Video: Pretty much everyone expressing
dismay over White House response
to world falling apart

Was the Bear loose today? If Valerie Jarrett wanted to get a hashtag going for the president, #smh might have worked. Shep wasn’t the only one baffled by the White House’s insistence on pretending today was a day for the normal shake run and spin. Via the Free Beacon, first ABC notes that the president seemed blindsided by Israel’s starting ground operations in Gaza today. Jonathan Karl cites the President’s and State Department’s optimism just hours earlier that a ceasefire would happen. Second, Gen. Barry McCaffrey wonders aloud to Brian Williams on NBC why State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki seems

The same thing happened in Rome sometime back. I believe the emperor was playing his violin.
In any case, different times but the same results.

Let´s not lose sight of the important thing here: Dear Leader Barack Hussein is a Democrat, and Democrats care about helping people. That´s why they are morally superior to us. Democrats are also concerned about social injustice and saving Mother Gaia from the ravages of constitutionalists. That´s why why they are smarter than everyone else.

So regardless of how Dear Leader appears to behave, we know he cares and is very smart. This is all that really matters, and all that will translate into votes in 2016. If Democrats were actually arrogant, ignorant, moral cowards, don´t you think the GOP would have exposed them by now, instead of constantly touting their "good intentions"? Hillary in 2016 is already almost a lock.

A little OT: During the Sepcial Report video, you can clearly hear Juan Williams talking over Dr. Krauthammer which I find deplorable because Dr. K. has to make such an effort to speak. Like your typical democrat, Juan was trying to shut down any opposing viewpoint. Expect more of this boorish behavior in the future because Obama is being exposed as a failure to anyone who is rational. The one thing democrats can´t allow to happen is for the truth to come out about their boy king. However, the whole world can see what a disaster he is. Be prepared for more wailing and gnashing of teeth by the democrats because rational people can see the results of Obama´s failed policies.

When Krauthammer said that Obama "should make a damned decision for once in his life", I imagined millions of Americans jumping out of their chairs screaming, "Someone finally said it!"

(We have all said it but a person of Dr. K´s visibility and overall stature saying it on national TV is something else.)

I don´t think the passengers on the Malaysian flight shot down nor the Jews in Israel suffering missile attacks believe that obama has "substantially improved the tranquility of the global community" as posited by his Press Secretary. But maybe his jokes made them all feel better. What an asshat we have for a President.

The problem is....Obama has made Decisions. What would America look like IF...the head of ISLAM ran our country? What would happen if a true NAZI ran our country? It would look like what it is now or even worse. Dr. K is looking at what an American President should be...but the truth is Obama is NOT an American President or an American at all. He is American´s Enemy.

Then I want to know how they, individually and corporately, stand to gain from continuing this destruction of the USA and any good there is in the world.

This is not a matter of term limits, which I do support for members of Congress and for judges and justices. The 22nd Amendment already provides that for the POTUS. This is rather a matter of impeachment, and conditions are ripe for a serious effort. It will not succeed immediately, but a series of strategic and tactical moves can make it happen. I have postulated a specific "plan" in this regard. With appropriate "tweaks", something like it can work. Each succeeding event justifies the need and makes success more likely. But we must start - now.

The world is burning. The drawbridges to our southern border are purposely left down, and invaders of all kinds are pouring in. Not only are we not stopping the invaders but we are actually giving them free transportation to wherever they want to go. And throngs of wealthy Americans gather to throw more funds at Obama for his fiddle playing.

Amazing.

#15 gets an A+, and I thank him/her for reminding others that the 22nd Amendment covered the need for term limits for POTUS.

Also I hope #15 can somehow get across the impeachment idea to those who can make it happen. If Barry isn´t held accountable for his "high crimes and misdemeanors" now, then the U.S. Constitution and the wisdom of our Founding Fathers may as well be chucked. Along with it, there goes the freedoms and guarantees available to all American citizens. Why do I feel that they are already on their way to the wastebasket of history?

