Bordering on Madness

In a recent confrontation between protesters against the illegal flood of unaccompanied children into the United States and counter-protests by some Hispanic group, one man from the latter group said angrily, "We are as good as you are!" One of the things that make the history of clashes over race or ethnicity such a history of tragedies around the world is that -- regardless of whatever particular issue sets off these clashes -- many people see the ultimate stakes as their worth as human beings. On that, there is no room for compromise, but only polarization. That is why

Obama might think differently if his two daughters were almost killed by a drunk ( three times the legal limit) illegal alien, who plowed into them while they were stopped at a traffic light.

Maybe if he had seen the police car, fire truck and ambulance at the scene he would think twice about letting in more of them to injure and slaughter our loved ones.

Malia just got her license and one day will be off at college driving her car and could get hit by one of her father´s precious, illegal children all grown up.

Maybe THEN he might regret what he´s doing now.

School has not started, yet. When it does,
Obama´s fanny will hit the fire with irate American parents all across the Land finding their children sitting in the back of the bus of resources and spaces, to accommodate illegal aliens. Obama has made Americans third-class occupiers of their own country. Way to go ladies!

Country´s borders have nothing to do with the equality of men, but all to do with LAWS. Each Country has a border so that their laws are applied within their borders, and all Countries have a LEGAL immigration policy. Any person wishing to immigrate to the U.S. can apply legally. You are a citizen of the Country in which you are born and can apply to change your citizenship to the Country of your choice.

"We are as good as you are!"
Then why doesn´t your civilization indicate it?

Clean running water and sanitation are third world at best in Mexico and government corruption is no better than Banana Republic level. Coming here won´t fix your cultural problem, because you will never accept the American way, only seek to bring it down to your level, just like what´s been happening in Muslim infested cities in America, such as Nashville and Dearborn-istan.

"One of the reasons why many Americans are reluctant to keep out illegal immigrants -- ... -- is that most Hispanics they encounter seem to be decent, hard-working people."

This point led to an interesting conversation with family over the weekend. One in construction hires only hispanic, I assume illegal. We were told "any parent would want a better life for their children".

Trying to point out what is happening on the Texas border as something far removed from "better life for their children" when Honduran parents put 10 year old girls in the care of coyotes knowing they are likely to be raped was POINTLESS.

Pointing out the one person I know legally here on "the dream act" is beside herself in anguish over what is happening on the Texas border. Besides the risk of sexual harm to the girls she says they are sending the kids over thinking amnesty/citizenship will be automatic and immediate. My friend knows better.

We were told how lazy white people are and they can´t count on them to even show up to work. She never heard my argument about the crime against humanity on BOTH SIDES of the argument. I pointed to our next generation and said why should they have to pay and suffer? I asked what happens when school starts and they get lice, scabies, staph, viruses, etc. She had no answer. Just counting her money so she can put it in the offering plate on Sunday.

"We are just as good as you are." Talk about beside the point. If we don´t permit them to come here illegally it must be because we are racists? We certainly have a nerve,Thinking we have a right to pass such offensive laws.

Real estate taxes pay for schools, and I wouldn´t be surprised if all areas that are being infiltrated with illegal children experience a HUGE hit in home values, along with doubling of school taxes.

Nobody really knows how many illegal aliens are coming into the USA because the numbers the Obama crew puts out are based upon the numbers of illegal aliens that the border patrol has encountered at the borderline. The fact of that matter is as many as five times those numbers may be the actual number of illegal aliens coming across that borderline, since the border patrol knows that they are only catching a percentage of the total number of illegal aliens unlawfully coming across the borderline.

In addition, in recent history about half of the total illegal alien population group has gained entry to the USA with some very liberally issued temporary visa or border crossing card issued to them at an American embassy or consulate in their home countries all over the world. Once inside the USA, those aliens intending to join the massive illegal alien population group, simply disappear into the big liberal Democrat run sanctuary city, and stay indefinitely to await an expected amnesty.

In reality there could be over 20 million illegal aliens here now and not the low ball 11 million figure that the liberal Democrats have been putting out for years in an effort to minimize mass uncontrolled illegal immigration in the minds of the vast majority of Americans who do not pay attention. In addition, if the liberal Democrat amnesty passes, all the legalized aliens could bring all their close foreign relatives here in unlimited numbers.

Wrong question.
By definition, a country establishes its own laws, defends its own borders, and decides how (and whether) to admit new people.
It is not a question of how "good" a person is.
The question is whether the person who wishes to immigrate is willing to comply with OUR laws. Very simple.
And we have immigration laws, run through our Department of State.
Sorry, but there it is.
We could find out how many illegals are in the country. Military intelligence can do the job: assess the amount of food coming in, measure the sewage outflow, measure the traffic in and out, and so on. But we have a political football, so pols do NOT want to know. So they don´t find out.

How can they all even be counted when there are places for them to enter where there is no one to see them? This border thing feels like I´m in an alternate universe. It sure got IRS and other things off the front pages.

We know that conservatives are happier people than liberals, but did you know the latest social science says we’re neater people and smell better, too? From the wonderful annals of social science: A 2006 report from the Pew Research Center showed that 45% of conservative Republicans reported being very happy, as compared to 30% of liberal Democrats. According to the report, this “partisan happiness gap” had shown up in surveys every year since 1972. What explains the happiness gap? Some scientists have argued that it can be attributed to personality differences between the two groups or different thinking styles–that conservatives

Hard-charging radio commentator Mark Levin is sick of waiting for the Republican Party to nominate a conservative for president, and today he outlined his plan to accomplish just that. Speaking at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, the talk radio giant and bestselling author issued a call to action to the crowd of social conservatives, prescribing a grassroots movement to elect a conservative to the White House in 2016. Levin lamented that Americans under age 50 haven’t yet had the chance to vote for a true conservative such as Ronald Reagan for president and called on conference attendees to spend the next

The Middle East is like a vast dysfunctional family. Western leftists like to place all the blame on Israel, but for 1,300 years before modern Israel declared its independence, Muslims were routinely killing each other, following the rule: Me against my brother, my brothers and me against our cousins, my clan against the world. One of the weirdest moves in this dysfunctional culture is for Arabs and Turks to accuse each other of being secret Jews. (Snip) But! Today, science comes to the rescue, in the form of DNA analysis. From the window of his Paris home, Michel Ciardi can see into the waiting room of a government welfare agency where a predominantly Arab and African crowd awaits government checks. A former communist, Ciardi once believed the scene at the agency was a necessary element of French efforts to help integrate new immigrants. But that changed in 2000 after the second Palestinian intifada triggered a massive increase in anti-Semitic violence, much of it committed by Arab and African immigrants. The violence was enough to shift his political allegiance to the National Front, a far-right party long demonized by

President Obama this week committed professional suicide. Let me explain. There is a theory in politics that once a leader has fired 50 or more people from his or her administration, he or she is finished. The reason being that by creating so many enemies ‘outside the tent’, the tent itself becomes too deluged with poisonous bile to avoid sinking into a quagmire of back-stabbing ignominy. Obama went a lot further than firing 50 people. He managed to single-handedly alienate 200,000 employees in the American intelligence agencies by going on 60 Minutes and ruthlessly chucking them all under a bus

This is the highest appellate court in Texas for criminal cases and thus brings DeLay’s political persecution to an end. The court upheld the ruling last year from the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals.
