Video: Pretty much everyone expressing
dismay over White House response
to world falling apart

Was the Bear loose today? If Valerie Jarrett wanted to get a hashtag going for the president, #smh might have worked. Shep wasn’t the only one baffled by the White House’s insistence on pretending today was a day for the normal shake run and spin. Via the Free Beacon, first ABC notes that the president seemed blindsided by Israel’s starting ground operations in Gaza today. Jonathan Karl cites the President’s and State Department’s optimism just hours earlier that a ceasefire would happen. Second, Gen. Barry McCaffrey wonders aloud to Brian Williams on NBC why State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki seems

The same thing happened in Rome sometime back. I believe the emperor was playing his violin.
In any case, different times but the same results.

Let´s not lose sight of the important thing here: Dear Leader Barack Hussein is a Democrat, and Democrats care about helping people. That´s why they are morally superior to us. Democrats are also concerned about social injustice and saving Mother Gaia from the ravages of constitutionalists. That´s why why they are smarter than everyone else.

So regardless of how Dear Leader appears to behave, we know he cares and is very smart. This is all that really matters, and all that will translate into votes in 2016. If Democrats were actually arrogant, ignorant, moral cowards, don´t you think the GOP would have exposed them by now, instead of constantly touting their "good intentions"? Hillary in 2016 is already almost a lock.

A little OT: During the Sepcial Report video, you can clearly hear Juan Williams talking over Dr. Krauthammer which I find deplorable because Dr. K. has to make such an effort to speak. Like your typical democrat, Juan was trying to shut down any opposing viewpoint. Expect more of this boorish behavior in the future because Obama is being exposed as a failure to anyone who is rational. The one thing democrats can´t allow to happen is for the truth to come out about their boy king. However, the whole world can see what a disaster he is. Be prepared for more wailing and gnashing of teeth by the democrats because rational people can see the results of Obama´s failed policies.

When Krauthammer said that Obama "should make a damned decision for once in his life", I imagined millions of Americans jumping out of their chairs screaming, "Someone finally said it!"

(We have all said it but a person of Dr. K´s visibility and overall stature saying it on national TV is something else.)

I don´t think the passengers on the Malaysian flight shot down nor the Jews in Israel suffering missile attacks believe that obama has "substantially improved the tranquility of the global community" as posited by his Press Secretary. But maybe his jokes made them all feel better. What an asshat we have for a President.

The problem is....Obama has made Decisions. What would America look like IF...the head of ISLAM ran our country? What would happen if a true NAZI ran our country? It would look like what it is now or even worse. Dr. K is looking at what an American President should be...but the truth is Obama is NOT an American President or an American at all. He is American´s Enemy.

Then I want to know how they, individually and corporately, stand to gain from continuing this destruction of the USA and any good there is in the world.

This is not a matter of term limits, which I do support for members of Congress and for judges and justices. The 22nd Amendment already provides that for the POTUS. This is rather a matter of impeachment, and conditions are ripe for a serious effort. It will not succeed immediately, but a series of strategic and tactical moves can make it happen. I have postulated a specific "plan" in this regard. With appropriate "tweaks", something like it can work. Each succeeding event justifies the need and makes success more likely. But we must start - now.

The world is burning. The drawbridges to our southern border are purposely left down, and invaders of all kinds are pouring in. Not only are we not stopping the invaders but we are actually giving them free transportation to wherever they want to go. And throngs of wealthy Americans gather to throw more funds at Obama for his fiddle playing.

Amazing.

#15 gets an A+, and I thank him/her for reminding others that the 22nd Amendment covered the need for term limits for POTUS.

Also I hope #15 can somehow get across the impeachment idea to those who can make it happen. If Barry isn´t held accountable for his "high crimes and misdemeanors" now, then the U.S. Constitution and the wisdom of our Founding Fathers may as well be chucked. Along with it, there goes the freedoms and guarantees available to all American citizens. Why do I feel that they are already on their way to the wastebasket of history?

One more time, folks, the Founding Fathers provided for times like these more than two centuries ago, and they were prescient in the construction of their timeless document. The delegates to the Constitutional Convention were well aware that the nature of heads of state and leaders doesn´t change.