One more time, folks, the Founding Fathers provided for times like these more than two centuries ago, and they were prescient in the construction of their timeless document. The delegates to the Constitutional Convention were well aware that the nature of heads of state and leaders doesn´t change.

Ben Franklin, George Washington and the other signers were trying to prevent the weakness to which most governments succumb. They knew what Lord Acton famously observed a few years later and is still true today:
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

He ... doesn´t ... care. How many of these incidents will it take before we are willing to acknowledge this? He can mouth the words and imitate normal human emotions, but he doesn´t feel them. And not only does he not care, but often he won´t even pretend that he does.

There´s something wrong with him and it can´t be fixed. He has a piece missing from his personality. He has no compassion. No empathy. And as a result he has no human sense of proportion or priority. Whether he is a sociopath or a psychopath or a malignant narcissist is for someone else´s analysis. The upshot is he is not a complete human being. He´s a monster.

Poor choice of metaphors. In geopolitical speak, the "bear" uniformly refers to the Russian bear.

In this instance, the Russian bear is off his chain and marauding, and the man elected to show strength and keep the bear in check is off to yet another fundraising party.

Is his code name actually spelled The Bare ?
As in the Emperor has no clothes .
In Dreams from my Father , Barry described a fight he had with his mother when he was a senior in high school.
She, as recounted by him,
called him lazy and unambitious and criticized that his core group of friends were shiftless dopers.
His mother asked if he was going
to be a lazy bum ( Ayers substituted the inappropriate term Good Time Charlie ) all his life.
Barry responded , yup, what´s wrong with that ?
Nothing´s changed with this guy.

I´ve always told my wife that Obama´s perpetual smile, handshakes and pats on the back portend evil, his? The Temptation´s song below describes the Won to a T?

Smiling faces sometimes pretend to be your friend
Smiling faces show no traces of the evil that lurks within
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
The truth is in the eyes
Cause the eyes don´t lie, amen

Remember a smile is just
A frown turned upside down
My friend let me tell you

Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth, uh
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

Beware, beware of the handshake
That hides the snake
I´m telling you beware
Beware of the pat on the back
It just might hold you back
Jealousy (jealousy)
Misery (misery)
Envy I tell you, you can´t see behind smiling faces

Smiling faces sometimes they don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof
(Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes)
(Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes)

I´m telling you beware, beware of the handshake
That hides the snake
Listen to me now, beware
Beware of that pat on the back
It just might hold you back

Smiling faces, smiling faces sometimes
They don´t tell the truth
Smiling faces, smiling faces
Tell lies and I got proof

Your enemy won´t do you no harm
Cause you´ll know where he´s coming from
Don´t let the handshake and the smile fool ya
Take my advice I´m only try´ to school ya

I wonder when the leadership of the repubs will spend more effort attacking obozo than they do the Tea Party? Mitch McConnell, Ron Johnson, Paul Ryan, etc.. President Barack Hussein Payola Obama… once a community organizer, always a community organizer… once a gutless, fence-straddling, “Present”-voting, puppet-on-a string, always… and so on and so forth.

Never grew up. Always a kid. Decisions? Has others make them for him. But, what about decisions that often must be defended? That’s when he bugs out for the golf course, the fundraiser, the most splendiferous vacation spot or the nearest greasy spoon, all the while meeting and greeting anyone and everyone who adores him, none of whom are likely going to be detained anytime soon from attending a nearby Mensa meeting.

