How The Bridgegate Investigation

Chris Christie Zoom Off to Iowa

It was supposed to be the end of the line for the governor. But the investigators haven’t quite finished the job. And now their inquiry is going nowhere. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie arrived in Iowa Thursday, surrounded by a media gaggle befitting a presidential frontrunner, just as new poll was released showing him trailing Hillary Clinton by a single point. It was Christie´s first visit to the caucus state in over two and a half years, and he unleashed his charms at GOP fundraisers and on Hawkeye locals, assuring them, “I will be back a lot.” In Marion, at

Nope. Will never forget the cover the Big Man gave Obama right before the 2012 election after Sandy. Never forget, never forgive.

Whether or not anyone considers Christie to be presidential material, it has to bring a smile that the trumped-up batch of nothing charges weren´t able to go anywhere.

#2 - I think the Bridgegate investigation led to the DNC. That´s why they dropped it.

The people who fear Christie the most are the DEMs. Tea Party people are having trouble figuring that out.

Bridgegate was a big nothingburger from the start. Who cares?
How can the media pretend this was a big deal, when their beloved Obama shut down national parks, highways, the Capitol, the WWII monument, and a whole host of federal buildings and offices because he was in a snit about the Sequester?
By comparison, "Bridgegate" is small fry.
What about "IRSgate" "NSAgate", Fast and Furiousgate", "Bergdahlgate", "Obamacaregate", "Illegal Aliengate"?

Christie or Clinton, now there´s an image of 2016 that will inspire no one. There will be no way to tell the difference between those two, both of whom are left of center.

One thing I do like about Christie though, he is the perfect poster child of the GOP Establishment. Stands for nothing, but is more than happy to hug a Marxist Democrat.

Of course there was nothing to link Christie Kreme to the Toll Bridge Fiasco. Anyone with half a brain figured that out instantly, despite how they see Christie Kreme as a Politician. As is expected from the resident RepublicRat Social Progressive Breakfast Club members. They in turn Parrot the talking points of their RepublicRat Social Progressive Overlords to promote another First Class Loser Politician in order to Go Along to Get Along with their Ideological brethren in the DemocRat Party. I say let Christie Kreme run in 2016 and watch him flame out like all of the previous RepublicRat Social Progressive Candidates. He has as much appeal as a severe case of irritable bowel syndrome.

Two former assistant football coaches at Penn State University, including the son of disgraced former head coach Joe Paterno, are suing the school for actions they say wrecked their careers in the wake of the child sex-abuse scandal. Jay Paterno, who was quarterbacks coach for 12 seasons under his father, and Bill Kenney, the former offensive coach, were both fired in January 2012 by Bill O´Brien, the coach who replaced the elder Paterno. WASHINGTON — Former Texas Rep. Ron Paul suggests in a column that the United States, through its support of the Ukrainian government, shares the blame in last week’s downing of a Malaysian Airlines jet over the eastern Ukraine. The column, carried Sunday on the website of the Ron Paul Institute, was provocative from the outset. Its title was “What the Media Won’t Report About Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17.” The column accused the media and the Western politicians of seeking “maximum propaganda value” from the disaster, in blaming Russia and its strong-armed leader Vladimir Putin. The media is not reporting, he insisted, that

Salem, Mass., is infamous for its witchcraft trials of 322 years ago, which is just how the town likes it. Celebration of its unsavory past attracts tourists and their dollars. Without that unsavory history, Salem would be just another town in the Boston neighborhood. The spirit of Salem and its celebration of intolerance survives in the person of Kimberly Driscoll, the mayor. She was “stunned” to learn that Gordon College, 16 miles away in Wenham, practices what its evangelical Christian faith preaches. Everyone who works or studies at Gordon College is expected to remain sexually abstinent, unless married. No hanky-panky is

David Perdue’s stunning victory over Rep. Jack Kingston was both a rebuke to Georgia’s political establishment and a reminder that November will be a very unconventional race. Here are five factors that played into Perdue’s upset victory: Metro Atlanta’s Perdue support offset south Georgia’s Kingston backing. While Kingston held onto his big margins in south Georgia, Perdue more than wiped him out with big showings in populous metro Atlanta and other urban areas across the state. Perdue’s camp was ecstatic that Kingston’s net margin over Perdue in Savannah’s Chatham County was 12,000 – close to what they expected. If Kingston landed

On Tuesday, Republicans released preliminary results of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) undercover examination of enrollment in the Obamacare exchanges. Using fake information during an undercover “secret shopper” investigation, the GAO created 18 fictitious identities through the federal exchange by telephone, online, and in-person. In 17 of 18 attempts the GAO was able to obtain premium subsidies and health insurance with fake information through telephone and online applications. According to the report, 11 out of 12 fake applications for the federal exchanges were approved, with credits totaling $2500 per month ($30,000 per year). Giglio, Italy -- The wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship has begun its final voyage. Salvage crews refloated the ship last week so they can move it from its resting place off Giglio Island to the Italian port of Genoa to be dismantled. On Wednesday morning, it sets sail. It´s been more than 2½ years since the ship ran aground off Giglio Island with more than 4,200 passengers aboard, killing 32 people in a disaster that drew global attention. The vessel will be towed -- slowly and carefully -- approximately 240 kilometers (150 miles) to Genoa, where it will be broken up. A convoy

WASHINGTON -- In rapid succession, six federal judges on two appeals courts weighed in on a key component of President Barack Obama´s health care law. Their votes lined up precisely with the party of the president who appointed them. It was the latest illustration that presidents help shape their legacies by stocking the federal bench with judges whose views are more likely to align with their own. The legal drama played out Tuesday in Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Virginia, on two appeals courts that Obama has transformed through 10 appointments in 5 1/2 years. As in, take a three-day course and go for it easy. The weapon in question is the SA-11, a radar-guided surface to air missile (SAM) system. The 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to people who bought insurance in an Obamacare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov.
