WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama said Joe Biden would make a "superb" president, but questioned whether his vice president or potential rival Hillary Clinton would want to endure another campaign for the White House, a media report Monday said. Obama, in an interview with the New Yorker, said Biden "has seen the job up close, he knows what the job entails. He understands how to separate what´s really important from what´s less important. I think he´s got great people skills. He enjoys politics, and he´s got important relationships up on the Hill (in Congress) that would serve him well." "Joe would

Plugs Biden has been on the wrong side of history all his life. Admittedly better than Obama, who has been creating the wrong side of history for 5 years.

Even contemplating this prospect is really bad for one´s digestion.

Biden was described in Mark Lebovich´s recent inside Washington bestseller This Town:

Mr. Leibovich describes Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as "endowed with all the magnetism of a dried snail." Vice President Joe Biden is "a lovable rodeo clown of the Obama administration." The Clintons come across as mean and predatory. Mr. Leibovich is especially good on the incestuous relationship between the linked worlds of politics and media in the nation´s capital. He cites the temporary pretense of MSNBC´s "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough as a possible presidential candidate as "the ultimate example of the political-media complex flying up its own [orifice]."

The Dem field for 2016: Clinton, Biden, Warren, and throw in Gore for laughs. The scarey thought is the most competent of the four might be Biden. (shudder) Biden might be the most moderate of the four as well so he would lose. The biggest lefty of the four is...Gore? The flake award definitely goes to Gore. The sense of entitlement award would go to Clinton. The left could support Warren, and state its time to elect a native American. Just look at all the Redskin nonsense.

In a prescient article, Daniel Greenfield states that “on September 11, thousands were murdered in one day. The Democrats don’t like calling what happened on that day an act of war. Americans however know it’s a war and are determined to win.” The Democratic equivocation about the meaning of war not only fails to acknowledge that we are in a war, but fails also to acknowledge the scope of that war. If 9/11 ushered in WWIII, then our perspective about individual conflicts – e.g., the implications for winning the war against ISIS in Iraq – are far-reaching. We are not

It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.