This administration is made up of traitor, tyrants and corrupt monsters. Zero, himself, is self-absorbed and cares NOTHING for anyone but himself. Even his loyalty to his friends and family has limits. The Obama administration sought Friday to tamp down fears of an Ebola outbreak within the U.S., making the case that America’s infrastructure and health care systems set it apart from the horrific scenes coming out of West Africa, even as a confirmed case in Dallas and recent scares in the nation’s capital prompt fears of a domestic problem. “The United States is prepared to deal with the crisis,” Lisa Monaco, homeland security adviser to President Obama, told reporters at a White House briefing on the response to the deadly virus. The U.S. economy is back on solid ground six years after the Great Recession, new data showed Friday, but President Obama and other Democrats are struggling to convince voters ahead of the midterm elections that they deserve the credit for the rebound. He felt like a “cactus around balloons.” “It’s not easy being Republican,” he said, “when everybody’s a Democrat.” As long as anyone can remember, the South Texas counties that make up the Rio Grande Valley have been two things: Hispanic and blue-as-the-big-sky Democrat. In Hidalgo County, along the Rio Grande, the locals say

A Washington-area hospital announced Friday that it had admitted a patient with symptoms and a travel history associated with Ebola. The case has not been confirmed, but the number of similar incidents around the country and a confirmed Ebola patient in Dallas have spurred concerns about whether U.S. hospitals are as prepared to deal with the virus as federal officials insist they are. Since July, hospitals around the country have reported more than 100 cases involving Ebola-like symptoms to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, officials there said. Only one patient so far — Thomas Duncan in Dallas

In her just-released memoir, 27 year-old "Girls" star Lena Dunham claims that as a 19 year-old Oberlin College student in Ohio, she was raped by a college Republican. In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the "ill-fated evening of lovemaking" as awkward and hollow. The most sensational moment comes from the fact that "Barry" wasn´t wearing a condom. In the next chapter, Dunham backtracks with the claim that she´s an "unreliable narrator" and accuses "Barry" of rape: [I]n another essay in this book I describe a sexual encounter with a mustachioed campus Republican as the upsetting but

MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker is casting himself as a turnaround artist, seeking re-election with a pitch to voters that he revamped the state’s spending and business climate in just four years. For a governor with presidential aspirations, it’s a case he’s likely preparing for a national audience as well — but first he’ll have to get through a tighter-than-expected re-election race against Democrat Mary Burke, a former state secretary of commerce. As if that wasn’t enough, analysts say that his race could also say a lot about the political strength of labor unions, given that they’ve made defeating

President Obama was at Northwestern University on Thursday to deliver an economic speech that, he and his team hoped, would lay out the case for why the public is better off today than they were six years ago -- even if they didn´t feel it in their everday lives. Instead, Obama just gave every Republican ad-maker in the country more fodder for negative ads linking Democratic candidates to him. Here are the four sentences that will draw all of the attention (they come more than two thirds of the way through the speech): "I am not on the ballot this

The real reason winning the Senate matters

You can win midterm elections without a positive agenda. You can’t win presidential elections that way. It is therefore vitally important for Republicans to win the Senate in 2014. Here’s why. In midterms, it’s all right to be the party of no. The 2010 election, for example, was a referendum on the liberal overreach of the first two Obama years. Result? A Democratic “shellacking,” said President Obama. The massive stimulus, (the failed) cap-and-trade and Obamacare created a major backlash that cost Obama the House and, with it, the rest of his ideological agenda. It’s been blocked ever since. That’s the

Eleven whistleblowers in the FBI say the bureau is targeting them for termination in retaliation for their revelations about FBI wrongdoing, the top Republican on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary announced Wednesday. The whistleblowers, who have spoken out about various problems and wrongdoing at the law enforcement agency, said they recently have been served with Loss of Effectiveness orders, warning that their performance is suffering and that they could soon be fired. “These whistleblowers never have the opportunity to make their case,” said Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican. “It’s stereotypical treatment of whistleblowers for the executive branch.”

