Boehner Border Group Offers Plan
Breitbart Big Government, by Jonathan Strong

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 7/23/2014 2:45:16 PM

A working group of lawmakers appointed by Speaker John Boehner released a set of recommendations to the House GOP conference Wednesday, including $1.5 in new spending and proposals to send the National Guard to the border and require the Obama administration to form a border security plan as tens of thousands of illegal alien children stream across the border. The proposal faces an uncertain future, with congressional Democrats digging in with opposition to amending a 2008 human trafficking law that has been cited as an obstacle to deporting the children while the recommendations produced pockets of opposition on the right.

THIS is a plan? To throw in some money and then "require" Obama to come up with the plan? A good title would be The Pass the Buck Border Plan.

Grumps are all over the political threads today, seeing nothing but doom ahead, no matter the subject.

Not I. If Boehner has a plan, go for it. If there is a wave a´building in November for the GOP, hallelujah.

The true doom hanging over us is a reinforced Dem Senate majority in November allowing Obama to run even farther and more profligately amok. Surely, none of us want that. Do we?

If there´s one person I trust it´s Matt Salmon. He is conservative, he does want the border closed and he does have integrity. I hear people complain all the time why doesn´t congress do something. They seem to have a good start to a bill here.

A good preamble to your treatise would be to reminds us all of what glorious things Speaker Boehner has done for America during his tenure.

The liberal Democrats are not about to allow the Republicans to change their 2008 Wilberforce sex trafficking bill that they worked for many years to pass. In 2008 it passed by a veto proof margin with Bush having no choice but to sign it into law.

That law was never designed to apply to a mass migration of illegal alien children that we are now seeing occur, or to stop mass migrations coming across the border from Mexico. The exemptions in that liberal Democrat law were actually designed to render the USA defenseless in effectively dealing with the mass migration of young illegal aliens that we are seeing today. Obama caused this illegal migration by consistently talking up granting a big amnesty, especially the liberal Democrat invented "Dream Act" to young illegal aliens who claim they were brought into the USA before age 16 either by their parents or alien smugglers and who the Democrats know would quickly become politically active in immigrant communities once they are legalized. It readily became clear to people around the world that the Obama and liberal Democrat intention is to grant an amnesty to all young illegal aliens. They also know that once granted amnesty that the legalized children could then bring his or her entire close foreign family into the USA, and that on into the future that the liberal Democrats intend that all young illegal aliens, when found in the USA, would be exempted from being deported and allowed to stay as prospective "Dream Act" beneficiaries. If the liberal Democrat amnesty plans go through they know that in the years ahead that the Democrats are eventually bound to pick up tens of millions of new foreign born and socialist oriented new voters. That´s what this is all about.

A plan to force Obama to make a plan does not sound encouraging. Obama will ignore what he doesn´t want anyway.

The choice seems simple to me. Boehner can either do things the Democrats want or he can do nothing. Neither is good for the nation.

And over in the Senate the GOP leadership seems even less able than Boehner.

Many Republicans are excited about the midterm elections. They see a good chance of taking over the Senate, which means they can neutralize Obama’s last few years in office. Many also are hopeful about the presidential election in 2016, though Hillary Clinton will enter that race with decided advantages. Regaining the presidency, some believe, will lead to a reprise of Ronald Reagan’s presidency, in which the country was turned from its leftward drift under Jimmy Carter. Yet even if this scenario unfolds as the Republicans hope, it is doubtful the deeper structural problems of the country will be solved. The entitlement

It doesn’t take a genius to know there’s a huge philosophical divergence between the socialist democratic party and the constitutionalist GOP (note the word ‘constitutionalist’). The tightly unified party of progressive socialists believe that massive, oppressive government is authorized to have a boot at every citizen’s throat, while Republicans are supposed to believe in the constitution and a limited government that adheres to the rule of law. But the GOP is no longer unified nor does it stand for adhering to the U.S. Constitution. Swept up by a ‘kinder, gentler’ political correctness, the GOP’s ideology has waffled on the role of

HOUSTON, Texas -- Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was found not guilty today by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals. That decision tossed out the convictions on money laundering and conspiracy charges. At that time Justice Melissa Goodwin wrote “The fundamental problem with the state´s case was its failure to prove proceeds of criminal activity,” according to a September 19th report on Breitbart News.

Even though Republicans may take back the Senate by running against amnesty, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush pushed amnesty legislation while stumping for North Carolina Republican Senate candidate Thom Tillis on Wednesday. Bush, according to the New York Times, reportedly said that comprehensive immigration reform "will restore and sustain economic growth for this country." And even though a recent Gallup poll found that illegal immigration is now the top concern among Republicans, Bush said that if immigration reform is "framed in that way, I don’t think there’s a big debate in the Republican Party about the need to do this."
