martin and Malcolm are rolling over in their graves. Who´d have thought the first African-American President along with his African-American enablers could sell out his people so thoroughly. I wonder how many realize how badly they´ve been duped...

Raise your hand if you have done anything but type and gripe. It is so easy to call Washington without waiting.

The House needs to defund Zippy and tell him where to put his pen.

# 7 That vote is Thursday morning in the House.

Dr. K. said it would be an impeachable offense. But he also said the repubicans should not impeach him b/c it would not be good politics. Dr. K throws this red meat at the conservatives but protects 0bama. Then they give lip service to this stupid lawsuit of Boener´s. That suit is a lose lose. It provides cover for the anti-conservative repubicans, keeps Obama from being impeached, and will most like fail. Then Obama will say, "see, the Courts say I was right and the repubicans were wrong and hate me b/c of racism. Even if the suit goes forward and they win, it will not be done before his term ends. And it is not the Constitutional solution to a rogue president, impeachment is.

Republicans should tell their Democrat colleagues and their RAT infested media whores that if impeachment is such a great idea, the Democrats should introduce such a resolution.

I´m sure that with strong Democrat support, the Republicans will act in a bi-partisan manner.

Until then, see you in court.

What Obama is trying to do is set a precedent by means of intimidation, the new arbitrary "rule of law" being: Democrats may not be impeached, no matter what their behaviour. The current excuse is Obama´s skin color; next, it will be Hillary´s gender (whatever that may be), and on down the line; but the real reason being that their "caring" and "compassion" puts them literally beyond the reach of the law. This, of course, can never apply to Republicans since Republicans do not "care" like Democrats do. So, impeachment forever off the table for the lawless Left, and a now utterly castrated GOP hands them its cojones on a silver platter.

Don´t impeach...humiliate. There must be someone, somewhere, who can shed light on obozo´s past. Find conclusive evidence he received aid as a foreign student or traveled to "Pahkeestan" on an Indonesian passport. Show him to be the fraud we know him to be and the dems will toss him overboard themselves. The Clintons will be so anxious to separate themselves so PIAPS can run they will do the deed for us.

#3, those who are against impeachment now are still against impeachment when the GOP takes the Senate. Impeachment is a distraction, a waste of time and effort and, in the end, will not get Obama removed from office. All that could be accomplished would be to give the president and his media sycophants "proof" that the GOP is racist. So, goodbye 2016 victory.

Give it up.

"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing - after they´ve tried everything else." - Winston Churchill

The Framers told us what to do. Impeachment was provided for just this situation - but have fun, folks, trying everything else.

For those who believe as I do, the right thing for us to do is to see to it that Boehner, McConnell, and a few others are removed from office this NOvember. If that means that the Pubs fail to regain the Senate, it will send a message that they will long remember. If it triggers a chain of events that ultimately replaces the GOP with a new party, it will be a message that history long remembers. Of course, the apologists will blame us - but it will be their political "heroes" who will be to blame. Actions (or lack of actions) have consequences.

HERE IS THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS - Tell me the odds of any of this stopping Obama:

The Impeachment Process
---------------------------------
In the House of Representatives

* The House Judiciary Committee decides whether or not to proceed with impeachment. If they do...

* The Chairman of the Judiciary Committee will propose a Resolution calling for the Judiciary Committee to begin a formal inquiry into the issue of impeachment.

* Based on their inquiry, the Judiciary Committee will send another Resolution to the full House stating that impeachment is warranted and why (the Articles of Impeachment), or that impeachment is not called for.

* The Full House (probably operating under special floor rules set by the House Rules Committee) will debate and vote on each Article of Impeachment.

* Should any one of the Articles of Impeachment be approved by a simple majority vote, the President will be "impeached." However, being impeached is sort of like being indicted of a crime. There still has to be a trial, which is where the US Senate comes in.

In the Senate

* The Articles of Impeachment are received from the House.

* The Senate formulates rules and procedures for holding a trial.

* A trial will be held. The President will be represented by his lawyers. A select group of House members will serve as "prosecutors." The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (currently John G. Roberts) will preside with all 100 Senators acting as the jury.

* The Senate will meet in private session to debate a verdict.

* The Senate, in open session, will vote on a verdict. A 2/3 vote of the Senate will result in a conviction.

* The Senate will vote to remove the President from office.

