Feds Pay Tuition, Child Support for

MCALLEN, Texas--Teenagers caught illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border are being transported via plane to states around the nation. One such state is Massachusetts, where a foster care agency is currently seeking foster parents to take the minors in. Lutheran Social Services, located in Worcester, Massachusetts, is "the only program in the New England states that assists refugee and migrating youth exclusively." The organization seeks out individuals, couples, and families willing to foster illegal immigrant minors from Latin America. A spokeswoman from Lutheran told Breitbart Texas that foster parents receive financial

The "adoptions" are voluntary, which is a surprise. Because at this point, I´m expecting to hear that the Feds are forcing people to adopt under some sort of duress.

As for the welfare of the illegals, I´m sure our righteous leaders spared every possible expense in vetting the adopting parties. Meaning, who knows what kind of lowlifes and crackheads will be allowed to adopt these people? It´s likely the authorities don´t care.

Control of the US Senate largely hinges on the outcome of election in 12 states. In half of these contests, the Democrat candidate is the scion of rich political legacies. In their own way, these contests will test the proposition that America is a land without an aristocracy. Obama´s "Dreams of My Father" may be less a memoir than a political blueprint. For many Democrat candidates this year, their last name is their greatest political asset. In Arkansas, Sen. Mark Pryor is seeking reelection for a seat long held by his father, and former Governor, David Pryor. Colorado Sen. Mark Udall

President Obama was given detailed and specific intelligence about the rise of the Islamic State as part of his daily briefing for at least a year before the group seized large swaths of territory over the summer, a former Pentagon official told Fox News. The official -- who asked not to be identified because the President´s Daily Brief is considered the most authoritative, classified intelligence community product analyzing sensitive international events for the president -- said the data was strong and "granular" in detail. The source said a policymaker "could not come away with any other impression: This is getting bad." Obama, unlike

In what could be ominous news for Democratic candidates in the November election, President Obama´s popularity in California has skidded to the lowest level of his presidency, according to a new Field Poll. The survey found that 45 percent of registered voters approved of the job Obama is doing, only a couple of ticks above the 43 percent who disapprove. That´s a solid drop from the 50 percent to 39 percent rating that the poll found in June. It´s also far below the 62 percent who believed Obama was doing a good job at the start of his second term in early

In remarks on the U.S. economy Monday, President Barack Obama said Congressional Republicans will eventually cave to public pressure to raise the federal minimum wage. Obama was speaking at the Laborfest festival hosted by the AFL-CIO in Milwaukee, Wis. “If I cared about these things, I’d also want more Democrats looking out for me,” he said. “I’m just saying. Because when the rest of the country is working to raise wages, but Republicans in Congress won’t, it ain’t right.” Noting the protests in recent months from fast food workers seeking higher wages, Obama said Republicans would open up to the

Some Democratic senators have said he should wait for Congress to pass legislation. Wait. Why would they want to do that? Aren’t the policies Obama is proposing on immigration wildly popular? President Obama needs to take action to stop Islamic State (Isis) militants from targeting cities in America and Western Europe, two senators have warned. The bipartisan pair shared a dire warning against Isis, which now has control of vast swathes of Syria and Iraq, has killed civilians from that region and beheaded American journalist James Foley. “This is

Between 1970 and 1990, the population of Philadelphia shrank by a quarter, dropping from 1.95 to 1.59 million. Like many American cities, it seemed caught in a downward spiral. Since then – like many American cities – Philadelphia has stabilized. The population now appears to have bottomed out at the millennium, and has been regaining residents over the past decade. But as it rebounds, Philly is becoming a different kind of city. In the two most recent decades, which comprise the bounce of the city’s population curve, owner-occupied housing dropped even more steeply than in the ’70s and ’80s. Between 2000 and

WASHINGTON — The current Congress is on track to be the worst ever at passing laws since modern record-keeping began, with three of its lawmakers failing to introduce a single bill, The Post has learned. The divided House and Senate have managed to pass just 163 laws that garnered President Obama’s signature since the two-year term began in January 2013. At this rate, Congress will have no problem beating the previous record set during the 2011-2013 session in which 284 laws were passed. That was down from 385 laws passed in the 2009-2011 session.
