Obama Eyes Major Immigration Move
Time Magazine, by Alex Altman

Original Article

When President Obama issues executive orders on immigration in coming weeks, pro-reform activists are expecting something dramatic: temporary relief from deportation and work authorization for perhaps several million undocumented immigrants. If the activists are right, the sweeping move would upend a contentious policy fight and carry broad political consequences. The activists met privately with the President and his aides June 30 at the White House, and say in that meeting Obama suggested he will act before the November midterm elections. hey hope his decision will offer relief to a significant percentage of the estimated

ISIS is claiming that they plan to put 0bama in their sights and he wants to open the southern border. 0bama may think his "Where´s Waldo" campaigning will keep him safe, but time and a stretched thin Homeland Security & Border Patrol babysitting the illegal alien invasion may embolden the terrorist. 0bama may find out if his pen is mightier than their sword.

Our constitution does require authorization from Congress for both domestic and foreign action from the executive branch. I am just a little miffed that this requirement is not being met, and would support removal of any president that did not meet it.

What´s the population of Honduras? Giving Hondurans refugee status so they don´t have to make the "arduous trek through Mexico" seems to be an invitation to a flood of people.

By a margin of 58% to 34%, people do not approve of Obama´s handling of the immigration issue, according to Fox News polling. But those numbers are roughly the same as the numbers who disapproved of Obamacare before it was passed.

Clearly, the polls don´t matter to what Obama & Co want, so unless there is a legal way to stop him, he is going to get his amnesty for millions of potential Democrat voters, who will magically get voting rights before the next election. And anything else they want, courtesy my bank account and yours.

It would likely damage vulnerable Democratic incumbents in red states, including several whose re-election could determine control of the Senate.

Yes, more than likely, that is true, assuming that all the vote-rigging that has been in the works since Obama was elected the first time doesn´t come to pass. Our elections have become to some degree exercises in applying tourniquets.

Notice that closing the borders, deportation, and applying our existing immigration laws were never mentioned in this article?

The Constitution succinctly states that the President shall be a Natural Born Citizen. Once they successfully and brazenly swept past that, 0bie´s handlers have become more confident. Saying that the Constitution bars this or that makes no difference to them at this stage. Watch out for how they skate past the 22nd Amendment.

Who or what is going to stop Obama from doing exactly what he says he is going to do? This country used to pride itself on being a country whose foundation was built on the rule of law. Now that means little or nothing to Obama and his supporters. They use the law for protection from investigation and manipulate and tweak it to get their way. This is so far removed from the way we have done things since the country´s inception that I can´t believe there are not howls of protest.

One man is brazenly becoming a despot and there is little sense of of urgency or outrage from the leadership in this country. The people are in shock and dismay by Obama´s usurpation of power and yet he continues along like the Energizer Bunny. We should all be very afraid. Either we have the most uncaring ineffective and cowardly leaders in Washington or they are all in cahoots. Whichever the case may be, the country, as it was founded, is in dire straits and Obama continues his destruction unimpeded.

If Obama gets away with whatever executive order he has up his sleeve, it will be his crowning achievement even more so than Obamacare. It will forever change the demographics, culture, and will finally drive a stake through the heart of the American dream. He will by this one act create a majority underclass that will bankrupt the middle class. Obama´s political philosophy always creates a vast underclass ruled over with an iron fist by wealthy elites. It is the very antithesis of the free and opportunity driven country we have all enjoyed. You will not recognize this country in a few short years.

One reason Obama may be cow-towing to the illegals is not only to replace all the Democrat voters he lost. It is also so he is seen as a kind of Martin Luther King redux for the poor unfortunate aliens that the US would have otherwise turned their back on, on his march to becoming head of the UN. This is definitely a One Worlder, no borders action, at the cost/expense/security of tax paying, US citizens.

It may be revealed one day that if these kids are indeed refuges, it is probably because of violence in Central and South American from Obama´s trafficking in arms, re Fast and Furious. The Muslim Socialist planted the seeds.

I worked a GOP voter registration booth at a state fair yesterday. Of course lots of Republicans came up not to register to vote but to vent. Forget Obamacare and IRS and VA and Obama´s outrageous spending on himself and the world in chaos, Obama´s encouraging illegal immigration has people seeing red right now. Of course, there is always a new scandal and a new outrage in the making with Obama.

So Obama cares more for these poor widdle kids in these third world Central American countries than the Christians being wiped out by Muslims in Iraq.

I´m waiting for the Pope to join in with Obama and make a joint announcement about the poor kids down there.

