Still Fighting: The Delphi
Workers Obama Robbed

Creators Syndicate, by Michelle Malkin

Original Article

The White House pretended to champion American workers this week with gimmicky initiatives on federal job training and "workplace innovation." But far from the Beltway dog-and-pony show, a group of American workers ruthlessly shafted by the Obama administration was finally getting some real support -- and inching toward justice. It was five years ago this summer that 20,000 white-collar nonunion workers from Delphi (a leading auto parts company spun off from GM in 1999) had their pensions sabotaged as part of a rotten White House deal with Big Labor. Two court rulings this summer have given the victims hope. Their plight

If it had been the union thugs getting screwed, I think there would have been actual bloodshed. Union thugs are a little more Old Testament, and little less "turn the other check" than white color workers.

BOHICA.

It is a new word I learned from the people who gave us FUBAR and SNAFU. Now everytime I see Obama walk up to the podium I can simply say, "BOHICA."

Far too many people still don´t understand that this action literally DESTROYED contract law in the USA.

What Obama did was ILLEGAL, these folks should sue him personally. He is not immune to lawsuits for illegal activity, he is only immune if his actions are sanctioned by LAW.

this is a very personal matter for me, though I am not personally affected. I worked 1984-1990 for one of the operations that was folded into Delphi. I know, personally, a whole BUNCH of people who were screwed over in a major way by Barry the Islamofascist Illegal Alien Manchurian candidate. I know, personally, those who were already retired after more than 35 years with the company, and who had to go back to work just to be able to eat. Some are dead now, done in by despair and sudden poverty after a lifetime of had work.
Curses unceasing be upon Obumble and upon every single worthless low-down stinking crud bum who did this. And additional curses be upon the big creeps of the UAW and the Dhimmicrap Party who facilitated this massive theft. There is a sub-basement in Perdition for them.

Please know that at least one other US citizen has not forgotten the Delphi retirees. Every time I see General Motors in the news or on a stock ticker, I remember them.

It´s good to know that they sued, and God willing, they will win.

The Other Scottish Decision
Townhall, by Mark Davis    Original Article

While Scotland’s voters weighed whether to separate from the United Kingdom Thursday, another decision involved its most famous institution separating from 260 years of tradition. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews voted overwhelmingly to admit women, echoing a similar decision at the far younger Augusta National Golf Club in 2012. In both cases, a private organization made a decision it was entitled to make. But the environment surrounding both decisions, and the reactions thereafter, paint a disturbing portrait of a thickening cultural fog. Let us begin with a premise that will drop jaws on both sides of the Atlantic:

Fresh terror busts in Australia expose a common Achilles´ heel of the West: Indiscriminate refugee policies turn free countries into breeding grounds for jihad. It´s the same game in America. Soldiers of Islam have weaponized our blind generosity against us. There were six Latin American countries in the top 10 in the poll, which asked people to measure their well-being across five key areas. Panamanians were well above the world average for feeling positive about their lives - 61 per cent were found to be ´thriving´ in at least three of the five facets - compared with just 17 per cent internationally. A village of just 1,000 residents in Switzerland has been forced to raise taxes because an African refugee and her seven children cost the local authority £40,000 in benefits every month. Hagenbuch, in the Swiss canton of Zurich, is understood to be spending close to a third of its total annual budget on the family after they arrived from Eritrea in East Africa three years ago. The massive benefits bill covers day-to-day living expenses such as groceries and cleaning costs, as well as paying for four of the woman´s children to be housed in an orphanage and even bills for

States enraged by an Obamacare provision denying them subsidies unless they created insurance exchanges shouldn’t have been surprised. Congress routinely uses the power of the purse to twist states’ arms until they submit. It’s worked for decades. When states wanted federal highway funds in the 1970s, they first had to lower their speed limits to 55 mph. A decade later, states were prodded into raising the drinking age to 21. In the 2000s, federal education grants were made contingent on states adopting standards included in such programs as No Child Left Behind and Common Core. While we talk about democracy and equal rights, we seem increasingly to let both private and government decisions be determined by mob rule. There is nothing democratic about mob rule. It means that some people´s votes are to be overruled by other people´s disruptions, harassments and threats. The latest examples are the mobs in the streets in cities across the country, demanding that employers pay a minimum wage of $15 an hour, or else that the government makes them do so by law. Some of the more gullible observers think the issue is whether what some people are making now is

Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions. Flashes of disagreement over how to fight the Islamic State are mounting between President Obama and U.S. military leaders, the latest sign of strain in what often has been an awkward and uneasy relationship.
