This is the worst Ebola outbreak

The worst Ebola outbreak in history has put a number of countries in West Africa in lockdown, led to the deaths of nearly 700 people since February and brought new reports of doctors, including Americans, contracting the virus they are attempting to contain. The situation is undeniably scary. Here´s what you need to know. What is Ebola? Ebola viral disease is a highly infectious illness with fatality rates up to 90 percent, according to the U.N. World Health Organization. Symptoms initially include a sudden fever as well as joint and muscle aches and then typically progress to vomiting, diarrhea and,

Virus is too fast to be a huge threat to the world - assuming you have border controls.

Even the CDC has been corrupted. What MD worth his salt would stand for the current immigration policy.

First, do not harm.

The biggest risk seems to be from the man who flew on that airplane with passengers that scattered afterwards. Then, there is the doctor´s family who came home. Were they exposed ?

Trillions of dollars from countries around the world are wasted on foreign aid; aid that went to corrupt leaders that will never come back. Those dollars could have been better spend on disease prevention and cure.

We are going to see diseases we thought were wiped out, many walking across the southern border every day.

We need better leadership.

NO, HERE is why you should be worried: the southern US border is wide open, people from all over the world, some of them sick with drug resistant diseases and some of them carrying parasites seldom found here, are pouring into the United States with little or no health controls, and they are being dispersed all over the country by the government. Wait until the sick illegal alien kids start showing up in US schools in a month. If you wanted to start a pandemic in the US, this is how you would do it.

What the Obama regime is doing is deliberate and it´s criminal. Let´s just pray it doesn´t take this horrific turn.

Public health docs I know talk like #4. Unfortunately, people are going to begin to really suffer in America because of unbridled political correctness. Crazy but true -- we have had Mexicans with all manner of communicable diseases pouring into Texas for years. We know illegals running around with TB. They refuse to wear a mask and nothing is done about it.

RE: #4 and #7 - I read some guy walked away from a hospital in CA after being diagnosed with drug-resistant TB, and IIRC, he was an illegal.

#4 and #7 are completely correct in their assessment of the situation. Ebola is the least of our worries. Ebola moves quickly, and if you have proper sanitizing procedures and don´t eat tainted, improperly-cooked meat, you won´t get it. But LOTS of bad things are coming to us from undeveloped ocuntries.

obama and his administration are well aware of the problems of health associated with the open borders. Documents have been given to David Hodges which indicate the plan for the open borders and the influx of Illegal Aliens began in 2011. Plus, there was the Craig´s List ad in January 2014 for transportation bids for transport of 60,000 minors throughout the U.S.

It´s the gang members sent out throughout the U.S. in groups of 10 or more who are to be the "Brown Shirts" along with the newly named ACORN groups that will be armed with all of those hollow point bullets bought by government agencies.

Documents state that if only two or three of the horrific gang members are caught, waiting for more is required before being transferred.

Obama immigration delay means
60,000 to be deported by November
Washington Times, by Stephen Dinan    Original Article

Nearly 60,000 immigrants will be deported before November elections if the government holds its pace, and many of them might have earned tentative legal status had President Obama taken unilateral action to halt deportations. Mr. Obama’s decision to put off any action until after midterm elections, which the White House leaked Saturday hours before he announced it himself in an interview with NBC, was mocked by Republicans and enraged immigrant rights groups, who said they felt betrayed after throwing their support to the president in the 2012 election. In the near term, it could help several vulnerable Senate Democrats who

Obama Goes on Meet the

President Obama appeared on Meet the Press this morning with new host Chuck Todd. The conversation focused primarily on ISIS, Iraq and Syria. Much could be said about Obama’s comments, but what struck me most was how disassociated from reality Obama appears to be–both when he defends his own record, and when he talks about foreign policy. Obama repeated the spin, first floated by White House spokesman Josh Earnest, that when he talked dismissively of “jayvee” terrorist groups he wasn’t referring to ISIS: CHUCK TODD: Long way, long way from when you described them as a JV team. Immigrant-rights groups reacted furiously Saturday after the White House made clear President Obama will not take unilateral action on immigration before November’s elections, nodding at the political realities of the issue as he punted on the key policy questions. With a number of key Senate races in GOP-leaning states, Democrats had feared that action now would anger voters and cost them control of the upper chamber, and had privately begged the White House to hold off on any move to halt deportations. But immigration activists said it’s the latest in a series of moves by Mr. Obama to shove their

Unless bundled cable providers find a way to move their racket online, the demographic reality of younger people moving online looms as an existential threat to the most lucrative business in entertainment and the news media. In just four years the median age of the average television viewer jumped a whopping 6% to 44.4 years old. Six-percent is not a gradual jump. That´s a leap -- even over 4 years. The four major broadcast networks are in even worse shape. The average age of the NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX viewer is 53.9 year-old, a 7% jump in four years.

The south is weighing this country down. Nowhere in the U.S. are Americans more overweight than in Mississippi and West Virginia, where more than 35 percent of the adult population is now obese, according to a new report from the Trust for America´s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The two southern states, however, are hardly alone in their alarmingly high obesity rates—another 18 U.S. states, including just about all of the U.S. south, have obesity rates at or above 30 percent. At his first press briefing after the beheading of American James Foley, President Obama stunned the assembled when he admitted that he had no strategy for confronting ISIS, a.k.a. the Islamic State, in Syria. Yet it was not nearly the most egregious, or consequential, thing he said. Idiotic, yes. You’re the leader of the free world. Even if you don’t have a strategy — indeed, especially if you don’t — you never admit it publicly. The word of the day is herky-jerky, which is a polite way of saying erratic. And which, I regret to report, is a fitting description of President Obama’s handling of immigration. And, I regret even more, a metaphor for his stumbling stewardship. o recap and add perspective: The country’s immigration policy is broken, with 11 million undocumented immigrants forced to live in the shadows. That this situation endures is the fault of House Republicans who, captive to a gerrymandered, cable-inflamed populace that greets every reasonable solution with cries of “amnesty,” have rejected any comprehensive solution.
