Ben Carson Says He Is One Step
Closer to Running for President

Breitbart, by Staff

Monday on Newsmax TV´s "The Steve Malzberg Show," Dr. Ben Carson, former chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children´s Center, said he was one step closer to running for president. Host Steve Malzberg asked Carson if he was any closer to making a decision to run for president. Carson replied by saying he was currently "in the listening process." Carson also said it also depends on the will of the American people to go in the right direction and that he explained could hinge on the Republican Party gaining control of the U.S. Senate in this November´s midterm elections,

Dr. Carson supports amnesty and gun control. Specifically, he believes no one who lives in a large city should be allowed to own a "semi-automatic weapon." Dumb idea. No wing shooting for city dwellers I guess. Or perhaps pumps and breaking guns only. Sheesh!

He´s not a conservative. He just wants to meddle.

Carson must demonstrate that he is able to administer a large organization effectively and consistently before he can be considered a serious candidate. The nation is now experiencing the evil of incompetent mis- and maladministration by a creature of political and moral fantasy. Not again!

Dr. Carson is, I´m sure, a fine man. He does an excellent job of articulating the opinions and hopes of many of us. That doesn´t not equate to readiness to be the CEO of the most powerful nation in the world.

I agree with the OP

"Great man for the job but I´d rather see Trey Gowdy run and kick some serious tush. "

What we have in Washtington is not a failure of political philosophy. What we have is a near complete breakdown of the rule of law. What evern happened to the money at Solindra? Or several other fed-funded solar boondoggles? What happened to the $700Billion stimulus "shovel ready" jobs. Is that money now in offshore bank accounts. How much money is stolen each year from SS disability, Food Stamps, Medicare, etc. Who are these armies of illegal aliens? Who is going to use the rule of law to protect us.

We need somebody in the White House who has personal experience putting people in jail. Trey Gowdy is one. And actually Gov Chris Christe has a much larger resume putting crooked politicians in jail. Either way, that is the job skill Number One needed in 2016. Find some more names!!!

He is a fine gentleman but he should not run for President unless his policies mirror those of most Republicans, Independents ,and also appeal to Democrats. We do not want to lose 3 in a row because the Republican will not "fight" to win. Both previous candidates wimped out because Obama was Black.
He had more negatives than any President in past decades yest still won. Now everyone can see what we have done.

Carson is indeed a "good man", but also not my first choice. I don´t think his "quiet manner" is what the times call for. We need a bare knuckles warrior at this point. Gowdy and Cruz are on my list. Giuliani, although not as conservative as the other two, also makes it due to his ability to "tell it like it is" - New York style - and to get things done in a no nonsense manner.

We need to break the mentality that everyone we like should run for POTUS. We all have different roles to play in this team effort. My favorite example is Ben Franklin: never POTUS, but still an important, influential, and revered Founder. Got his picture on the C-note. As Reagan would say: "Not bad at all".

Carson is not going to run. He would be laughed off the stage. The Left (and Right for that matter) would never let a man of his statue take the national scene. If they have nothing to ´get´ him on then they´ll make it up. Add to that the rigging of elections an it´ll be a contest between two political hacks as always.

Military to allow undocumented

A small number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. will have an opportunity to join the military for the first time in decades under a new Department of Defense policy unveiled Thursday. The new rules will expand an existing program allowing recruiters to target foreign nationals with high-demand skills, mostly rare foreign language expertise or specialized health care training. For the first time, the program — known as Military Accessions in the National Interest, or MAVNI — will be open to immigrants without a proper visa if they came to the U.S. with their parents before age 16.

These days I live in a state of almost continual amazement, bedazzled by the things progressives believe. Earlier this week the New York Times had to print a correction which is probably the number one all time winner in a long line of their recent corrections: “Correction: September 8, 2014 An earlier version of a summary that appeared with this article misstated the former title of Dick Cheney. He was vice president, not president.” Seriously, someone was hired to and does write for the major progressive publication in America who thought that Dick Cheney had been our president.
