Has President Obama bottomed out yet?
Washington Post, by Scott Clement

Original Article

Barack Obama has skated from crisis to crisis this summer, from insurgents invading Iraq, an avalanche of unaccompanied minors crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, the re-ignition of Israel-Palestinian violence and another contentious standoff with Russia. But new polling finds that, despite a wave of bad news, Obama´s job approval ratings have not budged. At all. Here´s what the data show: A CNN/Opinion Research poll concluding Sunday found 42 percent approving of Obama, one point below June, May and March; 55 percent have disapproved in each of the last three polls. Gallup´s daily tracking poll released Wednesday found 42 percent approved and

In other words, 42% or so will always approve of him regardless of what he does.

Since the US has a population of 300 million, 58% disapproving of Obama is 174 million and 42% approving is 126 million. Obama only needs to bring in 48 million illegals and he gets 50% approval. See how easy that was?

Subtract that 10% who will always suck soetoro´s tailpipe because, well, you know, then deduct another 5-10% of the weenies who will flat-out lie to a pollster in order to retain their phony-baloney veneer of cool progressivism. Take away another 3-5% of the LOFO morons who still might wake up, and there you really have it. stinky´s true numbers are probably really bad.

There´s currently 10-12 percent of the 42 percent favoring him who are increasingly disillusioned souls who will grudgingly fall away as his incompetence and sheer chutzpah comes home to roost in their lives.

WASHINGTON — As Obama administration officials sought to reassure Americans about efforts to contain Ebola in the wake of the first U.S. case, the military announced Friday that an additional 1,000 troops could be sent to West Africa to help fight the virus. And that number could go higher than that, said Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Pentagon press secretary. "I´m not going to put a floor or ceiling on this," Kirby said. President Obama initially ordered 3,000 troops to West Africa to help build hospitals, labs and treatment centers and provide logistics help. They are not going to treat Ebola

Ebola is spreading at the rate of five new cases an hour in Sierra Leone, according to figures released as world leaders and experts on disease control gathered in London to discuss the outbreak. The figures from Save the Children showed there were 765 new cases last week in the west African country alone, but only 327 hospital beds to treat infected patients. The charity said the “terrifying” rate of the spread of the disease was outstripping medical supplies and threatened a breakdown of Sierra Leone’s already fragile health system. The rate of spread of the deadly virus is projected

The latest Ebola outbreak has killed 3,338 in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Senegal and Nigeria, the World Health Organization says, prompting several West African countries to closely monitor travelers in and out of the country. On the form obtained by the Associated Press and confirmed by a Liberian government official, Duncan answered "no" to questions about whether he had cared for

An investigation was underway Tuesday after Iraqi military pilots mistakenly gave food, water and ammunition to enemy ISIS militants instead of their own soldiers, a senior security official and a brigadier told NBC News. The supplies were supposed to help besieged Iraqi army officers and soldiers who had been fighting Islamist extremists for a week in Saglawyah and the village of Al-Sijar in the country’s western province of Anbar. “Some pilots, instead of dropping these supplies over the area of the Iraqi army, threw it over the area that is controlled by ISIS fighters,” said Hakim Al-Zamili, a Sadrist lawmaker

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) made fresh advances in both Syria and Iraq on Monday, in defiance of the escalating United States-led bombing campaign against the jihadist group. For almost two months now, Tomahawk missiles and F22 Raptor jet fighters have bombarded the bases, strategic assets and front-line positions of Isil jihadists. But the group’s encroachment on Baghdad is steadily progressing and it is close to seizing a key Kurdish village on the Syria-Turkey border. A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story.
