The Explosive, Inside Story of How
John Kerry Built an Israel-Palestine
Peace Plan—and Watched It Crumble

New Republic, by Ben Birnbaum & Amir Tibon

At around noon on March 20 last year, Air Force One landed at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport for Barack Obama’s first presidential visit to Israel. The three-day trip had been billed as an Israeli reset—the newly reelected president’s bid for a clean slate with the Jewish state after four years of icy relations. Obama would lay a wreath at the tomb of Theodor Herzl, the father of Zionism. He would visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. He would address an auditorium packed with Israeli students. And, of course, he would meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Before heading

Someone in here said it best. Kerry is a jester of the court. It´s obvious why Obama chose him to fail like everything else Obama has done...on purpose.

Kerry is probably at the yacht club claiming that everyone else is an idiot and that his genius is not appreciated.

Kerry, Obama and Hillary are perfect examples of my father´s assertion that senators should never be elected to any other office, probably including the Senate. They are imperious incompetents who are out of touch with the people and with reality. They think that their word should be law...judges are often that same way, like Holder, who was a judge in the DC Superior Court years ago.

We have the worst of all possible combinations in this administration.

Big John Kerry is still trying to gracefully dance into the world’s spotlight and be welcomed with a standing applause at our expense. He and we would be far better served with him wind surfing and chatting up his genius at the yacht club.

Why are we still supporting and giving money to Palestine. Do they put that money to any good purpose, or just buy arms from Iran.

Did it ever occur to anyone at State to use the continuous supply of financial support as a hammer to keep them in line. The answer to both questions is no.

#8... thank you for your service and comments. I read the whole article and while interesting, it is a compilation of slanted views from both sides and really doesn´t give a complete picture. The sheer ineptness and dishonesty of our current Administration boggles the mind. Susan Rice is more of the same. Kerry is still insufferable as usual.

A lengthy article the says much but doesn´t reveal the real problem behind the situation. The one thing that drives the Muslim world is just who is the rightful heir of Abraham and his covenant with the Almighty. The Muslims claim the it is Ishmael who was born first by of a servant girl. Issac, who what born later by his wife Sarah was the intended one that God had mentioned. Now, the Jews occupied that portion of the middle east ever since it was conquered by Joshua and maintained it until the Romans conquered them. After that, I don´t remember who controlled that land, but the crusaders took control of it nearly a thousand years ago and held it until Saladin defeated them and took control of it. Now, according to the Muslims, once they have conquered a land, it remains theirs for all eternity. So, we have modern day´s fight between Muslims and Jews. And it will NEVER stop until the return of our blessed Savior, Jesus Christ. And all of the talking isn´t going to stop it.

My goodness, Kerry and Øbama are such amateurs in a sea of very sophisticated, sharkis, sharp, and intensely committed politicians.

Let me say, by comparison, it is as if Kerry and Øbama are playing in a bath tub with rubber ducks while their counterparts in these highly charged negotiations with human lives at stake are navigating Icelandic fjords in Battleships and cruisers.

Most Texas abortion clinics shut down

ATLANTA — Texas, America’s second-most populous state behind California, saw 13 of its last abortion clinics turn away women on Friday, after a federal appeals court upheld a law that practically guarantees that only a handful of clinics will remain open in the state. The strictest-of-its-kind Texas law requires abortion providers to build hospital-grade facilities and obtain sometimes impossible-to-get hospital admitting privileges. After signed into law last year by Gov. Rick Perry (R), the law forced most of the 41 clinics operating to close. Thursday’s ruling wiped out a brief victory this summer for abortion rights proponents,

The president promises to lawlessly amnesty millions of illegal aliens on his own say-so, enabling them to get work cards, Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, EITC, foreign travel documents, and the rest. But there are executive powers that he really does possess that he’s not using. Senator Sessions has helpfully provided a number of “lawful, constitutional executive actions” that the president should already be undertaking but isn’t: Complete the border fence that Congress has previously passed into law; Create the exit-entry system to track foreign visa-holders, which Congress has repeatedly mandated; Cancel visas

With Ebola making its way to the United States, people are rushing to find more information on the deadly disease. The Centers for Disease Control released a new chart on how contagious Ebola is compared to other diseases. The results may surprise you, according to IJReview. What you’re seeing is an evaluation of how contagious the Ebola virus actually is compared to previous epidemics, namely: Hepatitis C, HIV, SARS, Mumps, and Measles. As Michaeleen Doucleff reported, these little icons of pink and red people reflect the disease’s relative R0 or R(nought) scores. The red person is the disease carrier, and the pink people

Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reassures us, “I have no doubt that we’ll stop this in its tracks in the U.S.” President Obama also told us two weeks ago that “the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low.” Tell that to the 100 Texans who

Commencement speeches can be amusing, inspiring or, in the worst (some would say even the best) case, a bit dull. Schools tend to choose corporate CEOs, politicians and celebrities to send off the graduating class with a speech meant to give graduates a glimpse of what they can achieve if they work hard in the years that lie before them. Goddard College, a small liberal arts school in Plainfield, Vt., wanted a different kind of speaker. The graduating class chose a cop killer. The U.S. economy added 248,000 jobs in September, and the unemployment rate dropped to 5.9 percent. It’s called dereliction of duty when one knowingly dismisses the faithful execution of his or her prescribed duties in fulfilling their responsibility. I said so Monday evening with Greta von Susteren, and will continue to do so. And if anything represents “high crimes and misdemeanors” it’s the dereliction of duty that has resulted in the deaths of Americans – by beheadings. Thursday while speaking at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, President Barack Obama giggled and raised his arms as he mocked the Fox News Channel for it´s reporting on ObamaCare. Obama said, "There is a reason fewer Republicans, you hear them running around about ObamaCare, cause while good affordable health care might seem like a fanged threat to the freedom of the American people on Fox News it turns out its working pretty well in the real world."
