Washington is desperate for
Republicans to impeach Obama

Hot Air, by Noah Rothman

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 7/29/2014 1:35:19 PM

Quite unlike six years ago, President Barack Obama has become a liability for his fellow Democrats running for federal office. Surveys have consistently shown that the GOP is well positioned to take back at least three of the six seats they need to regain control over the Senate and reduce Obama’s final two years in office to a series of vetoes. In another five seats, Republican candidates remain competitive. The president is no longer energizing his unique coalition of voters. This year, they are staying home. Democrats are desperate to reawaken those young, single, women, and minority voters and get them back

Comments:
You know the old tale about brier patches. Republicans should stay the heck away from that tactic.

Maybe I´m just not as strategically astute as others, so let me see if I have this right. A serial killer wants to be arrested for the attention, so we should not arrest him and allow him to continue killing so he doesn´t get the attention. Yeah. Thatt´l teach him.

Forget the "mind games" from the Dems and the GOP elites. The Framers told us what to do:

It´s in the Constitution.

Just do it. Let the politics take care of itself.

It beats going down as the ´worst president in living memory.´

Focus on the war not the battle. A scorched earth policy is necessary at times, a tactical withdrawal, and we must use similar discretion when it comes to impeachment.

Whenever a Republican is asked about impeachment they should ask the interviewer AKA Dem operative, "on what grounds would we impeach this president?" After the inevitable hemming and hawing they need to say, "you brought it up, I´m asking you what grounds congress would use to impeach him?"

It´s a win/win. If they can´t answer that, then they admit it´s a fundraising tactic for the left. If they can then you´re actually talking about the incredible lawlessness of this administration.

NO IMPEACHMENT!! Gullible Americans voted for this crap sandwich. They should be forced to eat every last bite along with the rest of us. Impeachment only lets him play victim. Make him finish out the second term he ran for. Make him veto an Obamacare repeal bill passed by a Republican House and Senate in 2015. Make him refuse to enforce streamlined deportation legislation passed by a Republican House and Senate in 2015. Make him face up to every lie he has told. No easy outs or distractions from an impeachment circus. Make him stand there and take the wrath of those he liked to and who believed him. And make them live with their humiliation for the full term.

The GOP needs to stick to the words of a Kenny Rodgers song: "You got to know when to hold, know when to fold, know when to walk away, know when to run."

Impeachment is political suicide. It would be Clinton Redux to the 1,000th power. Does Obama deserve it? Sure. But he and his ilk would just use it to bash the GOP just as the GOP is starting to resonate with voters.

Obama and company are imploding. Let them do it. Contain them. Watch them. Step out of the way. Let America see them in all their naked ugliness.

Impeachment would just block the view and serve no purpose -- except Obama´s. Obama wants a distraction. I don´t want to give it to him.

does anyone recall those words?
It appears that no one, particularly those whose entire being seems to be consumed in political machinations is familiar with them.
Sarah Palin´s question of last week is appropriate, and being ignored. If this bum, this traitorous creep, is not deserving of impeachment and removal, then what president could be?
It might not be successful, but we don´t know that. Were the fighters at Thermopylae or the Alamo successful? What we do know, is that those who are openly refusing to do their sworn duties to their positions of public trust, are as guilty as he is. A plague and a pox upon the lot of them, and may history forget that they were ever our countrymen. Cowards and poltroons, all of them.

If you want to know why the American public has such a dim view of lawyers, you should read an opinion issued last month by the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Williams v. BASF. According to the plaintiffs, who have depositions and document evidence to back their accusations, Cahill and its former client, a BASF predecessor, systematically hid and destroyed evidence

ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,
