University of Wisconsin Faculty
Votes to Apportion Grades by Race

National Review Online, by Ian Tuttle

Earlier this year, the University of Wisconsin–Madison faculty senate adopted a new Framework for Diversity and Inclusive Excellence, which, according to the campus’s Board of Regents, “places the mission of diversity at the center of institutional life so that it becomes a core organizing principle.” Nothing new under the sun there. But UW economics professor W. Lee Hansen notes something profoundly disturbing in the framework, which apparently went unnoticed by the faculty and the administration: To achieve the plan’s vague aims, the Ad Hoc Diversity Planning Committee formulated five goals and thirty detailed recommendations. Unbeknownst to faculty senators, these goals and recommendations

This has been an unspoken policy for a long time in a lot of colleges and universities. And it really makes no difference if the subject is African American Studies or organic chemistry.

What about those persons of pallor that self-identify as minority? Just learned in my most recent "Diversity Training" Class that that is PERFECTLY acceptable and incapable of being challenged.
Heck, one can even change gender and minority class day to day!!! And no one can question it!!!!!

Blacks should be outraged, because they will now all be looked at as deficient, artificially propped up by a screwball system invented by bedwetting liberal white "intellectuals".

To be the African-American with the highest grades - - is to be the one-eyed man in the land of the blind.

And the idiots have no idea what a permanent stigma that becomes for all of them - - even for those few who deserve the high grades.

You can´t cure stupidity and/or leftism.

So the University of Wisconsin is willing to go on record as saying that blacks aren´t as smart as other people. That´s quite a surprise coming from a bunch of liberals.

If I was black, I´d consider other universities for an education (unless I felt I was unable to compete with others).

This just digs a deeper hole for blacks. Before I retired I spoke with many small businessmen every week. Almost all would say privately that they would never hire a black mainly because firing them left them open to being sued. If this trend by Wisconsin spreads then business owners everywhere will have one more reason not to hire a black person.

This is a terrible injustice to smart, decent black people but they need to stand up and oppose these fools. People like Dr. Sowell and Walter Williams will criticize this foolishness but they are few and far between.

The media gives all their attention to racist jackasses like Al and Jesse.

Speaking about such modest restrictions on abortion as have been enacted over the past several years, Justice Ginsburg lamented that “the impact of all these restrictions is on poor women.” Then she added: “It makes no sense as a national policy to promote

President Obama has put America at the center of a widening war by expanding into Syria airstrikes against the Islamic State, the Sunni extremist group known as ISIS and ISIL. He has done this without allowing the public debate that needs to take place before this nation enters another costly and potentially lengthy conflict in the Middle East. He says he has justification for taking military action against the Islamic State and Khorasan, another militant group. But his assertions have not been tested or examined by the people’s representatives in Congress. How are Americans to know whether they have the information

Scientists now report that 70 percent of infected patients are dying, up from 50 percent in previous reports. No grievance justifies these actions. There can be no reasoning — no negotiation — with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force.” The president is right as rain about that, but am I the only one who thinks the president made a mistake by going to the United Nations before going to the US Congress? The only outlier according to RCP’s poll averaging is that open Michigan race between Democratic Congressman Gary Peters and former Republican Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land. In just the past few weeks, the list of expected stops has shrunk, with several campaigns that were requesting the president as recently as late August now pulling back those requests. And the White House has itself grown more hesitant, reconsidering a tentative schedule circulated earlier this month out of concern that world events may force Obama to cut back his campaigning.
