You would think that with the ongoing violence in the Middle East, the recent international air disaster over Ukraine, and the massive influx of illegal immigrants on our Southern border, the White House would cancel the president´s upcoming trip to the West Coast for Democratic party fundraisers. But you would be wrong. Mr. Obama is scheduled to leave Washington Tuesday and headline a party event in Seattle later that night. He will then attend Democratic fundraisers in California before returning to Washington on Thursday. White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters Monday that Mr. Obama effectively can do his

The creature must be high on crack. He exists only for the next hit; the next function whereby the star of the show is he,the applause; the spiffy flights on AF1 in order to show everyone he is SOMEONE that has made it. Oh, and let us not forget he needs the rush of all that money that seems to be generated. He must have it all. After all, his candle is burning at both ends. It will not last much longer and the light bringer will turn to darkness.

Congress, or someone, needs to send him a fricking bill for all the travel he has accumulated for PARTISAN events. Isn´t this somehow illegal? If it is, no one is calling him on it.

Perhaps it is time that the speechmaker be required to show true necessity with regard to the us of AF1.

I suggest the following:

1. AF1 is to be used for purely state-level events.

2. Fund-raising events must coincide with the aforementioned state event.

3. Presidential appearance at any fund raising event will be regarded as a taxable event, chargable to the ultimate benefactor of said fund raising.

I welcome your thoughts/comments.

Where is all of this money going? It is an incredible stash that is being accumulated and yet, it seems to not make a huge difference in the Democrat National Committee budget. Is it a personal war chest? Is it to suddenly flood out the airwaves for a hand-picked nominee such as Warren?
Is there any accountability for all these funds? Talk about being secretive.

WASHINGTON- Republicans controlling the House unveiled a short-term spending bill Tuesday that would keep the government open into mid-December and provide $88 million to battle the Ebola outbreak. The spending measure will also extend the authority of the Export-Import Bank to continue helping foreign buyers purchase U.S. exports until June 30, The upcoming Nov. 1 expiration of the bank´s authority has caused divisions between main street Republicans eager to help American businesses and conservatives who consider it government interference in the marketplace. GOP leaders have crafted the spending package to avoid a repeat of last year´s politically damaging partial government

President Obama in a primetime speech Wednesday night will lay out “the next offensive phase” in the U.S. conflict with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, the White House said Tuesday. But the speech will not provide details about the specific military tactics the U.S. plans to use, how much it will cost or how long it will last. The president’s speech at 9 p.m., a high-volume viewing time, means that the president believes that fighting Islamic State is a “high national security priority," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters Tuesday.

Wisconsin prosecutors on Tuesday are asking a federal appeals court to allow them to restart an investigation into possible illegal coordination between Governor Scott Walker´s campaign and special interest groups during elections in 2011 and 2012. The investigation was halted in May by U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Randa, who ruled in favor of Wisconsin Club for Growth, which filed a federal lawsuit in an attempt to halt an investigation launched in 2012 by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, a Democrat. The conservative organization in February accused investigators of sidelining them from political activities, violating their rights to free

The tea party hero, who aggressively pushed the anti-Obamacare strategy that spurred last year’s 16-day government shutdown, has seized on immigration executive moves from the Obama administration as the root cause of the border crisis this summer. Although Obama said this weekend that he would delay any executive actions on immigration until the end of the year, Cruz indicated Tuesday that he
