Howard Stern: ´If You´re Anti-
Israel You´re Anti-America´

Breitbart´s Big Hollywood, by Christian Toto

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/24/2014 1:31:00 PM

Howard Stern says things other entertainers dare not discuss. That typically involves breast size, lesbian encounters and other titillating topics. This week, Stern said something almost unheard of in celebrity circles. If you´re anti-Israel you´re also anti-America. Stern took a caller who wondered if Stern might change his tune on Israel given the current fighting in the Middle East. Stern wasn´t having it. "Israel´s at no fault," he says. "Jews get enough s**t all over the world ... Jews are the indigenous people of that area," he says. "The Arabs don´t even want those Palestinians .. nobody wants them." The

Comments:
This is one of the only times I remember completely agreeing with the usually obnoxious Stern. He certainly doesn´t hold back. Graphic language warning! You certainly don´t have any doubt what his opinion is. We need more people to stand up like he did!

How many times do we have to belabor (and paraphrase) this same tired cliche: "First, they* came for the [Israelis..."

* "They" being virtually every member nation of the UN (Canada boldly excepted), 1.2 billion Muslims, seemingly the majority of the world´s media, and every overt and latent Jew hater on the planet.

...but I did not speak out - because I wasn´t an Israeli,"

Oh, come on. No one has a monopoly on suffering and no one is better than anyone else in God´s eyes, in terms of their potential for salvation (the person has to want salvation, or course ). Christ came to save anyone who would believe in and follow Him. No government on this earth is perfect, none. And no country should place itself above criticism either. Stern is a narcissist just like Obama is.... Hundreds of thousands of Christians are being ethnically cleansed out of Iraq and Syria, and you don´t see Howie getting his boxes in a bunch about that. Freedom of speech includes the freedom to dissent ! Nobody should be marching in lockstep with any political leader or politician ordination! Those who do are simply Sheeple, and I don´t care what the philosophy is that drives those sheeple, it is idiocy, when they are all acting and doing exactly the same thing without having responsible checks, balances or self-criticism. Don´t surrender your freedom to have a different thought in your head and the right to express it from your mouth or through a pan or social media! Stern, you are all wet on this one. Even if it is about israel.

One point of contention with Mr. Stern´s words: How are the Jews "the indigenous people of that territory"? Weren´t Caananites the majority at the time of Abraham´s arrival (from Ur) and the time of the Israelites´ arrival (ending their exodus from Egypt)? Wasn´t there a whole generation of Samaritans in the land when Persia overthrew Babylon and restored the land to the Jews who had been held captive throughout the empire for over 60 years?

Didn´t Muslims control the territory for 1300 years after Arabs captured it from the Byzantine Empire in the year 635, until the U.N. declared the nation of Israel in 1948?

I´m not challenging Israel´s right to that land, just Stern´s claim that the Jews are indigenous there.

NEW YORK - Protecting the infrastructure of American cities from the effects of climate change is rising on the agenda of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to a top agency official. "Increasingly, we´ve moved not only from a security focus to a resiliency focus," said Caitlin Durkovich, assistant secretary for infrastructure protection at Homeland Security, an agency better known for its fight to curb terrorist threats. A sniffling Attorney General Eric Holder fought back tears on Thursday as President Barack Obama praised his legal legacy and wished him well outside the federal govermnent. Although Holder will leave the Justice Department under a cloudbank of controversies, the president gushed in a stirring political eulogy that ´he believes, as I do, that justice is not just an abstract theory. It’s a living and breathing principle.´ Holder told a televised White House gathering that he has ´very mixed emotions´ about his departure, which is on hold until his replacement can win Senate confirmation. UNITED NATIONS — President Barack Obama is carving out a wide swath the Pacific Ocean for an expanded marine preserve, putting the waters off-limits to drilling and most fishing in a bid to protect fragile underwater life. The revamped expanded Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument will cover 490,000 square miles - an area roughly three times the size of California - and will become the largest marine preserve in the world. Millions of seabirds, sea turtles and marine mammals live in the bio-rich expanse included by the new monument, which will also add new protections for more than 130

This is what we’ve come to: One of Mitt Romney’s former ad men has launched an entire campaign around the idea that “Republicans Are People, Too.” And, unsurprisingly, some liberals are amused. MSNBC’s Steve Benen derided the message as “overly defensive” and wrote: “If you have to remind the public that Republicans ‘are people’ and ‘have emotions,’ then you’re implicitly suggesting that Republicans’ basic humanity is, at least for some, in doubt.” Well…sometimes, yeah, it is in doubt.
