John McCain: It´ll Take An Open
Borders GOP to Defeat Hillary

Breitbart InstaBlog, by Dan Riehl

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 7/18/2014 8:59:26 AM

Along with citing a list of moderate GOP governors with last names like Bush and Christie as potential 2016 GOP presidential candidates, "Arizona Sen. John McCain said Thursday that he believes Republicans can defeat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016, but only if they pass immigration reform." Calling Hillary Clinton the "odds-on favorite right now“ to win the White House in 2016, McCain added, "I expect it to be very competitive, except if we don’t enact some kind of comprehensive immigration reform, I do not see a way for us to really win a general election.”

Comments:
The real obstacle blocking the Republicans from winning national elections is its alliance with the crony capitalism of the Chamber of Commerce. The Reagan dems will never support those who advocate for depressed wages.

It will take a breath of fresh air to defeat Hillary.

Heard about a lady once told her pastor, "Pastor, what you need is unction". "What´s that?" asked the pastor. "I don´t know", responded the lady, "but you ain´t got it."

The GOP doesn´t have it either.

McCain isn´t all that bright and he has no problem in proving it. When he ran for POTUS, he had a secret weapon in Sarah Palin and he didn´t even realize it. He even let his inept campaign manager gag her so she could not get her effective patriotic message out to the people, thus allowing the overwhelmed democrats to mount the greatest smear campaign in history against her. Sarah unchained would have won him the presidency. I wonder if he even understands that to this day.

The GOP establishment, trying the same failed strategy over and over and over again hoping for a different outcome.

There is one litmus test that every Republican candidate must pass to move to the next round: do you support amnesty? If the answer is "yes" you´re out. Period.

And forget the mealy mouthed, slimy, obfuscating lies about securing the border first, pathways to citizenship, guest worker permits. All of it is just backdoor amnesty and everyone knows it. Anything less than sealing the southern border and allocating money for bus and plane tickets to deport 14 million illegal aliens is unacceptable.

I think we need to push the requirement that all members of Congress get an annual physical, and if they discover that a members mental capability is diminished, they have to step down.

Karl Rove and his Crossroads GPS PAC are about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the senate -- by campaigning to the left of incumbents Mark Pryor and Kay Hagan on behalf of Republican challengers Tom Cotton and Thom Tills. So blatant is this attempt in the latest round of TV ads that the Washington Post teased Rove with a headline that taunted him as a "bleeding heart liberal." Reporter/blogger Greg Sargent said in the story that the two ad campaigns "show Republicans once again hitting Dems from the left on entitlements." One of the most important tools humanity needs right now is frank speech about Islam. Unfortunately, in journalism, on campuses, and in politics, politically-correct speech codes demonize any analysis of Islam as "Islamophobia." Speech taboos are obeyed across a wide spectrum. In September, 2001, after the 9-11 attacks, President George Bush stated, "Islam is peace." In 2007, his fellow officers declined to take effective action against U.S. Army Major Nidal Hasan, even after he exhibited to them a PowerPoint presentation that cited the Koran to predict and support his subsequent, 2009 shooting of soldiers at Fort Hood. As the Christian

In a story initially and doggedly pursued by former Breitbart News reporter Lee Stranahan, Jesse Benton has resigned as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s campaign manager, "citing potential distractions over renewed attention to a scandal from the Iowa 2012 caucuses." Days ago, former Iowa GOP state lawmaker Kent Sorenson "pleaded guilty to charges of accepting money to change his endorsement in 2012 from Michele Bachmann to Ron Paul."

We still don’t have all the facts about happened in Ferguson, but we can already draw one big lesson. Clearly, something tragic happened during the confrontation on the street that day that left a young man dead and a community in chaos. Certainly, our hearts go out to the family and we can all hope that the investigation into what happened will be swift, thorough and fair to all parties. During the Great Depression, the Communist scribes at the Daily Worker were forever assuring the more skeptical among their colleagues that the heroic spark was near. Having read about a “small riot somewhere in rural Minnesota,” Whittaker Chambers recorded in Witness, Robert Minor started shouting about “the beginning of the American revolution.” If the paper wished to capitalize upon dissatisfaction and spin it into insurrection and change, Minor proposed, it would need the staff to keep an eye out for the tell-tale sign and, then, to “play it up big.” Over the past month, the events in Ferguson, Mo., have played

Karl Rove is at it once again. The so-called “strategist” is again confusing strategy with tactics, and is about to blow easy Senate pickups in Arkansas and North Carolina. This is not merely snatching defeat from the jaws of victory -- this is snatching defeat from the bowels of victory -- in astonishing tone-deaf fashion. There is absolutely no excuse for not winning these two races. So how is the one-time “boy genius” doing this? By running ads attacking Senators Mark Pryor and Kay Hagan from the left. Yes, you heard that right. Rove’s Crossroads GPS PAC is insisting in their latest

intelligence community has observed a “significant increase” in chatter among terrorist organizations as the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears. “We’ve noticed a significant increase in chatter among Islamic terrorist organizations overseas both on the Internet and phone lines,” a U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told The Blaze. While the intelligence community can not pinpoint whether or not an attack is planned, the official said that agencies “did see this kind of increase in chatter before the September 11 attacks.”

Watching the events unfold in Ferguson, Missouri, I can’t help thinking about the Holocaust and post-war Germany. As the daughter of a Holocaust survivor, I’ve spent years watching Germany wrestle with its dark past. It’s just one of many places that have made efforts to understand and compensate for a difficult history: For nearly three decades, countries as varied as South Africa, Rwanda, and the nations of Latin America and post-Communist Eastern Europe have been engaged in this process, often called “transitional justice.” That’s a broad term for the ways in which societies deal with the legacies of past injustice.

It´s not been a great summer for President Barack Obama. Disgraced for hitting the golf course amid crucial ISIS talks, struggling with record-low approval ratings; and now, lambasted for wearing a silly suit. But let´s put things into perspective. It´s not Obama´s first dodgy outfit choice, nor the worst in the history of the White House. So in honor of our leader´s Yes We Tan debacle, Femail has rounded up the top 20 worst presidential crimes against fashion of all time. Scroll down for video

ISIS is a cancer that must be stamped out, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry wrote Saturday in an opinion piece for The New York Times. Kerry called the Islamist extremist group, known for beheadings, crucifixions and terror campaigns against religious and ethnic minorities, a "unifying threat to a broad array of countries" that needs to be confronted. His article appears in the aftermath of the political uproar that engulfed the White House this week after President Barack Obama said "we don´t have a strategy" on ISIS in Syria. WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is interrupting a weekend trip to return to the White House. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Obama changed his plans for Friday and will return to Washington late in the evening after fundraisers in New York and Rhode Island, instead of overnighting in New York as originally planned. Earnest said Obama himself made the decision to return to the White House and that it was unrelated to any current events. "He can sleep in his own bed, do a little work tomorrow, spend some time with his family" before traveling back to Westchester
