It costs $500K to let your kids

A mogul spent six figures to win lunch for two with Bill and Hillary Clinton at a charity auction benefiting the Clinton Foundation — but when the winner asked to bring his two kids along, he was told he’d have to double his bid to $1 million. Spies said Charitybuzz CEO Coppy Holzman was talking about the recent Clinton auction hosted by his Web site at a swanky Hamptons Magazine party for ArtHamptons last Friday. One witness said Holzman regaled guests with a tale that “lunch for two with Bill and Hillary went for $500,000 to benefit the Clinton Foundation.” And the

It is all about how to raise more money for the Clinton War Chest. $500K is way over the legal limits for direct donations, so this and $250K speeches (which are paid for by unnamed donators and not the site) are just alternative ways to get around the law. What else can you expect from the Clintons?

Is it $500K to have dinner with the Clintons or is it $500K you will need to spend on therapy and deprogramming them afterwards?

Wait, I take it back , if it were free I would use the time to let them know what I thought of them.

The absurdity of the idea that Bill and Hill have the audacity to expect anyone to pay $500K to have dinner with them is surpassed only by the fact that there are severely demented individuals out there who would actually fork over the price!!

Think how many starving people could be fed with $500K!!

Three American citizens, including The Washington Post’s correspondent in Iran, appear to have been detained this week in Tehran, U.S. officials and the newspaper said Thursday. Washington Post foreign editor Douglas Jehl said the newspaper has received “credible reports” that correspondent Jason Rezaian and his wife, Yeganeh Salehi, were detained Tuesday evening in Tehran. It is unclear who detained them or why. “We are deeply troubled by this news and are concerned for the welfare of Jason, Yeganeh and two others said to have been detained with them,” Jehl said in a statement.

The Supreme Court ruling that freed home healthcare workers from coercive unionization in Illinois has led to unions ceasing automatic deduction of union dues from non-members in other states. A Washington state chapter of the politically powerful SEIU announced that it would no longer force caretakers—many of whom are caring for disabled family members—to pay union dues, according to communications obtained by the Freedom Foundation, a free market think tank. Adam Glickman, secretary treasurer of SEIU Local 775, wrote a letter to an unnamed home healthcare worker saying the court’s decision in Harris v. Top IRS officials told congressional investigators that Lois Lerner´s hard drive -- the one containing emails that could shed light on the IRS targeting scandal -- was irreparably damaged before it was destroyed completely in 2011. But now, investigators have had a chance to talk to the technical experts inside the IRS who actually examined Lerner´s computer, and the experts say the hard drive in question was actually just "scratched," and that most of the data on it was recoverable. The IRS computer experts also told the committee that they had recommended seeking outside help in recovering the data from Lerner´s

Feinstein was talking about Vladimir Putin, the Russian president who set this all in motion with his disestablishment of Ukraine, a nation that no longer belongs to Russia even though Putin seems to believe it should. “I would say, Putin, you have to man up,” Feinstein said. “You should talk to the world. You should say this was a mistake, if it was a mistake.” Feinstein’s sentiment was right.

Part of the anti-Israel war effort includes attempts to demoralize Israel and its supporters. That is why Hamas, Hezbollah and others try so hard to kidnap Israeli civilians or soldiers, and even to grab dead bodies. That psychological warfare is on full display in the media and social media. But it’s not working because Israelis know that Hamas and other Islamic terrorist groups in Gaza, who fire from among civilians towards civilians, leave Israel with no choice but to fight in a war it didn’t want but in which so much is at stake. Details were sketchy, but intelligence suggested that the Boeing 777-200, carrying two hundred and ninety-eight people, had been hit by a surface-to-air missile. There were no
