McDaniel: GOP must be ´purged´ of
people who accuse fellow members
of racism

The Hill (Washington, D.C.), by Elise Viebeck

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 7/19/2014 5:26:10 PM

Missisippi state Sen. Chris McDaniel (R) said the Republican Party should be "purged" of people who paint their fellow members as racists. McDaniel made the comment Friday while lambasting his primary runoff loss against Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) on June 24, which he blamed on "race-baiting" by Cochran´s allies. "They hired Democratic operatives to go out into Democratic communities and call me a racist," said McDaniel, who still has not conceded in the race. "That´s despicable," he went on. "It goes to show that there are elements within our own party that have to be purged … There are elements within our own party

Comments:
Chris is 200% correct in his words. Yet, the DemocRats brethren, the Social Progressive RepublicRats, will employ any Immoral tactic to retain their control and power at the Government Feeding Trough. The resident Cackling Hens of the Social Progressive RepublicRat Breakfast Club are the Canaries int Coal Mine on the current deficiencies actually ailing the Republican Party. Allowing Honest Voting by the Voter Base is a MUST. Changing the Hearts and Minds of the Electorate is the other.

There are so many voters whom see their political parties (democrats, and republicans), as they see their sports clubs.

Their basketball or football or baseball or political clubs can be caught shaving point, and fixing the outcomes, yet as fans they remain loyal: I hope some of the ´sisters´ on this site will think about that.

I think the tactics used were disgraceful. But I also think McDaniel should shut his trap. He´s not one to speak of disgraceful tactics. The things he´s said in the past about libertarians are just as vile. No one comes out of MS looking good.

The rationalizations for Obama’s failures are already beginning, and Tom Friedman employs the laziest of all strategies, tearing down a great man to make a small man look bigger. In his Sunday column in the New York Times, Friedman makes a number of highly dubious points. These days there is a lot of “if-only-Obama-could-lead-like-Reagan” talk by conservatives. I’ll leave it to historians to figure out years from now who was the better president. On the question of the domestic economy, there can be little doubt. Reagan inherited far higher unemployment and high inflation, and within a year or so had the nation

Sarah Palin is known for having the backs of conservatives. Nicolle Wallace is not. President Obama insists he will not have “boots on the ground” in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), but the line between a combat and advisory role is blurry. Obama plans to send more than 1,600 troops to Iraq as “advisers” to the military, and all of them could find themselves in harm´s way. About 800 of the troops are providing security for diplomatic personnel and property, including infantry soldiers and Marines. Although they do not have a combat mission, they are armed and prepared to defend themselves. Several hundred more troops will work closely with Iraqi and

Conservative scholar and talk radio host Mark Levin said the GOP is "a party in trouble" that must nominate a bold conservative for president in 2016 if they do not want to get walloped yet again. Speaking at Values Voter Summit on Saturday with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, Levin, who is cementing himself as the intellectual godfather for conservatives in the age of Obama, said moderate candidates favored by the establishment and stand for nothing will never appeal to Americans who are hungry for leadership. U.S. Army Pvt. Bowe Bergdahl was described as a hero by President Obama in a White House Rose Garden ceremony this past summer. Paul Sperry of the Hoover Institution recently wrote an authoritative article on Bergdahl in the New York Post. This has “become a political powder keg for President Obama,” he said. You’ve seen this a lot in the last decade and a half: progressives asserting a moral equivalence between radial Islam and Christianity. The argument usually goes something like, “Yeah, sure, terrorists are bad, but they’re hardly the only people to kill in the name of their religion!” Then there’s the obligatory reference to the crusades. OK, sure, Christianity, like most religions, has had some less-than-flattering moments. But it’s history. If you can point me to the mass graves, severed heads or buildings for Christianity in our lifetime… no need to finish that sentence because there aren’t any. Christianity is an easy target

WASHINGTON — Hillary Rodham Clinton is the one figure uniting religious conservatives frustrated by a leaderless Republican Party that´s divided over foreign policy, immigration and social issues. The prospect of another Clinton White House stirred anguish at the Values Voter Summit this weekend where hundreds of conservative activists debated the GOP´s future and warned that the acknowledged but unannounced 2016 Democratic front-runner would cement what they see as President Barack Obama´s attack on religious freedom. We’re being had. Again. For six years, President Obama has endeavored to will the country into accepting two pillars of his alternative national-security reality. First, he claims to have dealt decisively with the terrorist threat, rendering it a disparate series of ragtag jayvees. Second, he asserts that the threat is unrelated to Islam, which is innately peaceful, moderate, and opposed to the wanton “violent extremists” who purport to act in its name. Political pollsters have a tough job. They have to create formulas to determine if the person they are interviewing is likely to vote, and it is within this calculation that their reputations are made. Typically, those who are likely to vote in an off-year election are pretty set. They are the people who always vote in elections — with some motivated by specific issues. In a wave election, the number of those motivated by specific issues escalates, changing the electoral landscape as the candidates who are beneficiaries of this increased participation sweep to victory.
