A sex offender who had been on the run for two years after skipping bail for molesting two boys under the age of seven in California has been shot and killed in New York in a dramatic shoot-out with federal marshals and police. Charles Mozdir, 32, was killed in the exchange and his weapon had been recovered. His case had been featured on CNN’s The Hunt last week, which could well have led to him being identified. The shooting happened just after 1 p.m. in the West Village not far from New York University when a fugitive apprehension task force

The officers will be okay. The pervert got what was coming to him. I hate to be so cold and callous, but now taxpayers will not be stuck with the bill for prosecuting and incarcerating that pervert. He already destroyed the lives of two innocent young boys.

How do we know he was gay? That´s not in the article. Being gay has no relation to being a pedophile, if someone is making an assumption.

The perp was a male - - and he molested young boys - - not young girls.

I´d say that certifies him as a homosexual.

Cardinal Francis George, head of the Catholic archdiocese of Chicago, said the levers of power in government, education, entertainment, and media are enforcing a “public creed,” a “fake church” that requires all citizens to approve of gay marriage and related sexual anomalies or be punished by the State, just “as Christians and Jews are fined for their religion in countries governed by Sharia law.” (Snip) The State, in the past, had “kept its promise to protect all religions and not become a rival to them, a fake church,” said the cardinal. But that has now changed, he said. “In recent years,

The continuing resolution that the House Appropriations Committee introduced yesterday and that the House Republican leadership is preparing to bring up for a vote on the House floor puts no limits on funding Planned Parenthood—the nation’s largest abortion provider—or any provision of Obamacare, including the regulations that force Christian individuals and organizations to buy or provide health insurance that covers abortion-inducing drugs. “The bill is ‘clean’ and does not contain highly controversial provisions,” says a press release put out by the Appropriations Committee. “We have reached the point where a Continuing Resolution is necessary to keep the government functioning and avoid another

The politically divisive legacy of ObamaCare has vulnerable Democrats trying to downplay their past support of the legislation ahead of Election Day – by criticizing the president’s execution of the law or by sidestepping the issue altogether. Lately, Democrats in tough Senate races have been slamming President Obama for breaking his pledge that everyone could keep their health plans and doctors "no matter what." Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu, locked in a race with Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy, says of Obama in a recent ad: "This is a promise you made. This is a promise you should keep." President Obama says he intends to shrink the al-Qaeda-spawned Islamic State into a “manageable problem.” Perhaps we’ll learn more about how when he speaks to the nation on Wednesday evening. Still, the question presses: Is he the manager for the job? (Snip) In late September 2012, Mr. Obama’s administration quietly approved the transfer of 55 jihadist prisoners out of the Guantanamo Bay detention center. As Tom Joscelyn explained at the time, most of the detainees had previously been categorized as “high risk” because they were deemed “likely to pose a threat to the US, its interests, and allies” if released.

Major Garrett Asks Why Anyone

Given what we know of President Obama’s speech tonight, Major Garrett of CBS News asks White House Spokesmodel Josh Earnest the $64,000 question — Why should anyone bother to watch? Garrett lays out all the bullet points the President will deliver tonight — no boots on the ground, no timeline, no cost information, no tactical operational details — in other words: nothing new. What’s the point of a speech, a primetime address to the nation, where no new information will be conveyed? Couldn’t the media just replay one of his old speeches on ISIS? Earnest’s answer left a lot to be desired,
