Biden decries voting restrictions

LAS VEGAS -- Vice President Joe Biden Wednesday called on members of the NAACP to spread the word about what he called "a hailstorm" of measures to restrict citizens´ ability to vote, trying to rally the Democratic Party´s base before the midterm elections. In a 31-minute speech to the civil rights group´s annual convention in Las Vegas, Biden said that there have been 83 attempts this year alone in 29 states to restrict voting rights. The measures stiffen requirements on identification needed to vote, or limit or end early voting. "These moves to limit the right to vote are nothing more than

It is time to be honest, Joe.

1. Voter rights extend to legal voters who have a right to suppress and exclude exclude illegal votes from being cast. Illegal votes dilute the influence of a legal voter´s right to a fair election.

2. Voter fraud has been repeatedly documented and is there for consideration by any person with an open mind willing to look at reality.

3. Attempts to enforce voting laws are proper since those laws are there to for a reason; to ensure a fair election. Why do you oppose fair elections, Joe?

If you ever wondered whether the Dimocrats actually benefit from voter fraud, just look at how hard they fight against measures to curtail it. The harder they fight against integrity, the more they lie and distort, the more it becomes clear how much they benefit from the fraud.

Biden and other Democrats want the polls open until late as possible. That way, they can delay reporting the results until after all the conservative leaning districts have reported. They cannot know how many votes are needed to win until after the conservative districts have all turned in their vote totals.

By now we´re probably up to ten million active illegal voters (and counting) who´ve been voting since Teddy Kennedy´s amnesty bill in 1986, Clinton´s Motor Voter Act in 1995, and ACORN reps signing up millions of imaginary voters since then.

So what restrictions?

But there should be.

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department expects to bring criminal charges in the coming months in investigations involving financial institutions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday as he called for better incentives for Wall Street whistleblowers who report crime. Holder did not describe the investigations in a speech at New York University’s law school except to say that they’re “focused on the conduct of individuals” and involve wrongdoing that has undermined the financial markets. He used the address to urge Congress to raise a cap on the amount of money that a whistleblower can receive for reporting misconduct. Such cooperation is essential since

Given the massive effort behind convincing us that Obamacare is a resounding success, it’s almost surprising that a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll found support languishing at 34%. Part of the problem is the credibility Obamacare supporters lose by attempting to prove two questionable propositions. First, that Obamacare is having a positive impact on our health care system and, second, that it’s doing so without any negative impact on our economy. For example, a recent report by the Urban Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, both Obamacare supporters, found “little evidence” that Obamacare’s employer mandate is affecting part time employment.

Yesterday, former Vice President Al Gore presented his fourth annual ‘24 Hours of Reality.’ Broadcast to millions of people, the event is “dedicated to sparking action on climate change.” As with most Gore productions, only carefully pre-screened questions are allowed from journalists. Considering what’s at stake—billions of dollars, millions of jobs, and, if Gore is right, the fate of the global environment—that is not good enough. Reporters must be encouraged to ask any questions they like. Several leading climate experts were asked what question they would most like media to ask Gore in a public forum.