Ben Franklin, George Washington and the other signers were trying to prevent the weakness to which most governments succumb. They knew what Lord Acton famously observed a few years later and is still true today:
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

He ... doesn´t ... care. How many of these incidents will it take before we are willing to acknowledge this? He can mouth the words and imitate normal human emotions, but he doesn´t feel them. And not only does he not care, but often he won´t even pretend that he does.

There´s something wrong with him and it can´t be fixed. He has a piece missing from his personality. He has no compassion. No empathy. And as a result he has no human sense of proportion or priority. Whether he is a sociopath or a psychopath or a malignant narcissist is for someone else´s analysis. The upshot is he is not a complete human being. He´s a monster.

Poor choice of metaphors. In geopolitical speak, the "bear" uniformly refers to the Russian bear.

In this instance, the Russian bear is off his chain and marauding, and the man elected to show strength and keep the bear in check is off to yet another fundraising party.

Is his code name actually spelled The Bare ?
As in the Emperor has no clothes .
In Dreams from my Father , Barry described a fight he had with his mother when he was a senior in high school.
She, as recounted by him,
called him lazy and unambitious and criticized that his core group of friends were shiftless dopers.
His mother asked if he was going
to be a lazy bum ( Ayers substituted the inappropriate term Good Time Charlie ) all his life.
Barry responded , yup, what´s wrong with that ?
Nothing´s changed with this guy.

I´ve always told my wife that Obama´s perpetual smile, handshakes and pats on the back portend evil, his? The Temptation´s song below describes the Won to a T?

Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend
Smiling faces show no traces of the evil that lurks within
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
The truth is in the eyes
Cause the eyes don´t lie, amen

Remember a smile is just
A frown turned upside down
My friend let me tell you

Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth, uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

Beware, beware of the handshake
That hides the snake
I´m telling you beware
Beware of the pat on the back
It just might hold you back
Jealousy (jealousy)
Misery (misery)
Envy I tell you, you can´t see behind smiling faces

Smiling faces sometimes they don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
(Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes)
(Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes)

I´m telling you beware, beware of the handshake
That hides the snake
Listen to me now, beware
Beware of that pat on the back
It just might hold you back

Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

Your enemy won´t do you no harm
Cause you´ll know where he´s coming from
Don´t let the handshake and the smile fool ya
Take my advice I´m only try´ to school ya

I wonder when the leadership of the repubs will spend more effort attacking obozo than they do the Tea Party? Mitch McConnell, Ron Johnson, Paul Ryan, etc.. They are so afraid of being called a racist they would rather see the country destroyed than the liberal media call them the r word. President Barack Hussein Payola Obama… once a community organizer, always a community organizer… once a gutless, fence-straddling, “Present”-voting, puppet-on-a string, always… and so on and so forth.

Never grew up. Always a kid. Decisions? Has others make them for him. But, what about decisions that often must be defended? That’s when he bugs out for the golf course, the fundraiser, the most splendiferous vacation spot or the nearest greasy spoon, all the while meeting and greeting anyone and everyone who adores him, none of whom are likely going to be detained anytime soon from attending a nearby Mensa meeting.

He does make decisions, but they are behind the curtain, in secret, with selected cohorts. By the time these schemes become public, the groundwork has been laid.

He is an extremely dangerous tyrannical man because he intends to destroy the Republic.

And he does not relent. He gives us the middle finger, and strides forward in his pompous, arrogant way.

DENVER — The Democrats’ “war on women” strategy may resonate with liberals, but it’s losing ground with crucial female swing voters in Colorado, said a poll released this week. A whopping 77 percent of women voters surveyed agree that they “clearly see through the so-called Democrat ‘War on Women’ messaging strategy,” according to Magellan Strategies in Louisville, Colo. The poll also found that 67 percent of those surveyed “do not fear a government bureaucrat taking birth control away from them, but what they fear are politicians using the issue of ‘access to birth control’ as a political tactic to scare

Israeli military intelligence is facing criticism for failing to comprehend the network of tunnels and other underground facilities built by Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Dan Pollak, co-director of government relations for the Zionist Organization of America, said early estimates of Israel’s operation to root out Hamas rockets has diminished the terrorist group’s arsenal. Hamas‘ 10,000-rocket arsenal is now believed to be half that number. “We’ll see when the war was over,” Mr. Pollak said in an interview, “but it is clear that the underground tunnel complex was far more extensive than Israeli military intelligence understood.”

