Even in liberal Mass., plan

Boston Herald, by Joe Battenfield

Massachusetts’ candidates for governor will find out soon what Democrat Steve Grossman learned firsthand yesterday — voters even in liberal Massachusetts are angry. On our Boston Herald Radio show live at South Station, Grossman was in the middle of a passionate defense of Gov. Deval Patrick’s move to house 1,000 illegal immigrants in the state, when a couple of voters decided to intervene. “We have enough problems with our own kids,” said one woman from Brockton who was waiting to catch a commuter rail. The state treasurer countered by talking about opiate abuse — a standard political dodge — but another woman wanted to

Patrick told the citizens of MA that there is nothing he or they can do about this, we must all submit. Reports claim they have already landed 5 to 6 planeloads of illegals, set them up in a temporary holding site and then set them free in our state. Reports of children´s pool/sport areas being overrun by people who ONLY speak spanish are being heard. Lawrence, a financially depressed and struggling community, has stated that tall, whiskered, gray-haired individuals are overwhelming their school system. For decades now, in an attempt to retain a congressional seat that the state eventually lost, the politicians have been doing everything they can to entice illegals.

Hmmm . . . I guess the philosophy of "what´s good for thee, but not for me" isn´t working now? Even in Mass.? I guess hell is freezing over? Naw, probably not.

It was the school superintendent in Lynn, Mass. who said that gray-haired people were trying to enroll in junior high school, claiming they were teenagers. They could be pulling the same stunt in Lawrence, which is a disaster area anyway.

Steve Grossman, who is fighting with Martha Coakley to be the next governor of Mass., is politically out there in Elizabeth Warren Land.

As far as I am concerned, they can ship them all there. Confine th illegals to blue states only, where their illegal voting in national elections can be countered by the electoral college.

Plant illegals in their neighborhoods and some windmills on their coastline and see what they have to say about liberalism then.

Meanwhile, in Maine, Republican Governor LePage has taken issue with the dumping of an unknown number of illegals between Jan and June.

Not only is the number not clear, no one knows where these illegals are stashed.

It seems that one type of dumping spot being considered - and used - are abandoned mental institutions. If you know of any such places in your area, it would be interesting to drive by and see what you can see...

It is best that the term ´dumping´ should be changed. When that specific word is used, the administration´s EPA might decide to come in, inspect the area, and term it ´toxic´ Yep, this is Big Government working in its finest hour. Neither the right or the left hand knows what they are doing. Sigh...at least the hands are still attached. AND THESE ARE THE SAME THAT MANAGE OUR HEALTH CARE? And, lets not forget the upper tier of our military as well since o-the-dark-one has replaced so many with those of his ilk.

This is a visceral issue - even for liberals. This invasion is akin to finding squatters living in your house. You don´t want to offer them the upstairs bedroom, you don´t want to offer them the cellar, you certainly don´t want them to stay in the master bedroom:

you just want them the h*!! out.

Former President Jimmy Carter claimed Wednesday that he would have been re-elected and beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980 if had been more “manly” in his dealings with Iran. Interviewed by the show "CNBC Meets," Carter repeated his belief that the failed mission to free American hostages held in Tehran killed his chances, but then added that had he gone to war, America would have rewarded him with a second term in 1980.

My last article for American Thinker was too long. And too short. Too long because the gurus tell us articles should be about 600 words. My story about the president talking to the black caucus about white people inflicting constant racial injustice on black people came in at 1500 words. I was just getting warmed up. I thought it strange that at the same time the president was trying to persuade us that black people are relentless victims, black people were committing acts of racial violence in places like Seattle, Miami, Indianapolis, Bronx, Ferguson, Kansas City, Providence, Minneapolis and 18 miles from where

The quintessential question of Watergate was “what did the President know and when did he know it?” Obamagate, the vast scandal that encompasses an entire presidency, offers a preemptive answer. Obama didn’t know anything and he never knew it. At least not until, like smuggling weapons to druglords, bugging journalists, IRSing his political enemies and killing vets, his right hand found out about what his left hand was doing from the morning paper. After skipping 58% of his daily intelligence briefings in Term 1 and 59% of them in Term 2, he went on 60 Minutes and blamed intelligence agencies for being

Kansas Tea Party supporters are threatening to sit out the state’s pivotal Senate election, potentially dealing another blow to the reelection hopes of Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.). Though schisms within the GOP base rarely have such an outsized impact on a general election contest, the lack of support from the conservative base could be devastating to the vulnerable Roberts’s chances against surging independent Greg Orman. Multiple sources tell The Hill that a group of Tea Party leaders in the state are meeting Wednesday to try to decide whether they should go to bat for the incumbent this fall or sit out of

A recently retired Secret Service agent told MailOnline on Thursday that former director Julia Pierson´s resignation will be welcomed by the agency´s rank-and-file because ´people in the service thought she was a joke from Day One.´ He attributed her swift fall from grace to a cadre of ´p***ed off agents who had had enough´ of feeling disrespected by the service´s first female director. ´Putting her in charge was part of the [Obama] administration´s push to feminize the service after the "hookergate" nightmare,´ the agent said, referring to agents who were fired after patronizing prostitutes during a security-check trip to Colombia

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

Count House Speaker John Boehner as a fan of Jeb Bush for president. He also hasn´t spoken to Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz in two years. The driving issue of the 2016 election will be “competence,” and if former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush runs, “he’s got a real shot” at winning, the Ohio Republican told the Cincinnati Enquirer on Tuesday. Boehner applauded Bush’s ability to “talk about Republican issues better than most anybody that we’ve got out there,” approving of his “real record of reform” as Florida’s governor from 1999 to 2007. He also called potential candidates Ohio Gov. John

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which
