Why Israel Fights:
Life on the Gaza Border

American Thinker, by Dan Gordon

Original Article

Years ago in my misspent youth, as a film student at UCLA ,I saw a World War II documentary called “ Why We Fight.” So this is my go at it. (snip)“You know what happened here today?” the son says. “They tried to attack again. The terrorists.” The daughter says, "They came up out of a tunnel that just opened up in the ground. The army got some of them but then said that two were still on the loose so they tell you to go into the fortified room and lock the door.” “Do you have any weapons in the house?”

Israel doesn´t have the support of obama but she has the support of the American people. Let´s hope Israel will rid the world of the Hamas scourge once and for all time. Why agree to a ceasefire when Hamas will only rearm and continue to try again to drive the Jews out of Israel? Bibi do what you have to do and just ignore kerry and obama.

I probably should keep my mouth still on this one, but as Obama goes to LA for more fund raising and totally messes up LA traffic, people are dying in Israel from people he and Kerry support and protect. There is no negotiating with Hamas or other Muslims radicals.

Bibi... load up the napalm and hit every area that that fires off a rocket. You can´t reason with these people, so take that off of the board and retaliate with enough firepower so you get their attention.

Muslims are trying to kill every Christian and Jew on the planet. People who do not recognize that are doomed to extinction.

Reading about what these people have to put up with literally in their front yard nearly brought tears to my eyes. No, I´m not Jewish but a solid Christian. However, I fully support Israel in it´s struggle to survive against the mad dogs that are striving to eliminate them from the earth. And that´s what they are. Mad dogs. They don´t have a shred of civilization about them. All they know is to kill, kill, kill. That is, until a force larger than them kills them.

Remember when Barack Obama was going through his “sort of god” phase in the media? Back then before he had a presidential track record, he was frequently pictured in the media with a halo. How times (and staff work) have changed! Last night’s speech clearly showed President Obama with horns protruding from his head. The staff that once upon a time posed him in front of Styrofoam columns managed to pull a Gingrich on him. Talk about losing your mojo!

The Democratic Party and the mainstream media joined to run interference for Barack Obama when he became a national figure. Obama was painted as a charismatic, competent, new kind of politician. The passage of time destroyed this image. Now, the public increasingly sees Obama as incompetent, untrustworthy and unmotivated. Supporters are now in an awkward position. Do they continue to support what is increasingly seen as an inept president or do they turn against him? Continuing the subterfuge is dangerous. Lending credibility to an incredible man is a certain way to destroy one’s own validity. Obama, once considered a savior and asset

If we should be attacked by terrorists who come across our unprotected, undefended southern border, and should Americans die in any such attack, we would do well to understand for what those lives were lost. They would have been spent for the ability of illegal aliens to cast illegal votes for politicians doing illegal things. While both parties are to some degree to blame for the porousness of our southern border, the party that has the singular ability to solve the problem via the levers of government, the Democrats, is ensuring that the problem becomes so pervasive and vast that

Barack Obama stands apart from other modern American Presidents in many ways. (snip)the widespread view that he is the coolest President ever. This supernal coolness is not new. In his autobiography, Dreams From My Father, the President wrote that in his teenage years “I tried my best to be cool at all times” (p. 82). However, leaving aside the contradiction inherent in trying to be cool, it is possible that Barack Obama’s teenage experiences may have left him psychologically, and perhaps even neurologically, incapable of performing fundamental tasks of his current position. WASHINGTON--US President Barack Obama will tell the American people on Wednesday night that he plans to order strikes against Islamic State forces in both Syria and Iraq until the group is ultimately destroyed. As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. For starters, the president doesn’t believe the Islamic State is a current threat to the U.S.: “So ISIL poses a threat to the people of Iraq
