Hamas’s big plan disrupted
Power Line, by Scott Johnson

Original Article

In an update this morning that provides the necessary context to Israel’s rejection of a ceasefire at this stage of its offensive in Gaza, Omri Ceren of The Israel Project writes: Leaks have begun to trickle out on what Israeli interrogators are learning from captured Hamas fighters. One plot in particular is getting overwhelming attention. Hamas was apparently a few months away from conducting a mass attack on Israeli civilians during the upcoming Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana, on September 24. The raid would have been like something out of a movie: hundreds of heavily-armed Hamas fighters would have emerged

I want to see the list of politicians, celebrities and CEOs that are pro-Hamas. This would be a defacto list of enemies of the state.

Pray for our friends in Israel. May G-d protect them.

Thank goodness Israel is smarter than the enemy. For those that support Hamas, keep in mind We are #2 on the list.

Same old same old from the muzzcrazies.

They start every war, they always put their women and children in the front line to sell their brand to the leftist lofos. And the lofos eat up the BS.

A ceasefire is demanded as soon as the fight goes Israel´s way which it always does because they are morally and militarily superior to the bloviating muzzpunks. If Israel was losing John Fraud Kerry would not be calling for a cease fire.

The cease fire template was set in the Korean war. Every time the US and South Koreans started to win the commies wanted a cease fire, which the liberals gave them. The same ploy is being attempted in the Gaza conflict. Israel predicted what is taking place now would happen if they gave up Gaza, but the American libs pressured them into doing so.

If they don´t drown or gas them in the tunnels (and save burial time), they could just sit by the tunnels with overwhelming firepower and slaughter them as they emerge!

Israelis should include in their prayers that the lord show them a different battle plan. The one used now seems to be ineffective. Only Israel would agree to a cease fire that assisted their adversary in resupplying their arms and dropping notices of an upcoming attack. They fight the enemy well, but they love their enemy more, it seems. Long live Israel and may one day they live in peace.

A Greene County grand jury has voted to not return indictments against the officers involved in the Aug. 5 shooting death of a Fairfield man in a Beavercreek Wal-Mart. The prosecutor discussed the evidence presented to the grand jury, and showed portions of the surveillance video where John Crawford III, 22, is seen carrying an air rifle he reportedly picked up off a shelf. Police said they told Crawford to put down the rifle but he did not obey. Police then fatally shot Crawford. Tennessee authorities confirmed late Monday that the remains of a nursing student missing since April 2011 have been found in the woods in Decatur County. "Forensic evidence shows remains found in Decatur County this weekend belong to Holly Bobo," the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation tweeted Monday night. Bureau representatives did not immediately respond to a telephone message left late Monday. During a news conference in Tennessee, TBI Director Mark Gwyn said the investigation into Bobo´s disappearance and now death are not over "by any means." The FBI said late Monday that it was investigating leaked nude photos that targeted Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. The agency told the Associated Press that it was addressing accusations that online accounts of celebrities, including Oscar-winner Lawrence, had been hacked, leading to the posting of their nude photographs online. In addition, Apple Inc. spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said the company was investigating whether any iCloud accounts were compromised, according to the AP. Representatives for supermodel-turned-actress Upton, 22, and Lawrence, 24, who plays heroine Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games movie franchise, issued statements about intimate pictures which first appeared on

Michael Sam, the first openly gay player drafted in the NFL, was cut by the Rams on Saturday and passed over by all 31 other teams on waivers on Sunday, and so far he hasn’t even been able to land a spot on a practice squad. So are NFL teams avoiding Sam because he’s gay? According to one NFL player, the answer to that question is yes — but not because teams are homophobic. Bills center Eric Wood says teams are avoiding Sam because they don’t want the ESPN hype that would come with having Sam, the only openly gay

The St. Louis Rams released defensive end Michael Sam on Saturday, the team announced. Sam´s efforts to become the first openly gay player in NFL history came up just short in a competition against undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks. Sam had a team-high six tackles in the Rams´ final preseason game but didn´t make the 53-man roster. Westbrooks is one of nine defensive linemen to land a roster spot. Sam officially hit waivers Saturday at 4 p.m. ET when all NFL teams had to trim their rosters down to the league-mandated 53 players. From there, the other 31 teams will have

At about 1 a.m., a St. Louis County Police officer shot and critically wounded a man who police said pointed a handgun at the officer near the intersection of West Florissant and Chambers Road. The shooting happened near Chambers and Sheffingdell Court close to the site of protests against police for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown. Police said they received a call about four to five men in the area armed with shotguns and wearing ski masks and they got reports of shots fired in the area. Police officers arrived and saw "multiple subjects running," said police spokesman Officer

At a news conference Sunday, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said the fatal shooting of a black teenager came after an altercation with police. On Saturday, 18-year-old Michael Brown was killed by police in Ferguson, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis. Belmar said the incident started when Brown physically assaulted the police officer, pushing him into the officer´s vehicle. He said there was a struggle inside the car, and at some point Brown reached for the officer´s weapon. One shot was fired inside the vehicle. Brown suffered fatal gunshot wounds outside of the vehicle, approximately 35 feet from

Ed FitzGerald´s campaign for Ohio governor has taken a sharp turn from boring and uninspired into a late-night talk show joke. How bad is it? Republican Gov. John Kasich´s campaign isn´t even talking about the Democrat´s problems. They speak for themselves. FitzGerald´s string of laughably bad news started with new numbers a week ago. A Quinnipiac Poll found that fewer Ohio voters knew enough about him to have an opinion in July than in May. Oops. Then a police report surfaced that showed FitzGerald was found alone in a car with a woman who wasn´t his wife at 4:30 one morning

The National Review got hold of a 144-page internal document drafted for the Michelle Nunn campaign in December. It includes plenty of juicy revelations on campaign strategy, including a potentially serious issue with a Points of Light connection to a charity that has ties to Hamas, which is now at war with Israel. The revelation came from an internal examination of the nascent campaign’s potential weaknesses and how Republicans could attack them. Points of Light, through a service called MissionFish, helped validate thousands of charities for EBay users who wanted to auction items and donate the proceeds to a specific charity.

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

"And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