John Kerry is upset by heavy criticism from Israelis — left, right and center — of his recent cease-fire diplomacy. But that’s only half the story. More significant is the consternation of America’s Arab partners, starting with the president of the Palestinian Authority. Mahmoud Abbas was stunned that Kerry would fly off to Paris to negotiate with Hamas allies Qatar and Turkey in talks that excluded the PA and Egypt. The talks also undermined Egypt’s cease-fire proposal, which Israel had accepted and Hamas rejected (and would have prevented the vast majority of the casualties on both sides). “Kerry tried through

Republicans may yet win the elections in November. They may end up in control of both houses of Congress come January. But in the final week before a lengthy August recess, they have shown a remarkable capacity to complicate their path to victory. The latest blow came Thursday in what has become predictable fashion: chaos in the House. Amid fractious infighting, House leaders abruptly pulled their alternative to President Obama’s bill to deal with the influx of Central American children crossing the border. What was said to be a national crisis turned into one more problem facing deferral. But there

GAZA CITY – It was around 2:30 p.m., and the word had spread on al-Jalla Street. An Israeli airstrike was about to unfold. The target: a gray, concrete building of moderate height in the heart of Gaza City. Children gathered on balconies. Young men congregated at an intersection. Others placed bricks and tires blocking off a section of the street that ran past the building. A man in a tank top and shorts served as a traffic policeman, directing vehicles to take a detour. Cars stopped. More people stepped out, their eyes glued to the ill-fated building. And they all

“The Big Bang Theory” star Mayim Bialik explained Wednesday why she is helping send bulletproof vests to the Israel Defense Forces. The Jewish actress and outspoken supporter of Israel wrote a brief blog post Wednesday afternoon, titled “Why I Donated Money to Send Bulletproof Vests to the IDF.” “1. I need to feel like I’m doing something,” she writes. “2. No matter what your politics are, soldiers sent into war zones deserve to be protected from enemy fire.” “3. Every soldier is someone’s son or daughter. Every single one,” she concludes, linking to a post she wrote on July 7.

House Republicans authorize

House Republicans voted Wednesday evening to authorize an unprecedented lawsuit against President Obama, escalating a separation of powers battle between Congress and the White House that is heavily tinged with election-year politics. Mr. Obama mocked Republicans, telling them to “stop just hatin’ all the time,” but GOP lawmakers said they felt boxed in, being unable to get their legislation through the Democrat-controlled Senate and having to watch as the president tweaks, waives or ignores laws Congress has written but which he dislikes. “This isn’t about Republicans and Democrats; it’s about defending the Constitution

Ever since Hillary Clinton drew attention to her finances by claiming her family was "dead broke" when they left the White House, speculation has focused on a seemingly simple question: Exactly how rich are the Clintons? The answer, at least for the time being, is that there´s no way for the public to know. The couple´s wealth since Bill Clinton´s presidency ended in early 2001 has been generated largely from paid speeches, lucrative book deals and successful investments. Some of that wealth has been detailed over the years in the financial disclosure forms Hillary Clinton was required to file as

Three years after Western powers helped Libyan rebels overthrow dictator Moammar Gaddafi, they have at least temporarily abandoned efforts on the ground to bolster Libya’s foundering democracy. On Wednesday, France evacuated its embassy in Tripoli, where warring militias have traded rocket and artillery fire over the past two weeks in the worst violence in the capital since Gaddafi’s ouster. French ships moved diplomats and French and other European citizens across the Mediterranean to Toulon, just days after U.S. diplomats left by road for Tunisia and then traveled to Malta, where they have set up an embassy-in-absentia.