* The Senate may also vote (by a simple majority) to prohibit the President from holding any public office in the future.

The ONLY way I see out of this is if someone lets out incontrovertible evidence that 0 was never legally electable, and commited massive fraud by running. Then he could be arrested, removed from office on a charge of treason, and hopefully dealt with in the correct manner. Alternatively, clear evidence of current treasonous activity...of which there are probably abundant examples, re: Russia, the Caliphate, Red China etc. etc.

I´ll "tell you", #17: conviction and physical removal are not necessary. This is a political process. It will place the "bill of particulars" front and center before the public this NOvember and more importantly in 2016. The media will not be able to ignore it. Every move the Emperor makes will be under intense public scrutiny, and will make headlines "above the fold". Starting November 8th (actually sooner), everything will be about winning in 2016 for the Democrats. As a result, they will be under intense political pressure to rein in their "Won" if they want any chance of winning.

The political consequences of not impeaching this dictator will be even more dire for the Democrats - and everyone else. We might not even have an election in 2016. It´s that serious.

#15: Another quote from Churchill: "Never, never, never give up."

Impeach Zippy, and say good-bye to the Senate and probably even the House in November, and say hello to President Elizabeth Warren in 2016. Have you seen the numbers of $$$ the Dems are raising, just by telling the morons in their base that the GOP is clamoring for impeachment? They are outright lying, but they are basing their mid-term election hopes on scaring their lo-fo base.

They have discovered their winning strategy. This is just like 2012. Zippy couldn´t run on his record, so he ran by trashing Romney and scarng seniors, minorities, etc.

Don´t play into their hands!

(BTW, questions for everyone who sat out the 2012 election because Romney wasn´t a "true conservative:" Do you think Romney would be doing the things Zippy is? Are you happier with Zippy as POTUS than you would have been with Romney?)

As it is written---"Where there´s a will, there´s a way."

If The United States of America, the greatest nation in recorded history, can put a man on the moon in July, 1969, certainly it can find the will and the way to "evict" an undocumented hoodlum, from Jakarta, Indonesia, from "public housing" at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, forty-five years later.

I am against impeachment because our side does not have the stomach for it or the moral clarity that it would require, but most of all they have zero communication skills to educate the public as to why it is the right thing to do. They are timid and weak. I have lost all confidence in the Republican leadership. They have failed this country. Until Republicans understand they must win in the court of public opinion, they will remain without options.

Obama and his administration are master manipulators of the truth and they do not fear exposure. They have the narrative and they will not give that up. If the Republicans were savvy, they would make a joke out of Obama´s obsession with impeachment. However, the Republicans´s talent seem to be producing racists ads against members of their own party to save the seat of one of their cronies because they could not bear to have a conservative win that seat. With thinking like that, this party has already lost whatever moral authority, if any, it ever had.

Impeachment is a gift to Obama. The democrats proved that with Clinton. They managed to turn that into a win for Clinton. He is more popular now that I believe he would have been. His wife is considering a run for the Presidency and he will be seen as an asset in her campaign. Impeachment of Obama would be to push him in to the sphere of a MLK. He would wear it as a badge of honor. Frankly, there are no good options. Looks like the Republican brain trust is bankrupt of ideas. They got played by a community organizer.

Without control of the Senate all of Captain Zero’s impeachable offenses can not be touched. With control of the Senate (in our dreams) we would need to worry about all our RINOS. I believe Captain Zero will continue to taunt his opposition with ever more severity, knowing they are likely to do what they done so far- nothing.

I am for impeachment, not because it would get Obama removed, but because it would enforce the constitution of the U.S. and make clear that violations will not be tolerated. And because I would rather spend the next 2 years talking about anything but Obama´s agenda, all of which is dead on arrival. If things cannot be done in accordance with the constitution, then do nothing, lock it down.

Exactly Poster #25 - The Republican leadership (the RNC and Prience, Boehner, McConnell, Scalise, McCarthy, et al) cannot even articulate successfully Republican positions to their so-called natural constituency, Hispanics, so how are they going to convince the rest of the country?

It´s only "bad politics" when the target is a Dem of color. Oh sure, Obama´s executive orders can be overturned by a successor but do you really think the Dems would allow that? When was the last time any EO was overtuned?

