Fusion’s Ramos: Deporting

Fusion anchor Jorge Ramos bashed proposals to deport the minors illegally crossing the border and Texas Governor Rick Perry’s plan to send National Guard troops to the southern border. In an appearance on Tuesday’s The O’Reilly Factor on the Fox News Channel, Ramos said “I don´t think any government should be in the business of deporting endangered children. That´s not the American way, that´s not the Christian way.” He agreed that the US cannot take in every child who comes from a dangerous region of the world, but also argued that “These children are not a concern for the United

Do we really know if these children came from Central America? Do they travel with passports and identification? Perhaps they are all Mexican citizens. I have not seen any discussion about which country/countries we are legally required to return these children/adults to. Why can´t we just return them to the country (Mexico) where they crossed the border? It would be less expensive and definitely quicker.
