McCain to GOP: If You Want to Beat
Hillary, Pass Immigration Reform

Time Magazine, by Zeke J. Miller

Arizona Sen. John McCain said Thursday that he believes Republicans can defeat former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016, but only if they pass immigration reform. “She’s the odds-on favorite right now,” McCain said of Clinton at the “Politics on Tap” event hosted by CNN and National Journal. “But I think we have a long list of people who could defeat Hillary Clinton.” McCain suggested New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich by name as potential Clinton vanquishers. “We’ve got some very successful governors that have done very well in their states

Ah yes -- if you can´t beat them, join them.

Perhaps if the Senator hadn´t tried to be so likable to the D.C. press corps in 2008, we wouldn´t be in this mess. Although, who knows? It might be about the same.

Much ado over nothing since Hillary is imploding and really hasn´t a very good chance to get the democRAT nomination if the old bag even decides she´s running.
Even so, McCain needs to retire to the home for demented political has-beens.

Does everyone see where McCain and the rest of the RINOs have gotten us?

We need to keep the House but the RINOs have declared war on freedom loving, hard working Americans and don´t deserve to win the Senate.

It´s up to everyone to make up their own minds but consider this, if a RINO Senator is up for election in your state don´t cast a vote for him.

The man is getting more demented if that is possible. He was on Hannity tonight blaming Putin for the attack on the Malaysian plane that was shot down. That is probably true. He also blamed Iran for arming Hamas and the Palestinians and directing the attacks on Israel. That is also probably true.

Next he said how would the United States feel if another country attacked us and hit us with rockets. Then he vouched for Amnesty for illegal criminal invaders again.

What is the matter with him. Isn´t he aware that we are being invaded with the full approval of our own government. Tens of thousands of Latin Americans are invading this country daily and I guess he thinks that is AOK. Along with these criminals are Terrorists who will eventually kill people in this country.

Meanwhile while all this is going on, Kerry is telling Iran they can continue building their nuke capability. Also while Israel is at war, Zippy is in New York fund raising at two different events for Democrats.

These people are going to kill us all.

Not too many Hispanic voters are going to vote for the Republicans because they caved and passed a liberal Democrat designed amnesty that will absolutely give the Democrats tens of millions of new foreign born and socialist oriented Democrat voters in the year´s ahead.

If the Republicans do beat Hillary because of such circumstances, she will be the last Democrat presidential candidate they will beat after the new Democrat foreign born voters start coming on line, as the Democrats will have so many new foreign born voters, and will cancel out so many conservative and Republican votes that it will be impossible for the Republicans to win future presidential elections.

Senate Republicans are preparing an agenda for their first 100 days in power next year in case they win majority control of the upper chamber, The Hill reported. Republican senators insisted they were not “measuring the drapes” in anticipation of a wave election sweeping them into power after years in the minority. “We will have to be prepared if we are in a position to govern,” Sen. Qua speech, Barack Obama’s address Wednesday on the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was surprisingly terrible: a disorganized mess, insincere and unconvincing. To appreciate just how bad and bizarre it was, compare the president’s speech announcing a new air campaign in Iraq and Syria to Dwight Eisenhower’s 1958 statement on his decision to intervene in Lebanon with 14,000—14,000!—troops. The statement contains no chest-thumping about America’s leadership in science and medicine. No pivot to the auto industry and medical research. Eisenhower simply explained what had been done, and why.

As we suspected, President Obama tried in his Wednesday-night speech to make it sound like he was doing something new when he, in fact, he is not. Moreover, in describing his response, he made plain that he doesn’t take the threat to the homeland seriously. For a threat his advisers say is greater than that posed by al-Qaeda after 2001, he proposed measures suitable for Yemen and Somalia. No, really — that’s the plan. President Obama just announced that he is bringing a counter-terrorism strategy to an insurgency fight. He was at pains to repeat the phrase “counter-terror” four times in a short speech. Noting that ISIL is not a state (partly because the international community thankfully does not recognize it), he declared, “ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.” Neither of those sentences, unfortunately, is true. Throughout his presidency, President Obama has emphasized one point while talking about Islamist extremists: They are not practicing Islam, he has said, they are perverting it. He took that a step further Wednesday night. While announcing that he´s expanding the campaign against the Islamic State extremist group into Syria, Obama said flatly that this group, which is trying to install a caliphate in the Middle East, "is not Islamic." Literary lion Maya Angelou may be gone, but her memory will live on through the day and beyond. A memorial celebration to honor Angelou, the revered writer, poet, actress and civil rights activist who died this year, will kick off at the Riverside Church on Riverside Dr. near W. 120th St. on Friday at 11 a.m. Former first lady, senator and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will join a group of renowned speakers — including author Toni Morrison and popular poet Nikki Giovanni — to pay tribute to the legendary Angelou, who died at her home on the North Carolina campus
