GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- Israeli tank shells hit a fuel tank of the Gaza Strip´s only power plant on Tuesday, forcing the plant to shut down, a spokesman for Gaza´s electricity distribution company said. A huge cloud of black smoke rose over the coastal city. There was no immediate word of casualties and the Israeli military had no comment. According to Jamal Dardasawi, the spokesman of the electricity distribution company, the shells hit one of three tanks in the plant compound that currently store fuel. Even before the strike, Gaza residents had electricity for only about three hours a

Obama and the rest of his demoniacs are whimpering about the poor HAMAS and the rest of the tentacles of ISLAM losing to Israel...THIS IS EXACTLY why these devils from the pit of hell are trying to intervene. It is NOT ENOUGH they FUNDED them with billions of Tax dollars....NOOO ..now they go against our ally, Israel ..they want Israel to be destroyed too. WHY ELSE would they continually help HAMAS and Islam against Israel and USA? What is the plan of Islam? To wipe out Saturday (Israel) and SUNDAY(USA). Our LEADERS are helping them all achieve these goals.

No war has been successfully ended (i.e., without recurring) until one side "wins" and the other "loses" when unacceptably-high casualties and economic destruction cause it to surrender unconditionally.

Make Hamas more of a PALESTINIAN problem than an Israeli one.

Next step: Every time Hamas fires into Israel, Israel takes out Electric Distribution stations.

Drop leaflets for Palestinians to ponder in the dark how they can eliminate Hamas to end the misery it inflicts. Invite them to finger the Hamas leaders and infrastructure locations when they have had enough.

Make sure you put the leaders and key industrial sites in the dark first. They need to feel the pain to want to solve the problem.

Israel needs to announce taking out the homes of the wealthiest next. Ten homes for every day Hamas fails to surrender. The wealthy have the power to organize against Hamas. All they need is the incentive.

Outgoing U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder has ordered federal prosecutors not to seek the death penalty against three members of a Brooklyn drug crew charged with a killing in which the victim was tortured, the Daily News has learned. The decision was disclosed Thursday in a one-sentence letter to Brooklyn Federal Judge Frederic Block several hours after Holder announced he was resigning after nearly six years as the nation’s top law enforcement official. The defendants — Christian John, Marvin Johnson and Shaquan Jones — are described in a federal racketeering indictment as being members of The Hull St. Crew, which

GOP preps for post-Election Day battle

Republicans are hoarding money in a key race that could determine control of the Senate, leaving themselves vulnerable to being outgunned by Democrats ahead of Election Day. But it could be worth it. Top Republican strategists are quietly preparing to pour money into Louisiana after November, even reserving hotel rooms and millions of dollars’ worth of ad time. If Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu doesn’t win more than half the vote in the general election, she would very likely be forced into a one-on-one runoff with Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy. The situation is similar in neighboring Georgia, where campaigns for both

Ben Carson, a famous surgeon and author who has a big following among Christian conservatives, has started a political action committee that could be the launching pad for a presidential campaign. After the rocky rollout last fall of the ObamaCare website, the administration wants to re-enroll those already in the system in hopes of avoiding another technological embarrassment. But analysts warn that just blindly re-enrolling could mean trouble for consumers. “This notion of just sit back and re-enroll is really misleading and I think could cause a lot of harm to people," said Bob Laszewski of Health Policy and Strategy Associates. “The automatic renewal, it´s easy, it will keep people getting ObamaCare," added Rosemary Gibson of the Hastings Center. LONDON -- Britain, Belgium and Denmark on Friday joined the U.S.-led coalition of nations that are launching airstrikes on the Islamic State group in Iraq, committing warplanes to the struggle against the extremists. British Prime Minister David Cameron made a passionate plea for action in drastic terms - noting that the militants had beheaded their victims, gouged out eyes and carried out crucifixions to promote goals "from the Dark Ages." Hillary Clinton’s campaign-in-waiting has a priceless asset, a super weapon strong enough to strike fear in her most determined rival. It also has a dangerous liability, a burden able to drag her into dead ends and drive her to distraction. It’s Clinton’s peculiar fate that both just happen to be her husband. As Clinton ponders her second run for the White House, many variables are in play, from her age to her health to her economic platform to her status as a soon-to-be grandmother. We’re being had. Again. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name. Now, the president has been compelled to act against a jihad that has neither ended nor been “decimated.” The jihad, in fact, has inevitably intensified under his counterfactual

Even though Republicans may take back the Senate by running against amnesty, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush pushed amnesty legislation while stumping for North Carolina Republican Senate candidate Thom Tillis on Wednesday. Of all the malfeasances of William Jefferson Clinton the one that would have most justified a removal from office was not the Monica hijinks, even with the attendant lying under oath and absurd parsings of the word “is,” but the pardoning of Marc Rich — the billionaire international commodities trader and mammoth contributor to, er, Clinton. When the U.S. military strikes, its leaders often choose colorful code names for the operation that sometimes stick in history, like Operation Overlord or Rolling Thunder or Desert Storm. Not this time. The U.S.-led air campaign against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria doesn´t have a name. "I know of no plans at this point to name it," Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said Thursday. Since World War II, almost every U.S. military operation, large and small, has had a code name. And that name usually sticks when veterans talk about the conflicts in which they participated, such