The White House maintained today that the Ebola outbreak in West Africa “is not a risk to the United States at this time.” Two American aid workers in Liberia have tested positive for the virus, and a Minnesota man who had been working for the Liberian government died after taking a flight to Nigeria 10 days ago. The wife of 40-year-old Patrick Sawyer said he had planned to come visit Minnesota next month to see their three young children. “We are aware of the reports that U.S. citizens have been diagnosed with the virus. We have no higher priority than the protection of U.S. citizens overseas. But again, as the CDC has stated,

For the first time in U.S. history, a Middle Eastern-based firm is poised to manage a strategic U.S. port on Florida’s Atlantic coast, rekindling national security concerns inside Congress. Rep. Duncan Hunter, the California Republican who oversees port security as chairman of the House Transportation’s maritime transportation subcommittee, demanded Tuesday that the Obama administration conduct a full national security review of the decision last month by Gulftainer to sign a 35-year contract with Florida’s Port Canaveral. The firm is a privately owned cargo terminal operator based in the United Arab Emirates,

Israel unleashed its heaviest bombardment in its three-week-old campaign against Hamas in Gaza on Tuesday as the Obama administration battled the growing perception among Israelis that Secretary of State John F. Kerry is a hapless bumbler in search of a cosmetic truce. Diplomatic efforts remained stalled despite a death toll that Palestinian officials said rose above 1,200 on Tuesday. The shadowy leader of the Hamas military wing said his group will not cease fire until an economic embargo is ended and other demands are met. After his latest round of mediation failed to achieve a cease-fire, Mr. Kerry has been

A good friend of mine apologized to me today. You see, he voted for Barack Hussein Obama in the 2008 election and he lives in a so-called “swing state.” He told me that he had not voted for Obama in the 2012 election, but that he realized that by supporting him in 2008, he had help unleash a deadly virus onto the American scene. He simply said he was sorry. I think a good many Americans feel much the same as my good friend. They know that they were seduced by the very slick presentation that Barack Obama made in the

Will Mitt Romney please adopt me? President Obama demanded that Israel agree to a one-sided cease-fire during a heated phone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to a report aired on Israeli TV Tuesday. Both leaders quickly denounced the purported transcript of their private discussion as fake. But the TV channel that obtained it, state-run Channel 1, stood by its account. In one bitter exchange, Obama declared that Qatar and Turkey — Hamas’ biggest international supporters — would mediate with the terrorists on Israel’s behalf, according to the TV channel. “I trust Qatar and Turkey. Israel is not in the position that it can choose its mediators,” the president

Conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status had their applications denied by IRS bureaucrats who called them names like “crazies,” “rabid” and other words that can’t be printed in a family newspaper. The tax agency is supposed to be run by nonpartisan, career professionals, but the latest set of emails released by the House Ways and Means Committee suggest the agency is anything but. Until the scandal erupted last year, Lois G. Lerner was in charge of the IRS division overseeing tax-exempt organizations. Congressional investigators have spent months sifting through her emails — the ones that didn’t “go missing” — to find out

On Tuesday a federal jury awarded Jesse Ventura $1.8 million in his case against Kyle’s widow. The former governor told CBS: “I’m already damaged. I can’t go to a SEAL reunion anymore. That was the one place I felt safe. I can’t go there anymore. I’ll be looking over my shoulder now wondering who’s going to come after me next. And, so don’t think I come out of this unscathed. Perhaps it says something about us that our most interesting presidential candidates swear they won´t run for president. This is true of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and it´s increasingly true of Mitt Romney. As regular readers of this column know, I´ve never been much of a Romney booster. I´ve also expressed skepticism about the notion he would run again. But let´s not let "a foolish consistency" cloud our judgment. There is reason to believe that a third try wouldn´t be an absurd venture. First, in the intervening years since 2012 — and on a range of issues, not the least of which is

Stop just hatin’ all the time. Karl Rove, former adviser to president George W. Referring to Obama as the “cynic in chief,” Rove said on Fox News’s On the Record that Obama is “suggesting a constitutional crisis” in an effort to “fatten the accounts of Democratic fundraising groups.” White House senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer said last week that Congressional Republicans may take the path to impeach Obama. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has denied that he would seek impeachment. GOP House Majority Leader

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has been traveling to New York in the past month to quietly meet with high-flying business leaders to ramp up interest in a potential presidential bid, sources tell Page Six. “He’s been meeting with groups of up to 15 people at private homes to tell them about some of his moderate points of view,” a source said. “He’s been meeting with Republicans, Democrats and independents.” Our source added, “They’re not fund-raisers. It’s for people here to get to know more about him. He’s said he has not decided whether he’ll run.” We hear that Bush was in town
