GOP Impeachment Chatter Hands
Democrats $1 Million Fundraising Day

Mediaite, by Evan McMurry

Original Article

Talk of impeaching President Barack Obama, which gained steam when Sarah Palin gave voice to it three weeks ago, has started reaping dividends for the Democrats. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair Steve Israel (D-NY) said Tuesday that Republican musing about impeachment and House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) planned lawsuit against Obama over the delaying of the ACA individual mandate had compelled Democratic voters to donate. According to Israel, the DCCC raised $1 million on Monday alone:

Comments:
The Democrats are so sick and evil they make a mockery of the lawlessness of the Marxist tyrant Obama. All the while Obama proudly flaunts his lawlessness and sticks his finger in the eye of every American.

It was Sarah Palin who handed them this weapon with her call for impeachment in Breitbart on July 8--and her continuing calls for impeachment since then.

Obama isn´t going to be impeached and if the Republicans try it will kill the party for years. It would be hard to prove, "high crimes and misdemeanors" plus you can forget getting the Senate to go along. All this talk does is give the dems a great tool to raise money.

I understand the call but reality must come into play sometime.

Until the Republicans know for certain that they have the votes in both the House and the Senate to remove Obama from office they should shut up about impeachment and concentrate on winning the midterm election in November.

Look for the liberal media when they are interviewing Republican candidates to begin asking them questions about impeachment, hoping that they will give goofy answers that will, when reported, hype up the Democrat vote and cause them to lose their election, just as they did with the idiot from Missouri who blurted out how he thought that woman´s bodies respond to rape.

Even if the Republicans somehow impeach Obama and remove him from office, they will end up with Biden, thus giving Biden a head start to the Democrat nomination for the 2016 election.

Republicans need to pick 2 - 3 issues and pound them, over and over. Decline to answer questions on anything else.
Have a meeting, agree on the issues to be pushed, present a united front.
Newt did it with his Contract for America.
Just find the issues, and climb out from under your desks, get OUT and fight.

Poster 2, Susannah, do you honestly believe that Obama needed Sarah Palin in order to start this impeachment smokescreen? Obama, Val Jarrett, Pfeiffer (he´s Bob Haldeman´s clone) and their ilk would have made up an impeachment story because Obama´s truly mad policies can no longer be covered by lies and a protective press. Obama knows that he should be impeached for his gross corruption of the IRS, his fraudulent Energy Dept "investments" and much more, so he has to have people like you blame a private citizen for voicing the obvious.

What´s missing in these stories are what issues the Repubs are using to raise money. "Support your local RINO" and "Vote for us because we´re not them" isn´t going to raise many funds.

Whatever you do, make sure to blame it on Sarah Palin. How dare she speak the truth when we have political games to play? How dare she speak of accountability and The Constitution when there are important sleazy strategies going on?
Most importantly, why cant conservatives "have a conversation" about impeachment, when the communists get to have conversations about all sorts of things? Oh yeah, its because when people have a conversation they arent just talking about it, they are making it happen.
Have a conversation. Impeach. Remove.

#9, Yes, I do. The fact that she´s continuing the call for impeachment--she phoned Michael Medved´s radio show yesterday to reiterate it--only exacerbates the matter. She´s pushing an idea that she must know can only result in disaster for any conservative aspirations. There is no possibility whatsoever that Obama will be impeached and convicted--impeachment without conviction is pointless--because it takes 22 Democrats on top of all the Republicans to do that.

She must also know that Bill Clinton´s popularity increased AFTER he was impeached.

Wow! A phone call to a radio show by Sarah Palin is a devastating blow to the GOP´s chances. I would have thought the illegal invasion encouraged by Obama, the corruption of the IRS, Benghazi, Obama´s failures in Iraq, Libya and soon Afghanistan, the high cost of energy, Obamcare, the sharp decline in the average American´s net worth, the VA scandal, the weak recovery, Obama´s war on traditional values, the soaring cost of food and so much more would have somehow offset comments by an unelected American concerned with the condition of our country. But according to Susannah, Sarah´s phone call and commentary out weigh the most corrupt president in our history.

Right, blame Sarah Palin. Some of us will never learn.

Palin is calling for what the constitution calls for. When has the president ever been sued? Where is it in the constitution that congress should sue the president when he won´t abide by the law. That´s what impeachment is for.

The dims are exploiting the cowardly fears of the GOP who invite the dims to use these wedges against us by showing fear. And its fear of doing the correct thing simply because the dims control the media. Then when the GOP loses elections because they don´t fight hard enough to earn our votes, its conservatives fault for not encouraging the fearful posture.

Rope-a-dope only works for so long. The time to fight is NOW.

I´m not so certain impeachment or a lawsuit will do anything. I like the suggestion for Republicans to pick 2 or 3 subjects and pound on them. I think Benghazi, VA and IRS scandal, and the border crisis is plenty.

Benghazi? What does it matter is the question Hillary asked. Our answer is the four people who lost their lives.

VA scandal? These are our veterans. Need I say more?

IRS scandal? It is our freedom that is being taken away. We have the right to assimilate and cannot be discriminated because of political party.

Border crisis? Who is crossing over? Big time safety issue.

We need common sense in government and it just isn´t there.

The House made a bipartisan demand Friday that Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson conduct a comprehensive review of the Secret Service and not just a probe of how they reacted to last month’s fence jumper. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and the panel’s top Democrat, Elijah Cummings, D-Md., said in the letter to Johnson that a September hearing on the agency exposed “a series of dangerous security breaches,” that point to serious flaws.
