Kerry promises $47 million in
humanitarian aid to Gaza

Agence France Presse, by Staff

CAIRO: The United States will provide $ 47 million (35 million euros) in humanitarian aid to help Palestinians hit by Israel´s campaign in the Gaza Strip, Secretary of State John Kerry pledged Monday. (Snip) Of the funding, the United States will provide $15 million to the UNRWA, the Palestinian refugee agency, to meet part of its $60 million appeal for assistance due to the crisis. The remaining $32 million will come from the US Agency for International Development, including $10 million that was already directed toward the Palestinians but will be rechanneled to meet immediate needs, the State Department said.

Comments:
I don´t care how they move it around. That is OUR money.

Who authorizes this kind of largesse?

And how do we hear of it? Via an AP blurb (that has disappeared from one source) and an AFP piece picked up by the Times of India in New Delhi. Seriously.

Dork. Your not helping anyone except Hamas. Your helping them buy more weapons and produce more rockets. Kerry goes to Cairo to meet Ki-moon and I´ll bet al-sisi had nothing to do with either one of them.

As Krauthammer noted this evening, this money will be used to build more concrete & steel tunnels. Although a portion will be used to build mansions in the South of France for Hamas´ leadership. If Obama settles on his post election home, Hamas may switch mansion locations to the lots next door. Muslim Bros stick together.

1) The citizens of the Gaza Strip elected leaders of Hamas to represent them.

2) For years, Hamas has fired multiple rockets into Israel from Gaza (since 2001, more than 15,000 rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel).

3) Hamas and its branch organizations have declared that they will not rest until Israel (our ally) ceases to exist.

4) The military wing of Hamas has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, the European Union, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, and others.

5) The United Nations Human Rights Council has condemned the Hamas Charter.

6) Hamas receives its financial support from Palestinian expatriates, wealthy private Middle-Eastern donors, Muslim charities, and Iran (and possibly, Russia).

7) FTA: "The US is sending $47 million in humanitarian aid to the besieged Gaza Strip..." - this is U.S. taxpayer money.

8) The U.S. actions are a slap in the face to Israel, unfathomable, and insane – absolutely insane.

Why is it "representative" government when this unqualified, but well-connected buffoon pledges the coin out of my pocket to some cause I do not support. And when it comes to a majority opposition to the swarming hoards of undocumented aliens, which citizens are loudly protesting?? WHO, EXACTLY is "representing" ME? The many of us? Where is my representation, the interests of our great country?? We are witnessing the fall of America, and for lack of opposition leadership there seems to be little to do about it. I think "they" are counting on that.

KYOTO, Japan — North and South Korea have agreed to hold another round of high-level talks after a top-level Northern delegation, including the men thought to be second and third in command behind Kim Jong Un, paid a surprise visit to the South on Saturday. Officials at the Dallas hospital treating the first Ebola patient diagnosed in the U.S. have conceded that doctors handling the case knew when the patient was initially turned away that he had traveled to Texas from Africa. They said the miscommunication was due to a flaw in the electronic medical record system. But a new statement suggests that doctors were indeed made aware of Duncan´s travel history. Earlier this week, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital officials said that emergency room doctors who first treated the man, Thomas Eric Duncan, were not aware that had recently arrived from Africa, even though a nurse who questioned

ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close.
