LA Street Artist Blasts Obama

Truth Revolt, by Staff

As President Obama arrives in Los Angeles for his $32,000 per plate fundraiser at the home of Shonda Rhimes this week, a local street artist is pointing out the irony of the producer of the hit TV show Scandal, a show about a Washington public relations firm that specializes in managing political scandals, hosting the producer of such actual scandals as the cover-up surrounding the Benghazi attack, the lost hard-drives of IRS officials targeting conservatives, and the Fast and Furious gun running scheme. Posters went up Monday night all over Hollywood around Rhimes´s Hancock Park home and the Sunset Gower Studios

Hey, wait a minute, what’s with the respirators? We were told there’s no risk of airborne Ebola. Secondly, gee, how’d you like to be a neighbor, or live in the same building…. Yikes. Would you stay? DALLAS – A hazmat team finally arrived on scene today to sanitize the contaminated apartment where the Ebola victim’s family have been quarantined under police guard as it was revealed ten people are being considered ‘high risk’ for the deadly virus. It appears the fulcrum of Turkish sensitivity and support for ISIS has been identified. The tipping point reached. As we previously outlined, the action of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Erdogan reflected a tacit alliance with the overall goals of ISIS. However, also as previously discussed, we anticipated a forced political shift as the Kurdish populations continued to be driven in greater numbers toward the Turkish borders. Our educated hunch was the quid-pro-quo (which led to the quiet release of the 49 Turkish hostages) included an acceptance by Erdogan to allow the Sunni jihadists, ISIS, a certain amount of, well, ‘Islamic

It’s a story nearly every grade-schooler knows: Every year, millions of monarch butterflies emerge from their chrysalises in the northern United States and southern Canada. By the time the leaves start to change color in the fall, they take to the skies in clouds of fluttering orange and black and embark on an arduous journey southward to their wintering grounds in the Oyamel fir forests in southern Mexico. Past financial deals of Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and Obama trade czar Michael Froman could be dragged into the administration’s bid to jam retroactive taxes on corporations that set up tax-avoiding operations overseas. Critics of the administration’s plan to end so-called corporate “inversions” are looking at the investments that both Obama officials had in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven, before joining Team Obama. If corporations are going to lose their tax advantages retroactively under a plan hatched by Lew and top officials, they said, then maybe there is a way to also target them through legislative amendments. Thanks to California water project deliveries, even in a third year of drought its level still fluctuates between 90 to 100% full — ensuring, along with its companion reservoirs, plentiful water for the Los Angeles-area municipalities for the next two years. In her just-released memoir, 27 year-old "Girls" star Lena Dunham claims that as a 19 year-old Oberlin College student in Ohio, she was raped by a college Republican. In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the "ill-fated evening of lovemaking" as awkward and hollow. The spin began soon after the threat was isolated. Information was selectively leaked. Half-truths and untruths were uttered. Responsibility was avoided; privileges and credentials asserted; authority reasserted. Trust us. Remain calm. Don’t panic. This is the template of recent events. President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
