Outrage as France become first country
in world to ban pro-Palestine demos

Daily Mail [UK], by Peter Allen

Original Article

Posted By:Attercliffe, 7/19/2014 11:23:13 AM

France´s Socialist government provoked outrage today by becoming the first in the world to ban protests against Israeli action in Palestine. In what is viewed as an outrageous attack on democracy, Socialist Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said mass demonstrations planned for the weekend should be halted. [Snip] Thousands were set to march against the ongoing slaughter in Gaza, calling for an immediate end to hostilities in which civilians including many children have been killed. But Mr Cazeneuve fears there might be a repeat of the fights between ‘ultra’ Jewish vigilantes and pro-Palestinians which happened after a demonstration last Sunday.

Democracy is not a suicide pact. This "demonstration" was organized to destabilize the French government.

Some of those sweet, innocent protestors look like the unaccompanied children crossing our border. Good for France. This isn´t about free speech this is about curbing violence. The little brats can whine all they want still, they can´t form mobs to attack to synagogues.

When I slide into one of my anti-French rants, my DxH is quick to remind how often the French people came to his aid and comfort as his 3rd Army unit was trying to liberate that area. They loved us then.

As above, the decisions are NEVER EVER from the people. Like us, their commie, pinko, liberal leaders call the shots. This time a GREAT CALL was made. Viva!

Jews have been fleeing France for the last few years.
Muslims, especially from Magrebh, have come into France and taken advantage-sound familiar?-of their welfare system to fraudulently support numerous wives and children-all on the dole.
Villeneuve was supposed to be a model city -it became aa nightmare as Muslims began to overwhelm the system.
There have been numerous deaths-including young Jewish students murdered.
Looking at the Palestinian demonstrators with their balaclavas- chilling.
They are colonizers-not assimilators of Liberte Equalite and Fraternite!
Socialists vilified Sarkozy for cracking down on Islamists - they now realize these "youths" threaten ALL law abiding French who support Western values.
Palestinians are the flashpoint for riots- they cheered on 9/11- and must be treated as the savages they are.
Go IDF!

First, many posts take the opportunity to blame French Muslims for the violent protests and neglect to acknowledge that recent violence was "between ‘ultra’ Jewish vigilantes and pro-Palestinians." Do posters really believe that the "‘ultra’ Jewish vigilantes" share no responsibility?

Second, are posters opposed to what the article clearly states is a "march against the ongoing slaughter in Gaza, calling for an immediate end to hostilities in which civilians including many children have been killed?" Why is that not a proper cause?

Yes, I am opposed to "palestinians" mouthing off wherever they might be. There is no "slaughter" of innocent "palestinians" going on. The Israelis are simply defending themselves against terrorist savages who have been launching rockets and murdering civilians for years. There are no innocent "civilian palestinians" since all the terrorists are civilians, and all the civilians are terrorist supporters.

#14, your liberal slip is showing (again). You hate Jews, so you blame them for responding to thousands of rockets fired at civilian areas. Israel warns the Palestinians what their targets are, and don´t hide their faces and hide behind shields of women and children. You liberals are disgusting. As for your"march against slaughter", Hamas refuses to agree to a cease fire, which Israel honored until the Pals refused to.

Your post fails to respond to the content of my post and makes numerous factual errors which reveal more about you than about me or my post.

1. I do not hate Jews.

2. My post did not even mention blame for what is happening in the Mideast much less "blame them [Israelis] for responding to thousands of rockets fired at civilian areas." I addressed the situation regarding protests in FRANCE, which is the topic of the original article.

3. You say "You liberals are disgusting." What is disgusting to me is that you resorted to name calling rather than entering into a civil discussion on issues.

4. Perhaps the rockets would stop after Palestinians were allowed to form a fully sovereign, autonomous country of their own with all of the rights and privileges sovereignty brings and free of domination of their daily lives by neighboring nations.

Jumping to conclusions about a poster asking questions just because they don´t reflect ones own position is certainly unfair.
The past decades of inhabitants occupying Gaza were not Palestine by birth and Gaza was not their homeland. They were savage outlawed predators led by Arafat who had been tossed out of several nations.
They camped in Gaza because they were awaiting the destruction of Israel a legal and acknowledged nation so they could move in and to take something for nothing.
The other nations failed to destroy Israel and the Pals didn´t even attempt to build a real nation.

Perhaps you could answer the questions I posed in my original post (#14) regarding the situation in FRANCE (the topic of the original article:

1. “Do posters really believe that the "‘ultra’ Jewish vigilantes" share no responsibility?”

2. “Second, are posters opposed to what the article clearly states is a "march against the ongoing slaughter in Gaza, calling for an immediate end to hostilities in which civilians including many children have been killed?" Why is that not a proper cause?

You cite history saying "9 years ago 100% of the Jews left Gaza and opened the border to Israel. What ensued was a disaster for Israel which has finally reached the "I´ve had enough stage". As an addendum to the history you cite, I ask when Israel left Gaza, did they grant Gaza the status of a fully sovereign, autonomous country of their own with all of the rights and privileges sovereignty brings and free of domination of their daily lives by neighboring nations? Does Gaza control their own airspace? Their own territorial waters?

The French are spot on. Burning cars in Paris is not going to end the slaughter in Gaza, and should not be tolerated... and it is what these riots always result in.

Only the people in Gaza can end the violence in Gaza, and they can only do it if they evict the terrorists.

Hamas is a terrorist organization and Palestinians support them.
Good for France for banning protests aka pre-riots by pro- Palestinians.
Palestinians cheered on 9/11- they have chosen their path.
Hamas spends money on weapons and tunnels - they could have been building homes, businesses, schools and hospitals for their own people but CHOSE to focus on the destruction of Israel.
Go Bibi and IDF - time to end hamas´s terrorist haven.

Barren land, dams with no water reaching them, boats anchored in dried-up reservoirs and shrinking lake levels. These extraordinary images show the devastating impact the worst droughts in decades is having on the American West - and forecasters have predicted it is likely to continue. Around 430,000 acres of land will be left fallow in California - because there hasn´t been enough rain or snow coming from the nearby mountain ranges. Farmers - who are daily facing the prospect of losing their jobs and everything they have - are hoping for relief this winter, but the situation still remains dire.

Tony Blair is right. Before you harrumph and turn away, listen to his argument. It is--in short--that there is a global threat from militant Islamism. That it is spreading--and it is getting worse. And that we must act. It is clear that there is a fundamental problem with radical Islamism; clear that it is deep; clear that the solutions are not easy or presently to hand; clear that this is the work of a generation, not an election cycle; and clear--most important of all--that this is "our" challenge and not simply "theirs". Kurdish fighters have issued an urgent call to arms amid warnings of an impending massacre by the Islamic State terrorist group in northern Syria. The Kurdish People´s Protection Unit (YPG) has been locked in a fierce battle with IS and other Islamist groups almost since the start of Syria´s civil war. Despite being relatively isolated and receiving no foreign aid from any states the YPG has proven perhaps the most effective force in pushing back against IS. It was once said, “religion is designed to comfort the afflicted and to afflict the comfortable.” Jesus’ parables – short stories with moral lessons – were likewise designed to afflict, to draw us in but leave us uncomfortable. These teachings can be read as being about divine love and salvation, sure. But, their first listeners – first century Jews in Galilee and Judea – heard much more challenging messages. Only when we hear the parables as Jesus’ own audience did can we fully experience their power and find ourselves surprised and challenged today. Here are four examples of Jesus’ teachings that everybody gets wrong: 1.