U.S. has only jet to transport

As the Ebola virus spread quickly across parts of Africa in March, U.S. officials confronted a logistical nightmare: a complete lack of infrastructure in affected regions, no evacuation plans and air charter services that were unable or unwilling to fly into the region to transport seriously ill patients. And it turns out there’s only one jet in the world — operated by a small private plane charter company in Georgia — with a special transport tube that allows medical personnel to treat Ebola patients while in flight. The Atlanta-based Centers for Disease and Prevention helped develop the “air transport bio-containment

Despite national guidelines for evaluating potential Ebola cases and worldwide awareness of an epidemic that has killed thousands in West Africa, a man who later tested positive for the disease was released from a Dallas hospital even though he said he had traveled to Texas from Liberia. The man returned two days later and was placed in isolation before he became the first person ever diagnosed with Ebola in the United States. But as a result of this lapse, Thomas Duncan was able to leave the hospital and interact with more people while experiencing symptoms, which is when the virus

The confirmation Tuesday of the first Ebola case on U.S. soil emerges against a backdrop of increasing concern in America’s medical community that preparedness for a pandemic has stagnated or slipped in recent years because of tough economic times and increasing malaise since the 2001 anthrax threat. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, America’s premier disease fighter, offered the air of confidence in declaring that the first Ebola patient in Dallas was carefully contained. But earlier this year, it sounded less optimistic about the U.S. health system’s ability to fight a pandemic should a major disease outbreak occur.

A recent fight between Rosie O´Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg has producers at The View looking to add a cool-down room for the ladies. After being cut off by Goldberg during an episode last week so the show could go to commercial, O´Donnell began to express how upset she was and, after being told repeatedly by Goldberg it was not the right time to have that discussion, eventually got cursed out by the Oscar winner. Goldberg told O´Donnell, ´F*** it, I told you to leave it alone and you just don´t want to listen. If you want to go there Rosie,

A presidential defeat isn’t an easy thing to bounce back from. And Mitt Romney did it twice. So it was understandable that after he lost the presidential race in 2012, he was adamant about closing the door to the possibility of a third campaign. But recently, speculation is whirling that Romney may not be so adamant anymore. When asked if he was running in a New York Times interview published earlier this week, Romney said : “I have nothing to add to the story. We’ve got a lot of people looking at the race,” he said. “We’ll see what happens.” That response, which

Meghan McCain joined the dog pile on the Secret Service this week, saying she’s had “nothing but horrible experiences" with the agency and likening the agents to “glorified mall cops.” The 29-year-old author and television personality, who is also the daughter of former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), opened up on Pivot’s “TakePart Live” about some of her interactions with the Secret Service. "I have nothing but horrible experiences with the Secret Service,” McCain said. “One of my friends called them glorified mall cops and I don´t think that´s terribly far off. I found them cliquey. WASHINGTON — Representative Elijah E. Cummings of Maryland was at the grocery store the other day when he ran into an elderly black woman who expressed growing concern about President Obama’s safety. Why, she asked, wasn’t he being better protected by his Secret Service agents? The furor that led to this week’s resignation of the director of the Secret Service resonated deeply among blacks, outraged that those supposed to be guarding the first black president were somehow falling down on the job — and suspicious even without evidence that it may be deliberate. “It is something that is widespread in

Go to a grocery store in California and buy all the milk, eggs and vegetables you want. But there’s one thing you won’t find at the checkout line, beginning July 1, 2015: Plastic bags to carry your stuff home. Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on Tuesday signed into law a ban on single-use plastic bags, making California the first state to prohibit stores from using the ubiquitous carry-alls. Shoppers will be charged 10 cents for every paper bag and heavy-duty plastic bag they use. “This bill is a step in the right direction,” Brown said in a press release announcing his approval. “It

Speaking at a Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors event last night, Hillary Clinton decided to talk about Alexis de Tocqueville. The problem? She got it wrong -- by about a hundred years. "There´s a wonderful phrase that was first used by Alexis de Tocqueville, who came to the United States in the very early 1930s and traveled around our country," said Hillary Clinton, a probable 2016 presidential candidate. "And he was so amazed at how Americans organized themselves -- you know, coming from aristocratic Europe, which was totally top-down and hierarchical -- he couldn´t believe how many of us were joiners.
