Troop leader: Customs and Border

Fox News, by Todd Starnes

A Boy Scout troop from the nation’s heartland is demanding answers and a U.S. senator is expressing outrage after a group of scouts was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents, with one child allegedly held at gunpoint. Jim Fox, the leader of the Mid-Iowa Boy Scout Troop 111, said the incident occurred earlier this month at a checkpoint along the Alaska – Canada border. The scouts and their leaders were on a 21-day trek from Iowa to Alaska – a trip that had been three years in the planning. As their vans were moving through a checkpoint into

There is a limit to what Americans will take. I don´t know how or when but something is inevitable.
Just don´t let them disarm you.

The is no such thing as an illegal search at a borderline port of entry. Every person and vehicle is subject to being searched when entering the USA from a foreign country.

I had the same thing happen to me years ago when I was a scout leader with a group of Boy Scouts entering Canada. The Canadian immigration authorities ordered us to completely unload the two vehicles in which we were traveling. After everything was unloaded and searched, a Canadian officer asked why we had so much camping equipment with us? We told her that we were a Boy Scout group, all the boys had scout t-shirts on, heading to Western Ontario to go on a two week canoe trip. She then said you can load up and leave, and that´s what we did.

Remember when Obama called for a civilian police force as well-equipped, etc, etc, as the US Military?

This has been happening at little airports across the nation, private pilots and their tiny airplanes, stopped by CPB, BNDD, and a ragtag assortment of sheriff´s deputies and FBI agents at gunpoint, searched without warrant, sometimes leaving the airplane and its contents in a shambles on the ramp... For absolutely no cause. One pilot was searched for the probable cause of flying from California. Last I looked, that was not illegal. Another suspect took off from Colorado. another flew after sunset. All perfectly legal. Many have never crossed a US border. Sometimes the reason is never given.for having dogs scratch expensive paint, for having inspection panels removed by non-mechanics, and the innocent citizens, licensed pilots flying legally and responsibly, handcuffed, thrown to the ground, even jailed. IT IS OUT OF CONTROL!!

At the rate we are headed, these incidents will begin to occur when US citizens try and leave the United States. It is already in the works to stop US corporations from leaving States and the US.

I know the above is such a crazy conspiracy theory especially if it had been uttered in the 1990´s.

The scout leader said: “The agent in charge informed me of the potential charges against (the) scout and informed me it is a violation of federal law for any American to take a picture of a federal agent or any federal building.”

Is this true? American citizens are not allowed to take a picture of a federal "agent" or building?

It is true that right begin at the border. If we would stop the illegals at the southern border, they would have no right to a hearing or other "due process."

The CBP folks let ANY ILLEGALS walk into the USA across the Rio Grande and HELP THEM to move to different cities, knowing that they will NEVER show up for a hearing, yet these jack booted thugs treat real American kids this way.

The biggest problem is that CBP says that nothing bad happened. Of course, there is a coverup, and the agents are lying, but that is becoming normal in the federal government these days.

Good to know some of that government purchased ammo has possibly gone to SOME Border Patrol Agents (if their guns included bullets). Now, mr. pResident, send the same to the southern border.

If OTD has the ability to stop and search(with no warrant) vehicles traveling down a highway, why should he stop there. Planes, even trains & busses can be stopped and searched with no warrant. Remember Germany and be very observant.

In early June 1964, a group of Republican governors sought to wrestle control of their party from Barry Goldwater, the Arizona conservative who was about to lead the GOP to one of the most crushing defeats in its history. The governors saw a disaster in the making, and sought a moderate candidate who could capture the imaginations of grassroots Republicans—but also beat President Lyndon Johnson in the general election. Led by Ohio’s James Rhodes—the Republican Governors Association was meeting in Cleveland, and Rhodes was a legendary vote counter—the group included Pennsylvania’s William Scranton and later New York’s Nelson Rockefeller. Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Nothing attempted by his predecessor, George W. Bush, remotely compares in imperial hubris. Mr. Bush gained explicit congressional consent for his invasions (Snip) Mr. Obama may rightly be frustrated by gridlock in Washington, but his assault on the rule of law is a devastating setback for our constitutional order. Body odour is among 52 criteria that officials at San Diego International Airport use to judge taxi drivers. Cabbies say that smacks of prejudice and discrimination.
