´Hell to pay´: Vladimir Putin warned he will
face the consequences as rebels boast that

Flight MH17 by firing Russian missile at jet

A Malaysian Airlines passenger plane has been shot down on the Russian-Ukraine border in an ´act of terrorism´, killing all 295 people on board including around 100 children. The Boeing 777 aircraft exploded into flames at 33,000ft as it was hit by a sophisticated surface-to-air missile over territory near Donetsk held by pro-Russian rebels who the Ukrainian government says are backed by the Kremlin. Dutch authorities have said that at least six Britons, 154 Dutch and 27 Australians were on board the doomed plane, and it is feared that up to 23 Americans and four French passengers had been killed. American officials confirmed

I wonder where Hillary´s little "Reset" button is?

I suppose Øbama is slightly worried about this one. It has no chance of interfering with his vacation plans, of course, but, still... Who knows. And it must worry him even more that it could distract him from playing with his Blackberry or some silly national security business could upset his tee-off time.

If we had a real President the Russian ambassador would be kicked to the curb and our ambassador would be recalled. Then we´d lay down the law. Putin needs a 2 by 4 between the eyes. Obamas going to give him a kiss on the cheek. The world is a very dangerous place.

On Friday, we learned that among those killed on the Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 plane that was shot down over Ukraine was top AIDS researcher Dr. Joep Lange. The doctor was en route to the International AIDS Conference, scheduled to begin this weekend in Melbourne, Australia, along with more than 100 other AIDS researchers and activists on the flight. Also scheduled to attend the conference is President Bill Clinton, who had met Dr. Lange and praised him in an interview with CNN from Hanoi, Vietnam Friday morning. “It’s awful,” he said. “I mean, those people are, they’re really, in a way,

Russia brushed off international criticism on Friday to throw blame for the MH17 plane crash back on Ukraine and the West. Worldwide opprobrium was poured on to the Kremlin for supporting separatist rebels, who stand accused of sending down the Malyasia Airlines jet. But Moscow denied any ties to the attack, claiming it was the victim of a political vendetta. Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, accused Washington of a “criminal decision” to back Petro Poroshenko, Ukraine’s president, in waging war against pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine. “Frankly speaking, I believe that this disaster will sober up those who have very clearly

President Obama was in Delaware on Thursday when a Malaysian airliner went down near Ukraine´s border with Russia. The president was scheduled to give a speech on transportation issues, but began his remarks talking about what, at that time, was thought to be a shoot down of a passenger jet. Daily Mail: President Barack Obama provoked fury in the U.S. on Thursday by casually devoting less than a minute to the deaths of 295 people aboard a Malaysian airliner, as he began an often jokey 16-minute speech about the need to expand America’s transportation infrastructure. As the world continued to search for answers over the downing of Flight MH17, the internet came alive with conspiracy theories today. And today was no different as web sleuths across the globe rushed online in a bid to hypothesize over what really happened to the doomed Malaysian Airlines passenger plane . . . Was whoever shot down MH17 actually trying to assassinate Vladimir Putin? Russia Today sparked a fever of speculation last night after publishing a report that claimed the doomed

The Obama administration accused Israel on Thursday of failing to do all it can to prevent civilian casualties in Gaza during cross-border attacks. Noting the deaths a day earlier of four boys who were killed on a Gaza beach by an Israeli strike, the State Department said the high civilian death toll in Gaza has been "heartbreaking." Three more children were killed in Gaza on Thursday. Still, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki also criticized Hamas militants in Gaza who continue to fire rockets and mortars into Israel, prolonging the latest round of violence in the Mideast that has so far killed 235

We know two things for sure about President Obama´s foreign policy. First, the world is a mess. It reminds you of that school teacher who lost control of her class. I remember a case like that in 7th grade and it was not a suitable place for learning. From the Gaza to Iraq, we´ve got problems that no one would have imagined a couple of years ago. The latest international mess is a commercial aircraft shot down and 300 people killed. There were 23 US nationals on that flight and President Obama needs to address the nation from The Oval Office like

London-based Russia Today reporter Sara Firth announced her resignation this morning in protest of the politicized coverage of yesterday’s shoot-down of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17. Firth said the manner in which Russia Today announced the tragedy was the “straw that broke the camel’s back for me.” Press Gazette has more: Russia Today has been criticised for suggesting the crash is the fault of Ukraine. Most other media outlets have suggested that a more likely explanation is that pro-Russian separatists were responsible for shooting down the passenger jet. So far it is estimated that around 300 people died in the crash.
