Still Fighting: The Delphi
Workers Obama Robbed

Creators Syndicate, by Michelle Malkin

Original Article

The White House pretended to champion American workers this week with gimmicky initiatives on federal job training and "workplace innovation." But far from the Beltway dog-and-pony show, a group of American workers ruthlessly shafted by the Obama administration was finally getting some real support -- and inching toward justice. It was five years ago this summer that 20,000 white-collar nonunion workers from Delphi (a leading auto parts company spun off from GM in 1999) had their pensions sabotaged as part of a rotten White House deal with Big Labor. Two court rulings this summer have given the victims hope. Their plight

If it had been the union thugs getting screwed, I think there would have been actual bloodshed. Union thugs are a little more Old Testament, and little less "turn the other check" than white color workers.

BOHICA.

It is a new word I learned from the people who gave us FUBAR and SNAFU. Now everytime I see Obama walk up to the podium I can simply say, "BOHICA."

this is a very personal matter for me, though I am not personally affected. I worked 1984-1990 for one of the operations that was folded into Delphi. I know, personally, a whole BUNCH of people who were screwed over in a major way by Barry the Islamofascist Illegal Alien Manchurian candidate. I know, personally, those who were already retired after more than 35 years with the company, and who had to go back to work just to be able to eat. Some are dead now, done in by despair and sudden poverty after a lifetime of had work.
Curses unceasing be upon Obumble and upon every single worthless low-down stinking crud bum who did this. And additional curses be upon the big creeps of the UAW and the Dhimmicrap Party who facilitated this massive theft. There is a sub-basement in Perdition for them.

Please know that at least one other US citizen has not forgotten the Delphi retirees. Every time I see General Motors in the news or on a stock ticker, I remember them.

It´s good to know that they sued, and God willing, they will win.

Islamic State Rape: ‘Just

In light of the ongoing nightmare that is the Islamic State, Foreign Policy, a magazine somewhat reflective of the establishment, has published an article that once again demonstrates why U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East is a disaster: because analysts and policymakers, unable or unwilling to grapple with foreign concepts, opt to articulate them through familiar Western paradigms. Titled “The Islamic State of Sexual Violence” and written by Aki Peritz and Tara Maller—“We both worked as CIA analysts focused on Iraq’s insurgency and counterterrorism during much of the war”—the Foreign Policy (FP) article opens with this telling sentence: “Of the

"I am not ashamed," a young woman says into a camera. "I am not ashamed." The woman is Leyla Josephine of Glasgow, and she is a self-described feminist performance artist. She is reading a poem titled "I Think She Was a She" -- a poem lauded by The Huffington Post as "unapologetic. ... She ardently declares her power over her body as she reminds us that a woman exercising her right to choose is not uncommon -- and should never be shamefully brushed under the rug." What, exactly, is this poem? It´s Josephine recounting her abortion of her unborn daughter. She notes,

Americans estimate that Washington wastes 51 cents of every dollar it spends, according to a Gallup poll released last week. The timing could not have been more appropriate. The poll was released just days before Congress and the president agreed on a stopgap spending measure to fund federal government programs and agencies indiscriminately at the annualized rate of $1.1 trillion. This year’s figure is tied for the highest since Gallup began asking the question in 1979. The 2011 survey, conducted after the $800 billion stimulus bill was enacted, also registered 51 percent. Except for a low point of 38 percent during

If you believe the media, today’s People’s Climate March was a gathering of grandmothers, adorable kiddies and smiling college students in polar bear costumes to urge us all to live in miserable poverty in order to save the planet from a threat that doesn’t exist. Except for the Green Energy tycoons behind this thing who will get very, very rich. (Just ask Al Gore, who was there.) But when most people hear the word “People” and “March” in one sentence, they think commies. And indeed there were plenty of Commies there. Of late, Hollywood has given us all kinds of movies about the military. The worst of them—such as “Green Zone,” a dreadful 2010 film that rightfully bombed at the box office—demonize and diminish our men and women in uniform to feed Tinseltown’s impulse to please the Code Pink crowd. (Snip) It’s all too rare we see movies that humanize those who fight for us, that deliver a truly honest portrayal of the difficulties of balancing service and sacrifice. There is a movie that’s getting a limited theatrical release that does just that. “Fort Bliss” is the fictional account of an Army

THE narrow victory of the left-leaning Social Democratic Party in Sweden’s elections last Sunday marked a broad shift in its politics. But a new coalition government is unlikely to reconsider one of the country’s most challenging policies: its response to the Syrian civil war. Sweden has taken an open-door approach to people fleeing the conflict, accepting more Syrians than any other European country. Never mind that Sweden has double-digit youth unemployment. That there have been riots in immigrant neighborhoods in Stockholm. That there is a severe housing shortage for new arrivals. Or that the Swedish Migration Board, which handles asylum seekers,

While Scotland’s voters weighed whether to separate from the United Kingdom Thursday, another decision involved its most famous institution separating from 260 years of tradition. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews voted overwhelmingly to admit women, echoing a similar decision at the far younger Augusta National Golf Club in 2012. In both cases, a private organization made a decision it was entitled to make. But the environment surrounding both decisions, and the reactions thereafter, paint a disturbing portrait of a thickening cultural fog. Let us begin with a premise that will drop jaws on both sides of the Atlantic:

President Barack Obama returned a formal military salute with a one-handed coffee-cup salute Tuesday, only a few hours after he dispatched the nation’s military on their attack mission into northern Syria. White House aides posted the sloppy salute video on Instagram. President Barack Obama saluted a pair of United States Marines on Tuesday while holding what appeared to be a styrofoam cup in his saluting hand, a breach of military regulations that won´t win him fans among veterans and servicemen. Obama is known for drinking tea, not coffee, when he travels, especially before delivering speeches. His quasi-saluting gesture was an instant embarrassment for the White House, and not because his environmentally taboo drinkware clashed with the green-policy speech he was on his way to deliver at a UN Climate Summit. On Tuesday, shortly after announcing to the American public that the United States was now bombing ISIS in Syria, the President of the United States flew to New York to address the United Nations – on climate change. His speech mixed high-flown sentiment with apologies for America, and pledged American sacrifice in the name of a lofty goal without evidence that such sacrifice would in any way contribute to attaining that goal. In other words, it was a typical Barack Obama whirligig. Even as American warplanes struck targets in Syria, even as regimes tottered in Jordan and Iraq and Yemen,

President Obama on Wednesday delivered a speech at the United Nations filled with his usual soaring rhetoric of global collectivism and the importance of “international norms.” But the president also displayed a shocking naivete about global affairs, religion, Islam — a Pollyannaish interpretation on the state of the world and America’s role in it. Although Mr. Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize just eight months into office, the president made his annual trip to the ineffectual world council to deliver a call to war. “Ladies and gentlemen, we come together at a crossroads between war and peace,

So this video of The View’s women grappling with the Obama administration’s response to ISIS terrorism is noteworthy. I want to highlight O’Donnell’s contribution near the end: We are bombing Syria because Syria has so much oil, so there is a “financial incentive.” What the Hell is this supposed to mean?