The fundamental transformation of this country is more than policy changes like the illegals, coal plants, etc. It´s the transformation of a republic with a two party system to a one party system. There is no more of a loyal opposition. They´ve been subsumed by their own hunger for power and money. We no longer have a representative government. For all intents and purposes, our voices have been silenced and our votes have become worthless.

It is interesting to note that so many posts against impeachment make their argument from the perspective of what it means for the GOP instead of what is good for the country. Amazing. With supporters like that, no wonder the GOP leadership is so spineless.

If it is going to stop Obama, it is worth it. It would put doubt into future presidents´ minds (Clinton, Warren, Romney, Bush, pick you favorite scenario) about how much power they really wield. If not, keep impeaching each one until we get one that follows the Constitution. Let the Dems raise their money. Are you really so afraid to fight for what you believe?

If the country really is so far left that it would follow Obama with another Dem leftist after all we have already lived through, then the country has bigger problems, and is lost.

I am not falling for the scare tactic Chicken Little scenarios, especially from a GOP Establishment cheerleader. If Boehner is not going to impeach, he better get his tail in gear and DO something to stop this lunatic.

Even IF he were impeached, it would take Years to get to the end of all the hearings and nonsense. The above posters are right.. its all we need now to lose it all well beyond this loser.

There has to be be someone somewhere that can suggest a way out of the amnesty threat. Can the governors not refuse all these illegals since they are the ones that have to care for them?? Of course, the carrot for the states in such financial ruin will take them just to get the funds from the Fed (us).

#6 is bang on target. oblamer is doing this intentionally, WANTING to lure the stupid party into impeaching him. The DNC is already raising tons of money by touting their own rumors of impending impeachment of the King.

If the "leaders" of the stupid party had any sense they would just use oblamer´s clearly illegal tactics against him as campaign fodder. Then if they retake the senate they could do what they wanted and force him to veto everything they pass.

But I´m not going to hold my breath waiting for the linguini spine pubbies to do anything of the sort.

Discipline is required. Don´t pull the trigger too early and wait until the Dems suffer a midterm blood bath. Then start talking impeachment. Once Reid can´t protect the messiah in the Senate, and other Dems fear losing their seat in 2016, it would be a more opportune time.

No, I want the 53% of our fellow citizens who voted for this self-appointed imitation of Louis XIV to stew in the acidic juices of their own choice at the voting booth. The real reason that the Democrats are playing the Impeachment card is to divert attention from the political harm the Immigration invasion has caused all Democrats. They want the Impeachment trial now to divert attention from the complete mess that Obama has made throughout this country and whole world.

If Republicans stop playing coward ball and run the mid term elections pounding away at the Illegal Immigration issue, they could win big majorities in Congress. Play to win for a change, not to cut your supposed losses as usual. The Man is a Traitor, or don´t you care.

Amnesty is impossible when our elected representatives refuse to act. And each year those representatives pile on with new laws, and their agencies churn out more regulation with which to control us. Meanwhile, that same government trains ´police´, who were originally ´Peace Officers´, to attack and intimidate fellow citizens.

Each and every one of us are so surrounded by law and regulation that none are truly innocent of violation and those we trusted to protect constantly seek to find excuses to harass and imprison us - predators, not protectors.

I am reminded that in his oldest incarnation, the Devil was not a tempter, but an accuser. He held up to God all of the violations a soul had committed, any one of which would result in damnation. Some say it was his choice to tempt others into evil that separated him from God, and for this offense he was cast out of heaven.

It is time that we cast out those holding to this same ideology.

So many make negative assumptions about events, way out in the future, that is speculative at best, in exercising defense of our beloved nation. No guts, no glory. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The Democrats might try to claim Obama will be impeached if they don´t get out vote in Nov, keep the Senate but it probably won´t work. Remember what the dems are so obviously aware of: voters have a very short memory election to election. To avoid talk of impeaching Obama under pretense of 2016 ramifications is getting a little ahead of ourselves. It also does not matter if Obama is martyred, as #17 mentions if impeached he can´t hold office again-a BIG plus.

One aspect to consider is this: Would Biden continue Obama´s same agenda if he replaced him? No way to know for sure but Biden IS an American and would be a better bet for not being out to do us all in, screw us over like Obama. One thing Biden did that surprised me was recommend a Bush-prodigy-leader be put back in power in Iraq-highly unexpected from Bush-hating Democrats.

No impeachment! The democrats would turn it around and make Obama into a sympathetic figure. A victim. Racist America impeaching the first black president.