I can´t believe what I just heard on TV. By executive order Obama is going to put into place a procedure whereby children who live in Hondurus, et al, will be granted immigration rights to come here. They will be put on planes and taken here thereby avoiding the dangerous trip. The President of Hondurus thinks it is a great idea, esecially since this is our fault anyway. Just when you think you have heard every Aerica hating idea he could come up with you find there is no end to the damage he plans.

What about the Christians in Iraq and other places who need to get out or die?

As I said all along, Obama does not want to stop the flood of illegal aliens coming into the USA, he really intends to legalize that flow of illegal aliens.

If Obama can issue an executive order granting refugee status to aliens in their native countries, like Honduras, it will not be long before he will extend that policy to El Salvador and Guatemala. Then he can include the Middle East countries thus importing vast numbers of Muslims into the USA.

When aliens are granted refugee status the entire close family group gets to come to the USA. How are they going to travel here, with airplane tickets purchased by the Obama crew of course. Once those refugees enter the USA they immediately become eligible for all sorts of social welfare benefits and "free" health care benefits.

In a couple of years they are given "green cards" and five years later duel nationality status, that gives them US voting rights. Obama knows that just about all are poor and uneducated people who are socialist oriented and therefore are natural future Democrat voters. That´s what this is really all about.

Our pResident has no regard for the rule of law, and no regard for the country. Will the legislative branch or judicial branch of government stand up to him? They are suppose to stop the executive branch from abusing its power.

FTA: Obama has been cautious about preempting Congress. But its failure to act has changed his thinking.

Obama has been cautious?? You´ve got to be kidding. All he has done is flip off the congress and do whatever he wants, with little or no resistance I might add. Marsha Blackburn is sponsoring a bill to cut off funds from Obama until he stops this lawlessness. Of course Boehner hasn´t uttered a word about favoring this. Obama has to be stopped no matter how they do it! Boehner´s lawsuit will have no immediate impact whatsoever on Obama.

Too many of us have sat by an done nothing to get our side & point across. We need to make demands or march or, if need be, riot before there is a shooting war and it gets real ugly.

Obama does what he wants because there is absolutely no push back! Sue him in Federal court. Make the House issue a writ of mandamus! (Google: Writ of Mandamus)

I´m now convinced Obama could declare by Executive Order that the individual states no longer exist and all borders are removed and we are just one big country like China and most of our citizens would do absolutely nothing but stand by and watch.

Great... I ran across this headline today: ´Paul Ryan Is Back With New Plan To Combat Poverty´.

In what world do these people live in. Is Washington DC on Mars. Here´s a solution for combating poverty: don´t import millions more of illegal poor people. Is this a game of catch up with these bozo´s. Spend trillions of dollars to support people who won´t work and then spend more on illegals who come here to get free medical services and then go on the dole.

Politicians from both parties are completely insane.

By granting what amounts to a mass amnesty to millions of illegal aliens Obama is taking it upon himself to nullify the immigration laws. If Obama can do that, he can also waive the requirement for a visa for all aliens to enter the USA and invite all comers into this country until his term ends. Something tells me that the US Constitution does not give Obama those powers.

At 25K a head, they´re brought in to Mexico, trained in Spanish language and Mexican culture. And then, brought in to the US, now openly, posing as mexican nationals. Full bore terrorist training done in home countries, the Mexican refinement done on the last leg.

Liberals tend to devote a significant portion of their daily lives to proving how not racist they are. One particularly expedient way of doing this is to declare that something a conservative has said or done is totally racist, and then to place oneself in opposition to the thing that was racist: “See, I’m not a racist!” As result, the List of Things That Are Racist has grown incomprehensibly long. The Free Beacon‘s devotion to public service obligates us to provide this list (not exhaustive by any means) of what liberals do and do not consider to be racist. Things That Are Racist: 1. Turkey´s parliament voted 298-98 on Thursday in favor of launching military operations across the border in Syria and Iraq, in a bid to combat the self-proclaimed "Islamic State" (IS). Responsibility was avoided; privileges and credentials asserted; authority reasserted. Trust us. Remain calm. Don’t panic. This is the template of recent events. A mental case jumps the White House fence. He makes it to the East Room before he’s tackled by an off-duty Secret Service agent. Initial statements turn out to be misleading or false. We discover that lapses in

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. I hated

WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

The hawkish Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina says he is thinking about running for president in 2016. In an interview with Stephen Hayes of the Weekly Standard, the senator, running for re-election to the Senate this year, said: “If I get through my general election, if nobody steps up in the presidential mix, if nobody’s out there talking — me and McCain have been talking — I may just jump in to get to make these arguments,” Graham said. Graham, 59, also dismissed Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 43, as a presidential candidate, saying he is too young. “He’s a good

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
