PM to Gaza Arabs:
Hamas Will Get You Killed

Arutz Sheva [Israel], by Yosef Berger

Original Article

In an interview with the BBC on Sunday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had a special message for Gaza residents: Get rid of Hamas before they get you killed. “We are shooting only at the sites where terrorists are shooting at us,” Netanyahu said. “We have asked the civilian population to leave, but Hamas is making them stay, turning them into human shields.” As Netanyahu spoke in the interview, Hamas was in the midst of violating yet another “humanitarian” cease-fire that the terror group had requested. Via the Red Cross, Hamas asked for the cease-fire to allow it remove dead bodies from the Shejiaya neighborhood in Gaza,

Comments:
As Israel continues to ´thread a needle through this camel´s eye," Hamas shows the world that its citizens are to be used as human shields. When will the UN jump in and join the condemnation of this act against basic humanity and the rules of war?

What does one expect from a political entity that encourages children to strap on explosives and blow themselves up in the name of religion?

The UN? When UNRWA handed the 20 rockets it found in one of its schools TO HAMAS and not a peep out of the UN, you think the UN is going to do anything to help? When the UN has brokered now 2 truces for Hamas to break by launching rockets and terrorist attacks, you think they are really going to anything to help? When Hamas uses UN ambulances full of children to get around and escape Israeli airstrikes and the UN says nothing, you think the UN is going to help?

An overwhelming 71 percent of Americans support airstrikes against the terrorist Islamic State group and 65 percent want expanded U.S. strikes, according to a new poll released Tuesday. The ABC News/Washington Post poll found growing support for military action, with 90 percent of U.S. voters describing the Islamic State group as a “serious threat.” Support of expanding airstrikes spans the political spectrum, with backing by 74 percent of Republicans and 60 percent of Democrats. Support for arming Kurdish fighters who oppose the Islamic militants has climbed 13 points, to 58 percent, in just the past month — another

Nike Inc. (NKE) terminated its endorsement contract with Ray Rice after the online release of a video of the former Baltimore Ravens running back punching his then-fiancee unconscious. Rice is no longer a Nike athlete, spokesman Brian Strong said today in an e-mail. The 27-year-old Rice, who led the Ravens in rushing for the past five seasons, had been with the world’s largest sporting goods maker since 2008. (Snip) The running back’s wife wrote a post on her Instagram account this morning defending her husband. She blamed the media for pushing the story to “gain ratings.”

Detroit - With a thumb swipe on a smartphone, your car one day will be able to drive into a parking deck, find an open spot and back into a space — all by itself. Technology being honed by French auto parts maker Valeo uses a dozen ultrasonic sound-wave sensors, 360-degree cameras and a laser scanner to safely park within a few centimeters of other vehicles. Then, when you’re done with dinner or a business meeting, the car will return to you after another swipe of the thumb. The potential benefits are plenty. More orderly parking means less congestion. Drivers are spared the time and frustration of the hunt for a spot.

The Ray Rice suspension became such a big story on Monday it even sparked reaction from the White House. The news of Rice being cut by the Ravens and then indefinitely suspended by the NFL after video surfaced of the running back hitting his then-girlfriend broke during a daily press briefing in Washington. At the time White House spokesman Josh Earnest responded in a general way to domestic violence but had not had a chance to speak with President Obama about the specific incident. Later Monday, the White House released a statement attributed to Earnest: "The President is the father of two daughters.

What’s in a name? It turns out, a lot, according to a video posted by Buzzfeed by a man named José Zamora. He was searching for a job online and had sent in dozens of applications and resumes, without yielding any interviews. So he decided to try a little experiment by dropping the “s” and the accent mark from his name, becoming just “Joe.” The résumés and application information he sent as Joe were identical, except for the name. As the video explains, he almost immediately started getting responses from potential employers. We don’t know much else about José Zamora than what this video tells, but it does raise a lot of

Condoleezza Rice made a startling admission to the New York Times in 2002. The then-national security adviser to President George W. Bush said it was “absolutely right” that she wanted to be commissioner of the National Football League. This was no joke. Rice was serious, but she wanted it to be known that she wouldn’t want to do it “before Paul Tagliabue is ready to step down.” Well, Tagliabue is long gone and his successor Roger Goodell has made a mess of it. Time for the former secretary of state with an intense love of the game to step in and save the NFL. We’d all seen the chilling video back in February of Baltimore

In a fascinating interview with Charlie Rose, David Brooks–who is now teaching moral philosophy at Yale–spoke, among many other topics, about Viktor Frankl, the Austrian neurologist and psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor. Dr. Frankl, in his book Man’s Search for Meaning, deals with the fact that he was living a life he didn’t plan for. Living in a concentration camp obviously isn’t what he hoped for. The crucial question became not what Frankl wanted out of life; it was what he would do with the hand he had been dealt. Dr. Frankl decided, “Suffering became a problem upon which I did not want to turn my back.”

People who work hard, and who work with others in a good way.” The six-month training program, which will begin in February 2015,

As the moon wheels around Earth every 28 days and shows us a progressively greater and then stingier slice of its sun-lightened face, the distance between moon and Earth changes, too. At the nearest point along its egg-shaped orbit, its perigee, the moon may be 26,000 miles closer to us than it is at its far point. And should the moon happen to hit its ever-shifting orbital perigee at the same time that it lies athwart from the sun, we are treated to a so-called supermoon, a full moon that can seem close enough to embrace — as much as 12 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than the average full moon.

The first phase, an air campaign with nearly 145 airstrikes in the past month, is already underway to protect ethnic and religious minorities and American diplomatic, intelligence and military personnel, and their facilities, as well as to begin rolling back ISIS gains in northern and western Iraq.

Kerry invokes comparisons to the Sunni Awakening, seeking to recall the days when al-Qaeda in Iraq was beaten by George Bush. Obama plans to organize the Sunni Arabs to fight ISIS.

The Obama administration will make a decision on executive action to prevent corporations from leaving the country in the "very near future," Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said Monday morning. Speaking at an event on business taxes at the Urban Institute in Washington, Lew placed the responsibility on Congress to address so-called tax inversions, but said that the administration was prepared to step in if lawmakers don´t move quickly enough. Inversions are tax maneuvers in which corporations buy firms in low-tax countries in order to place their headquarters in that country. Such deals have grown in number in recent months, with