Better to spend the next two years forcing the democrats to eat every offense he commits. Make it a two-year conversation: "There he goes! ANOTHER impeachable offense." Or maybe "Which is the WORST impeachable offense committed by Obama?" Make this the dominant political conversation for the remainder of Obama´s term. Make the democrats run on THAT in 2016.

Instead of impeachment why not pass a resolution through Congress that every EO made by this punk in the last four years is Null and Void? Put his actions through trial and then just declare him non-effective? He could be declared the elected President but a place holder only and the laws he tried to foist on us not worth our inclusion in our representative republic?

Now we see what happens when the media supports the efforts of a dictator president. Together they ham string everyone. A truly free press would have a constant drum beat that the POTUS was acting like a king, abusing power, etc. But they support him.

Never mind impeachment as that will take way too long. If Obama "frees" the illegals and makes them citizens we will never be able to undo that move. Like opening a jar of lady bugs, they´ll be off and gone and you will never get them back into the bottle. No, Obama must be headed off at the pass FIRST!

Pass a rule in the House --- now, John B., not when you feel like it --- that any EO concerning illegals will mean not a penny for welfare or food stamps for anyone! When those on the public dole for years realize their gravy train just got derailed, they´ll make Obama think twice.

We are in a corner and the best way to stop him is shut off everything to the WH except gas and electric.

Republicans have 45 seats in the Senate now.
The most optimistic number is that Republicans
gain 6 seats in November.
51 seats is not enough to convict
and remove Obama in the Senate.
It will take an additional 15 Democrat Senators.
Other than Sarah Palin , does anyone seriously think the likes of Elizabeth Warren, Chuck Schumer,
Carl Levin, Dick Durbin , Barbara Boxer ,
Diane Feinstein , Al Franken, Sherrod Brown ,
Pat Leahy , Ed Markey ,Bob Menendez
and the rest of the liberal
Senate Democrats would vote to remove Obama ????
Impeachment without any possibility of removal is ridiculous.
It only strengthens Barry and the Democrats.
Barry would emerge as the conquering Hero for having defeated the Republicans.
FDR issued an Executive Order that rounded up Japanese Americans and visiting Japanese and put them in internment camps.
Eisenhower issued Executive Orders which sent federal troops to help desegregate Southern high schools.
After Vietnam ,Jimmy Carter pardoned draft dodgers.
Barry may have precedence to legalize aliens.

Impeachment is just another Commie straw man.

We should remind our compatriots that the invasion of illegal aliens lowers wages. Illegals will compete for welfare and FoodStamps with the African-Americans that depend on them. Each new uneducated Central American that joins our public schools will lower the education of your own children. Once they grow up these Illegal Alien Dreamers are given the same Minority Affirmative Action preferences as African-Americans.

Most Americans can understand such argument. Vote Republican so that the Progressive Democrats do not transform our Country into a third-world nation.

It´s become a gray day when this country no longer has a 2 party system. And we don´t. All we seem to have is someone who believes that a seat in the government is supposed to be a life time event and that they should be the ones that are in charge. And they fight tooth and nail to keep what they have.

Now, one thing that needs to be done is to get money out of elections. And that has to start with repeal of the 17th amendment. And that would be a world shattering event if it could be achieved.

Given the makeup of the current political parties, there doesn´t seem to be any political solution for all the problems this nation faces. So, that really leaves only ONE solution left. And that is that the citizens will have to take matters into their own hands. After all, this nation was begun with the idea that the people govern it, so lets begin to retake what was given to us and begin all over again after we correct those things that have cause us to get to the point we are.

The only way impeachment makes sense is if there is a reasonably good chance of removing Obama from office. Every Democrap senator voted not guilty on both of Clinton´s articles of impeachment, and many of the Republicans (whose identities would not surprise you) did the same on one or both articles.

Even if the Pubbies take the Senate in November, it´s naive to believe, collectively speaking, that they would have the stomach to convict. We have to wage war with the army we have, and the impeachment arrow is nowhere to be found in this army´s quiver.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller. The announcement that he would delay his immigration initiative until after the election and his formal announcement that the United States would take military action against the Islamic State could have been coerced. Maybe Democratic leaders in Congress and a few members of the Obama team have had it. Could it be that, after President Obama briefed Democrats in Congress on the immigration plan, they balked?
