ABC´s Harris Falsely Hits Sarah
Palin as the ´Woman Who Says
She Can See Russia from Her House´

Media Research Center, by Scott Whitlock

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/29/2014 6:35:17 PM

Nightline co-anchor Dan Harris on Monday night mocked Sarah Palin for her new internet channel and falsely identified the conservative as "the woman who says she can see Russia from her house." [MP3 audio here.] No, she didn´t. It was Saturday Night Live´s Tina Fey in 2008 who uttered this line. In the tease for the report, Harris played the actual quote: "You can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska." So what is the point of misleading viewers with something Palin didn´t say? Making his contempt clear, Harris derided the Republican as the "former half-term governor of Alaska."
Please capitalize sources.

Comments:
Sarah´s channel is only 99 cents more than Amazon Prime. And if he doesn´t like Sarah or her channel - why does the price even matter? Reminds me of a line from a Woody Allen film. The food here is terrible, and the portions are too small.

Dan wrote a book, "10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Really Works — a True Story,".

Dan is obviously still having difficulty taming one voice in his head.

And they continue to call people on the right "haters"! Sarah Palin has never gotten a fair shake from the MSM but would have been the best choice of anyone one the tickets in 2008 - certainly more qualified than McCain and Biden - and infinitely more than the worst President in history. Common sense scares the left.

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.

Domestic violence, also known as intimate partner violence, is defined as the physical, sexual or psychological harm caused by the current or former intimate partner. Since the 1970s, concern regarding the issue began in response to the women´s movement. Most of the traditional studies looked at the abuse women faced from men in heterosexual relationships. But, the latest study by Northwestern Medicine scientists found that domestic violence is more common among same-sex couples and excess stress raises the risk of this abuse.
